    Akane

Akane was about to leave Hargeon town after she had visited a friend of her, Aera Tylidea, in the inn of Hargeon town. But that was about to change.

Akane walked through the door outside, it was in the early afternoon. She just broke up breakfast and walked to Raimei. Then she saw that Raimei stood there still fully saddled. “Ow, shit! Sorry, Raimei. I had forgotten about the saddle and all!” Said Akane with every hint of surprise and regret in her voice. Raimei snorted and placed his ears in his neck and back to normal, showing that he was displeased. She walked up to Raimei and laid her left hand on his nose. “I’m truly sorry.” Said Akane softly. “What was with Aera?” Whined Raimei “Why do you look so pale?” “Aera was sick but she feels a lot better now. I’m fine.” She said. “I’ll walk for now. Let’s look for some apples for you.”

Akane explained more about Aera during the travel to the local market. Their where many market store’s scattered around on the great square. She bought Raimei three apples and fed him one of them. They kept on lingered a bit longer on the market. Akane took a look at some weapon vendors but she was not impressed by what she saw. I’ll buy something new when I got back to the islands. she told herself in her mind.  They in de end they had almost seen all the market stores and were about to leave the square when her eyes saw a person she knew. It was Advent. She walked towards him and greeted him. “Hey Advent, what are you doing here? Haven’t seen you in a long while” Asked Akane, she reached out her hand to shake Advent’s. “How are you doing?

Advent had been walking around he had never experienced an open market like this before so it was a new learning experience to him which for the most part he had been enjoying "So a market is where people sell things they've made or grown" he scratched his head not really understand why they used stalls when many other people used shops. 'People are confusing' he thought to himself, to be honest he had no idea why he was in Hargon town this time "I swear this place draws me like a yo-yo... I always seem to end up here" he seemed almost upset about the matter but since he arrived in Fiore this was the most visited place by the long white haired youth and that concerned him a little more so since there was quite the lack of dead in it so there seemed to be no reason for him to be there. It hadn't occurred to him that might be part of the reason that he was always drawn there.

He had been given a warning like he always had since the first time he entered to be on his best behaviour and to stay away from where the animals were kept. The first time he came he had set the pigs free believing it wrong for them to be cooped up as they had been but since then it seemed like they had a bigger place and seemed happier so he had no reason to help them escape their home. He had been lost in his own thoughts when he heard a somewhat familiar voice and snapped out of it "Um..." he tapped his head as he tried to figure out the woman's name again but nothing was coming it had only been a day or two they spent together, though on hearing her companion a he grinned happily "Raimei!" his voice seemed somewhat excited as he ignored Akane for the moment stroking the nose of the horse.

Hearing that Akane had placed her hand out to shake his he pulled back shaking his head "I don't do physical touch." he explained bowing to her a little as he had been taught was a greeting "It's nothing personal my parents don't like it and there's a kind of transference" he tried to explain without going into it to much. "I remember Raimei but I don't remember your name... I'm sorry" he said with a somewhat embarrassed tone it's not that he didn't want to remember her it was just that taking in and keeping information for the young mage was hard.

    Akane

Advent was scratching his head when Akane called her. We weren't a part for such a long time. Though Akane, He should have remembered my name. But no, hey said Raimei. Not to Akane but to her steed. She looked at Raimei, who smiled with his ears. "I'm more important." Snorted he, as he enjoyed being pet by Advent.   Akane ignored him, her shoulders dropped a bit and her smile dropped on one side.

Advent told her he wouldn't shake her hand, another little disappointment. I thought they shake hands here? she thought. "My name is Akane." Said Akane a bit more bitter as intended. "But yeah, Raimei would agree to it that he is much more important to remember than me." Laughed Akane, the reply from Raimei syncronised with her thought that expected what he would say. "Of course I'm." "You won't go anywhere without me." Added Raimei to that. "It doesn't really matter, we haven't been accompanying each other for such a long period." Said Akane to Advent, hoping to take away the possible damage she had done with the tones in her voice earlier. "So what brought you here?" Asked she.

She caught up on a conversation of a few locals. "Have you been to 'that' restaurant?" Said a woman. A man replied "No, I haven't. I've heard that food and the people are nice and all but apparently the owner of the place isn't the slightest. I don't plan to go somewhere where the owner misbehaves" Another woman joined in. "I've been there, it is exactly how you say it. He is a creep, don't go to it if you intended to." The first person replied "So the rumours are true. Then I will cancel the reservation and go somewhere else."

Akane thought over the conversation that she over heard. "Have you heard that conversation? Should we take a look there and see what the fuss is about? If nothing is wrong then we can just eat and update each other on what done since we met."

