Shini

Description: Shini is a Shinigami whom Shen has captured a century ago while he was trying to take Shens soul to the afterlife. He and Shen are bound to each other now until the curse has been broken. Needless to say, he's something of a laughing stock among the Shinigami. In order to keep himself alive, he's granted Shen immortality and has protected him since his capture and has even grown somewhat fond of the boy, thinking of him as interesting and fun even though Shen often refers to him as a nuisance or annoying. He doesn't understand humans though, so he doesn't get the concept of annoying so he keeps on being his annoying, wise cracking self.
Though a mortal wouldn't be able to tell, Shini is one of the youngest Shinigami in existence and he's not all powerful or anything like that. However it's still quite a feat for a mortal being to capture a Shinigami as Shen did. Before being captured by Shen he was actually bullied by the other Shinigami in the afterlife, which could be why he's taken such a liking to the Mortal and granted him Immortality, even protecting him on occasion. Regardless of the Why or the How, Shini has been Shens greatest asset as he's kept him alive for so long in such a youthful body.
Abilities:
- Invisibility: Shini has the option of becoming invisible at any time, hiding himself from whoever he doesn't wish to speak to, including Shen at times. Shen sometimes uses Shini's ability to spy on others. However Shini's mischievous nature will sometimes lead him to lie about what he's heard.
- Intangible: Though he's a Shinigami, he still possesses all of the qualities of a Ghost. He can phase through walls and cannot be touched by mortals. However he's still able to "Play" with things and haunt people in a way. He can move small objects and tamper with things that should be left alone. He can be quite a trickster sometimes. Mages wielding types of spirit manipulating magics cannot control him as his connection with Shen and power as a Shinigami is far too powerful for another mortal to deal with.
- Death God-Mode: Death God-Mode is a transformation Shini can go through in order to bring himself in to the Mortal plane to protect Shen from an impending doom. He becomes a much larger (Twice the size of an average height human.) and seemingly furry creature with two legs and arms and even a tail. He's much more fearsome in this form, but he is incapable of attacking since Shinigami Law forbids him from taking a mortal life before its time. However he's a great meat shield. He can take any amount of punishment in Shens place for five posts. However he can only do this once per thread.
