The day started out for one interesting fellow as he made his way into Crocus. He wasn’t in his normal regal body. No, he was in his more common used one. His stance was one full of pride, and his suit as white as a most virgins were pure. His face, sharp and stonic. His eyes, as usual bore their sickly yellow shades. Without a doubt, Requin was there today to put forth that the Nightshade was back. Though it comes into question, why was he there?

    Flashback

Several nights ago, and the monster Requin was hungry. Scratch that, he was starving for something to eat. He’d taken to an old haunt under a bridge. His tentacles pierced into the bricks of the underside of the bridge so to hold him up near the framework, and out of the eyes of others. Memories flashed back to him as he sat there. The last time he was here he was doing a job for Basilisk Fang. A kid had a bully issue, and he’d solved it. The means that he went through to do it were questionable, but he’d accomplished it. She was rather tasty if his memory served. He’d only taken her arm with him, but he was quite proud that he’d gone through the effort to inscribe what he had into her body. Many people would look at such a thing, and ignore it, believe it was just a crazy man. Though for those that followed the news, the “Nightshade” had struck days before in Era of all places, splattering the body of a young girl across an alley. This bothered some people, so much that they looked over their shoulder for a few months. There wasn’t another mention of this nightshade again after that. For a reason. He had to find a new host. His last one had reached the end of it’s rope. Regardless.

He found himself dangling above the attack point, waiting. His magical aura was rather weak, leaving him to seem like a weaken mage. When the sound of foot steps met his ears, his entire body, host and all turned. The urge to feed was nearly taking over him, forcing it to act as his driving force. Tap tap tap. These sounds, they were so slow to him despite them becoming louder with each moment. His anxiety caused time to slip by even slower, forcing him into agony.

His victim in fact had finally come into view, which he quickly dropped onto. His tentacles dislodged from the brick-masonry, and two of them quickly wrapped around his head. He tried to bite at the tentacles, but all that rewarded him was more pain as he tightened more. In the time that it took to squeeze harder, Requin had already transformed the heads of two of his tentacles into snake heads, which latched onto the next of the man. He screamed through the makeshift gag. Requin stared in sadistic pleasure as his meal was slowly being prepared. The bacteria that was being expelled into his system would begin to break down the body slowly in some areas, make them easier for the monster to consume.

Eventually the screaming faded as the man’s life faded away. Requin’s snake like tentacles began to eat at his body little by little. Each taking off small bites. Eventually he was full, but this meant once again, he was sane. His finger came out as a bone like blade extended. He took the time with the man’s skull that was left over to engrave one word. One word that would possibly break many in that town. Nightshade. He was back.

After he was done, a ringing began to erupt from the man’s pocket. The sound was one that Requin hadn’t heard in a long time. Mostly due to his isolation from the world around him. He picked up what was a phone from the man’s pocket, and clicked it to start the call. ”Nightshade? This is the terror? Well, it doesn’t matter. Whoever killed my messenger, I need you to go kill a few people in town. The voice said before rattling off the objectives. Requin grinned as his hand that wasn’t holding the phone reached out and stroked the head belonging to one of the snakes.

    End of Flashback

He carried on down the street at his hands sat in his pocket. His head tilted towards the building that housed his next meal. His eyes skimming around for what he was there for, and his partner he was waiting on.

A grand yawn escaped pale lips, shifting about underneath the sheets that laid over her body like freshly laid snow. The thick sheets had kept her undead body rather warm, which was quite a surprise to her to say the least, but perhaps it just meant something else. Her extended time away from the guild served its purposes no less, with them she'd been trying to close old connections and lie her way back into a seat of power. Her father, whether it have been unbeknownst to her mistress whom she was before her life changing incident in needing, Aoi's ideas of planting some claws down into her father little by little until she had him in her grasp again. Even if it meant playing as "Daddy's little princess" for a while, it was something she hadn't had any reason not to do. She'd already wore and acted the part as it was, the only thing she didn't have to maintain when she was within castle walls was the Elizabethan tongue she used to play people. When she first arrived, she had to try and convince this regal annoyance that she was truly his daughter, using only memories she knew the two of them had. Ever since then, she'd been showered in affection and spoiled beyond belief. Not only was she claimed to be one of several heirs, but she had been among the favorite of all of the kings children, which usually meant more than the actual succession formalities.

The maids took quick care in assisting the blind princess with everything but using the bathroom. After a shower and being dressed up, she had taken leave for a while. With Annabel in tow for the whole ride, she was able to conceal her blindness while the summon was even spoiled herself. Probably the highest treatment she was given ever, it gave her a little better outlook on the Grim doll. Quietly, her steps tried to keep up with Aoi without moving past her, avoiding wanting to upset anyone by hanging on her shoulder like usual. The look of it to others would probably end up showing odd ideas, plus if father saw the cat ruining her clothes, he would demand her clothes changed and hair done up to avoid his perfect angel being sullied by an animal... His words, not hers. Honestly, in hearing that it ticked a nerve, however she let it slide as an obvious over exposure to greed and other upper class diseases. It was those things that caused her to leave in the first place and only for the benefit of Eris was she doing this. That didn't really matter anymore though.

Now that she was in the streets, her eyes peered about, looking for a person for whom she had to deal with. Quite frankly, she wished these felines wouldn't bring her menial tasks meant for someone whom would get blood on their own hands. That's why she had this form; prim and proper princess~ Something to never get dirty with violence.. lewds were another story in it of themselves. Her eyes found it hard to adjust to the idea of seeing things still with how little she actually used it, but with a little time and effort, she managed to do good for herself in the end. As she had proceeded down the way towards some building to meet her partner as predesignated in the letter a little feline parcel ct had delivered for her, she found a rather lavish man standing by said building. He looked really, really cute. For someone that hadn't seen a man's face in over a decade, it meant something to her more that she had felt this way. With heels clicking about, she paused before this male, she smiled and gave a fair curtsy to him. "Good day, sir. My name is Lady Aoi Mitsurugi. I take it you're standing around for a reason, no? A stunning gentleman like yourself wouldn't be caught dead around such petty common folk without a purpose." She'd turn to face the crowd, but her glare and a coy smirk stayed on the suited man for his reply. Grasped in her right hand laid the letter given, purposely exposing several lines that he could see upon inspecting it, as if she were simply laying out a hint without the need to arouse suspicions of these peasants.