Advent blinked under his blindfold he knew what the other was likely thinking, that it had been a short time since they had last parted but for the white haired youth it may as well have been years. It wasn't like he wanted to forget her it was just without reminders he forgot a lot of things and needed help from his guardians to remember such things as names for people. What the other didn't realise was that often he even forgot the names of those who raised him so it wasn't aimed as an insult at her, the only reason he remembered Raimei was the fact that he was a horse and got on with nature more than people at the best of times. "I really am sorry miss, I just..." he sighed his expression sad as he tried to find a way to say it without making it seem like he was making excuses for his forgetfulness "I have a hard time keeping information, even the information I do remember things it's sort of store it differently" he explained his head lowered he hated how he was but he couldn't help it he had tried many times without any signs of success.

"Please don't think it's just you, I have only had physical contact with two people since before I could remember" he explained, this one was a little harder not to seem like a crack pot in his opinion but he would try his best not wanting her to seem upset over it "I was brought up within a culture that bowed to greet" he stated thinking that was the easiest way to get over that hurdle. 'I doubt they would like it if I was to let her know about them and she'd likely think I'm crazy' he thought sighing silently not wanting to get her worried about what was going on in his head. "Hello Akane, it's a pleasure to meet you again." his voice was warm as was his smile bowing to her once more "I remembered the voice just not it's name" he explained understanding that she was a little upset about the situation but it was something he would never be able to help.

"No insult was given so none was taken" he said with a grin tilting his head but when he was asked as to why he was there he tilted his head trying to find a suitable answer because not even he knew, he was just always drawn to this darn city like it was a siren singing its song to him. 'I wish I knew I really do' he thought but he had to think of some reason to tell her "Education..." he finally said with a bouncy tone "First time being at a market" he explained which wasn't a lie by any stretch of the word seeing as he had grown up having nature provide everything he needed for him "Why are you here Akane?" he asked in return seeing as it seemed to be a common question for conversations and since she had asked him he thought it was correct to ask her the same thing.

Advent had overheard the conversation though he wasn't meaning to eaves drop but if what they said was true perhaps there was some darker at work in the shadows "So what's a host club?" he asked in a confused tone his finger already sitting on his bottom lip as he had no idea what to think on the matter but nodded in agreement that they should at least go have a look "It will be a good learning experience for me if nothing is wrong and if there is something wrong we can take care of it before I learn" he explained happily to the other hoping they where okay with the idea of coming on for lack of a better term a school field trip.

    Akane

"Oww, no worries." Said Akane, she tried to think of something to cheer Advent up. But Advent went on before she could think of something. She laughed "It's also a custom to bow in my culture to greet a person, I thought however that you were from Fiore? My apologies." She said, "A pleasure it is to meet you again."

"I'm also not insulted anyway." Said Akane, smiling. Education? Don't ask Though Akane. "You have never been on a market? Eh... what do you think of it? Said Akane with a mild confusion, it was hard to comprehend that someone has never been on a market and that it was educational. "A friend of mine had sent me a letter that she had fallen ill and wanted to have her friends by her side while she confronted the disease." She didn't speak the whole truth, her friend Aera illness was a side effect of a dragon slayer lacrima or heart. "She has recovered and I was on my way home but decided to visit the market first. Getting supplies to travel back, I left my home in a hurry to get here so I hadn't really packed."

"Eh, a host club is a sort of restaurant kind of thing." Said Akane head scratching "That's the best way to describe it I think." Again, learning, what's with it. Though Akane she didn't asked. "Yeah sure, I would think that the host club will be open over a few hours so we have to wait for that. But we could look some more around first." Said Akane smiling.

They got to the host club when the moon started to ascend the skies. At the door stood a fellow with bleached hair, smoking the last of his cigarette. He welcomed them as he pressed out his cigarette and threw it in a trash bin. "Welcome, two seats?" Akane answered for the two of them. "Yes, two seats please." The host opened the door for them so they could pass through. The host took lead and brought them to a table with two chairs. "Can I get something to drink?" Asked the host. "For me some sake. Correction, a bottle of sake please." Asked Akane, she recalled that she didn't have that drink in since she arrived in Fiore. "Okay, I'll bring the menu cart as well."

They were now properly seated with their beverages and Akane wanted to open the menu cart but then Don't I know that guy? ... That is Guy! Though she as she looked at the man behind Advent. Guy had seen her as well and was faster as Akane. "Hey what are you guys doing here?" Said, Guy.

