    Magic

    Primary Magic: Starlit Prism
    Secondary Magic: N/A
    Caster or Holder: Caster
Description: Starlit Prism is a magic that few people know much about. It can only be learned through direct tutoring, rather than through a book as some prefer to do. It is named for its appearance, which manifests as a multitude of billions of specks of light, the colors of which are either controlled primarily by the emotion of the user. In fact, this magic itself is nearly completely emotion-based. Positive emotions aid in battle, while negative ones provide a disadvantage. It was created hundreds of years ago when the first user wished for a magic no others had. This coveting led him to eventually capture and kill hundreds of fairies, turning each of their power into dozens of orbs of light, the very light that makes up Starlit Prism. However, this horrendous action came with a price. The magic became cursed. It can never be learned by any method but tutoring, and even then, once the student overcomes the master in terms of power, the master is fated to die within the day, often through a tragic death. If the user attempts to kill themselves without teaching it to another, they become part of the magic itself, forced to watch in eternal torment as the magic continues its reign on the next person it latches on to.

Neru surpassed her master at a young age due to the man's slowly deteriorating health, though she has yet to be aware of what truly happened to him. As such, she knows little of the deeper workings of the magic, simply due to the fact that she was never told of them. As such, she often finds herself using the negative effects in battle. In terms of the magic itself, she prefers to keep the lights floating around her in a sort of cloud at all times, ready at any moment to be formed into a spell and sent into the direction needed. As such, it's often rare to find her without at least a few little spheres of light drifting around her. Even then, it's more often she uses it as a defense instead of an offense, which leads back into her use of its negative side.

    Strengths:
[*]Blinding Light: If one is looking directly at the spell she casts that requires all of her light orbs (these instances will be noted in the sell itself) they'll be blinded by the flash for one post.
[*]Edge over Darkness: Given the nature of the magic being one of light, it works the best against magics of and related to darkness in that it gives 50% more damage against them.
[*]Healing: Given light's pure nature, this magic can also be used for healing.

    Weaknesses:
[*]Negative Emotion: An excess of negative emotion, such as hatred or anger, have a negative effect on her magic. This is elaborated on in relation to Black Cast and the primary emotive colors of Red, Brown, and Grey.
[*]Cursed Tutor: If Neru ever attempts to teach another her magic, and they draw above her in power, she will die.
[*]Light Effect: As it is a light magic, it only deals 25% of total damage to magics that are also light-based.
[*]Stealth: Given that the light nearly never goes away, Neru and stealth are two things that don't fit well. It's like walking with a sign over her head stating exactly where she is at any given moment.

    Lineage: Spirit Of Corruption:
Description: Aeons ago, a noble king made a deal with a deity of deception and malice. The deal was that he would sacrifice his entire family, along with himself, in a dark ritual in honour of the being, but would have his kingdom spread across the world to become a global empire. What really was the case, however, was that the same deity had previously forged a contract with a rivalling kingdom. The deceiving god would ruin the noble king's growing country and would in turn receive the hand of the rivalling king's daughter, whom was so beautiful even the god had become captivated by her. Thus, the deity tricked the noble king to kill himself and all heirs to the throne, eventually leading to political wars for the empty throne of power which ravaged the kingdom and killed it from within.
To this day the deceived king's angered spirit roams the world in it's quest for vengeance, sometimes possessing the bodies of children at birth and remaining dormant within them until his wrath is called upon.
Ability:  Calling upon the power of the king, and the vast population that died upon the deal’s completion, the user can expel an energy burst outward from themselves, knocking anything around the user away or unconscious. The energy blast has a range of 20 meters, in which the first ten meters from the epicenter can cause intense vertigo or loss of consciousness for anyone that is at least two ranks below the user. If one is 11 meters to 20 meters away from the epicenter, they will simply be knocked back violently.  Can be resisted by those who are well braced and sturdy. Anything caught in the energy burst will be dealt user ranked spell damage(max S-rank)
Usage: Instant effect with an 8 post cooldown.