Re: Episode 02: Roaring in the Ocean! Let's Get Sapphire! [Tamashi en Berggeit]

Advent shook his head to when she explained about thinking he was from Fiore "No, my parents let me come here to learn things, in a year I must return home if I haven't found a place to call home here" she explained a wide smile coming across his face as she said that bowing was also part of her culture, he hadn't met anyone like himself since he had came to Fiore so it was refreshing to say the least to the strange white haired youth. He bowed to her happily "It is nice to meet you again Akane" his voice almost chirped he now had something that could trigger a memory to remember him of her which was what he needed to remember anything however he rarely got trinkets from people so he it was really luck if he remembered a person or not. "I look like I'm from Fiore? Really?" he tugged on his sleeved arm as he stood not sure if that was indeed true as he had no idea what people looked like.

He shook his head to the question "Where I was raised I didn't have one" he said honestly now feeling a little self conscious since this seemed to be odd to the other "I know shush..." he said pointing to the air much like he had the first time they had met "I'm not going to say anything, you lot get angry when I do..." he crossed his arms huffing turning his attention back to Akane "Sorry about that, they're protective." he said with a nervous smile "Where I was raised I was taught to live off the land, nature provided me everything I needed" he said honestly hoping for no follow up questions but he knew it could be a possibility. Then he realised she already had one he scratched his head before shaking it his white hair dancing around him like snow "I don't like it, to many people and so many loud voices.." he was going to continue to say not all of them living but he decided against it he knew he most likely already seemed odd to the other he didn't need to add more to it, not that he cared it was more the nagging that he would get with it.

"I hope your friend gets better" he said hearing the reason the other had been there in the first place, he hated falling sick but that was because it was more than physically when he fell sick, he became magically sick too and then his magic was playing Russian roulette with a gun you took off an enemy because you really didn't know what you were going to get or if his magic was going to even work. "I don't like falling sick" he finally verbalised shuddering remembering the last time. "I see.." he said before he realised what he had said giggling when he realised what he had said "Well I don't see obviously but I understand" he said with a grin his head tilting as he listened to what a host club was blinking under his blindfold "Why would anyone want to go to one of those things, it seems stupid" he blurted out without thinking which happened all to often if you could ask his guardians but he wasn't one to hold his tongue on things.

Listening to her next words he pouted for a moment "You know you just said "Let's look around" to a blind kid right" he pointed out, sure he would love to waste time but that was hitting a little below the belt, he knew it would seem a little hypocritical given he joked about his sight not to long ago but that was him poking fun at himself after realising something he said. "Would I like to waste some time till the useless place opens sure" he said smiling once again, it was almost as if he was bipolar with how he worked but it wasn't something he could help it was due to how he guarded himself from his own magic and the task he was given throughout this lifetime as much as he disliked it, it was like he was never alone but he suspected if they where gone he would go more insane due to the silence before to long so it was catch twenty-two for him on the subject.

He followed Akane around listening to things she spoke about and those around them, taking in the new scents he had never experienced before, some of them were pleasing to him while others made him want to gag due to the pungent strength or just the smell of them but he kept that to himself not wanting to put off those buying the dreadful stuff. He stopped as she did allowing her to do the talking last thing he needed to do was insult a staff member before they had even got a foot in the door. His head moved this way and that as they entered as he tried to take in the sounds "Are these people pretending to people's boyfriends?" he asked hearing some of the talks going around thanks to his enhanced hearing as he sat down in the place they where given. "Water will be fine for me" he said as they were asked if they would like something to drink "Sake? Is that like plum tea?" he asked knowing the trick some of his own culture played with it. "The guy from the first time we met?" he couldn't help but groan he remembered the first time and how hard it was to keep him from running off.

"Ow okay, have you found a place to call home yet?" Asked Akane. She wondered why if it was truly smart to be alone in that case. On the other hand, she had seen Advent handling himself well. When Akane saw that Advent pulled on his sleeve it hit her, How could I have been so stupid, his clothing is off for that of being Fiore.

What then came was somewhat confusing to Akane. She just listened and nodded. Not sure what to say or what to ask.

"Yes, falling sick isn't nice. I've never seen such agony in my life." and her mind drifted off to some dark memories. She made a soft smile when of Advent's mistake in word choice's. "Well, some people don't want to cook or bring someone special with them to eat somewhere I guess. No one is forced to go."

"... to a blind kid right" Said Advent and Akane's head turn tomato red. "Sorry!" She shrieks out, "my apologies." Said Akane as she dropped her shoulders and bowed down. Stupid me. For the next bit she felt somewhat ashamed for her big mistake but as time moved on she recovered to her normal self.

Akane was a bit confused with what Advent said. "What do you mean by that?" Asked Akane, referring to the people's boyfriends part. "Eh, sake is an alcoholic beverage made of rice." Was Akane's answer to Advents question.