    Unique Abilities:
[*]Black Cast: This is an ability that manifests when negative emotion has completely taken over Neru, to the point that all her dots of light have turned black. This takeover of black light is then given the name Black Cast. However, because black light is somewhat of an oxymoron, this state cannot remain. Thus, the orbs draw in close to the caster's body and then explode. This gives damage of one rank above Neru to anybody within a 10-meter radius, but also lower Neru's health to a state of unconsciousness (0 HP), no matter what her health may have been at the time.
[*]White Cast: White Cast is the opposite of Black Cast, but doubly as difficult and rare to come across. This is an occasion in which Neru's is feeling purely one, positive emotion. Due to human nature, this is often nearly impossible. The only documented case in which she was able to use it was one in which her mentor was under attack, and she wished to save him. When under White Cast, Neru's damage is doubled. However, if the pureness of White Cast is corrupted even slightly by negative emotion, it turns to Black Cast, which, as explained above, ends up leaving her in a state in which she is unable to battle.
[*]Colors in Relation to Emotion: As stated in  the description, each color has an new effect on the magic. This is based on the primary emotive color at the time, or the color that is most dominant among the orbs of light. When the magic is in use, it is required that the user state the current primary color in every post. The primary color must match the RP logically (AKA color can't be blue if the user is showing more signs of anger).

I apologize that it's taken me so long to get to your magic; the night I went to do it, I had a ton of stress hit me head-on. I also had my lover come up and visit me unexpectedly and have been spending time with him; however, I have now found the time to do your magic, so let's get this show on the road! If you have any questions pertaining to your magic and requested edits made by me feel free to hit me up onsite through PMs or through DMs on Discord at Marshy#6961. You can find my requests in this color.

Even then, it's more often she uses it as a defense instead of an offense, which leads back into her use of its negative side.

    Strengths:
[*]Blinding Light: If one is looking at the spell she casts, there is a 1/5 chance that they'll acquire blindness for two posts after the spell. Just as a small note, chances are not really calculations that are taken into consideration; either the spell is able to blind an opponent or not. As for the blindness effect itself, I'd like the duration lowered to one post instead of two, especially since you're currently lower ranked.
[*]Consistent Presence: Given that the magic never really turns off, it is consistently present and always ready for use. Most often, this provides light in the darkness, though it can on occasion give a good edge over a user of holder magic. This consistent presence requires no energy unless she chooses to make use of it. I'm confused on how this affects holder magics? If it affects darkness, wouldn't it just affect darkness/shadow magics over all else?
[*]Healing: Given light's pure nature, this magic can also be used for healing.

    Weaknesses:
[*]Negative Emotion: An excess of negative emotion, such as hatred or anger, have a negative effect on her magic. Exactly what kind of negative effect and how does it affect her?
[*]Cursed Tutor: If Neru ever attempts to teach another her magic, and they draw above her in power, she will die.
[*]Light Effect: As it is a light magic, it only deals 2/3rds of total damage to magics that are also light-based. All right, so things aren't exactly calculated in fractions; they're calculated in percentages. I'd like the fraction turned into a percentage of anything between 25-50%.
[*]Stealth: Given that the light nearly never goes away, Neru and stealth are two things that don't fit well. It's like walking with a sign over her head stating exactly where she is at any given moment.

Due to human nature, this is often nearly impossible. The only documented case in which she was able to use it was one in which her mentor was under attack, and she wished to save him. When under White Cast, Neru's cooldowns are halved. However, if the pureness of White Cast is corrupted even slightly by negative emotion, it turns to Black Cast, which, as explained above, ends up leaving her in a state in which she is unable to battle. Unfortunately, reducing cooldowns is something that is not possible, so I'm going to have to ask that this is changed to something else. It's an unwritten rule that reducing cooldowns isn't possible, so I'll bring it up to staff to see if we can get it written in soon.

    Colors:
As a small note, I suggest using the Normal Dice when deciding what emotion is what instead of just randomly saying it in threads. For instance, Red could be 1, Orange could be 2, Yellow could be 3, and so on and so forth up to 7 (which would require rolling two Normal Dice at once (6+1, 5+2, 4+3) in order to get 7 since it looks like theres 7 emotions.
