    Link: Wedding Crashers

    Spoiler:

The carriage was all that was giving her any protection, and that was flawed as anyone could look through the front flap and get a good visage of the half demoness' physique and assets bare of all clothes, however would eventually slip into the perfectly-fit dress of azure blue silk. Now, her comely features bundled under the dress's silk and her own undergarments, she precariously placed a beautiful coral pin into her hair and stepped through the flap and into the scene of Rose Garden proper. She had invited two onto this job which had most usual requirements such as dressing for the occasion, and dealing with the bride's ex-boyfriends. Luna awaited the other two before continuing on with the job - one of which was someone she had just met and the other she vaguely knew of already from the beach party. The half-dragon was certainly more familiar to Luna, though she had a desire to know this guild-less wizard Astra and to join Astra's side as a friend.

As for Luna, she as a beauty with silken curls of black hue framing the beautiful countenance and falling to the mid of her back, yellow-hued irises focusing intently at the point of her short curved nose. Luna stands at a trimmed and lithe build with a height of five feet and eight inches, thin shoulders paired with vivacious curves and well-endowed physical assets. Luna's normal attire was a low-cut split dress of black hues with black-and-green raven feathers stitched in at the shoulders. A brown leather corset provides some protection to the maiden along with a satchel strapped to dangle off one side. Finally, black lace stockings rise high paired with long black leather heeled boots. Today, however, she wore a fine low-cut sleeveless dress of azure blue with crystal heels and a crystal bangle around one wrist.

It was not often that Akeya had reason to dress up. Well, outside of her personal hobby, but that didn't really count. She usually didn't dress up because she didn't have much interest in it (she was confident in how she looked in her normal attire, and the dressing up for her hobby was a side effect rather than the goal), and because her skillset didn't really demand it often. She was an assassin, and while some assassins specialized in blending in with the crowd to get near their target unnoticed Akeya was the kind of assassin who preferred to just not be seen at all. A shadow dragon and a shadow assassin, she moved without a sound, scent or form, sneaking past guards and traps to cut down a single target and leave again. As such, dressing up rarely was a point for her because not being seen was what she specialized in.

However this time around the roles were a bit different. Akeya had joined a job not because it was too interesting to her, but because it was an opportunity for her to gauge the effectiveness and skill of some of the other mages who had entered the grand game of Fiore recently. One of them was already part of Blue Pegasus, a woman who had succubus blood flowing through her veins and who undoubtedly was the one who had chosen this job. The other was... well, Akeya had heard that some of the other members of Blue Pegasus had interest in this one, and were hoping that she would join the guild as well. In which case it was a good idea for Akeya to also get a look at her to see what kind of blood she had. And to see what kind of people the rest of her guild was interested in these days.

Honestly, Blue Pegasus was not the same as before. Akeya had been in the guild the longest now because everyone before her had already left. Everyone else was basically fresh blood, and it showed itself. It wasn't necessarily a bad thing, but someone as controlled and precise as Akeya needed to know what she would have to deal with and adapt to for the near future so she could continue to improve and complete missions.

The job itself had all the mages who chose to participate dress up as if they were about to attend a wedding. Because they were. Rose Garden, a very popular city filled with magic and which Akeya personally also favoured, was planning a very big wedding for a particularly popular and beloved couple. Given the nature of Rose Garden, it wouldn't only be big but also just very, very fancy. Akeya mostly liked the place for the fact that the air was positively saturated with magic, which for a magical existence like hers made it a very place to be. But she had to admit that she also liked how in this place the humans themselves had learned to live with magic instead of constantly being suspicious and wary about it. It made them a lot more agreeable.

Still, her actual form wasn't something you'd usually expect at a wedding, and since she was supposed to dress up she was also supposed to be visible. Honestly her actual form just attracted attention in any place. Even if it was a place where non-humans were thought of as normal she STILL would be attracting attention by virtue of... well, it seemed that when Akeya's dragon blood had awakened it had decided that the young shadow dragoness would do well as a broodmother, and had made sure that she had the kind of body which supported the role. Akeya had learned to accommodate, but all the stares could make life a bit difficult.

Which was why she had used her ability to change shape to turn back into a fully human form, at least for the duration of this mission. The job was as simple as making sure that the wedding wasn't disrupted, and the only thing which made it a bit more complicated was that the bride had a former partner who really wanted to crash the wedding and who had a bunch of friends who didn't mind being branded as criminals and hooligans if they could help him mess the place up. Even if that sounded dangerous, Akeya wasn't too concerned. The former boyfriend was known as a mage, but he had never become powerful enough to make a big name for himself. Which meant that even in a human form Akeya should be more than enough to deal with him, especially with two other mages to help out.

Stepping through Rose Garden Akeya looked around, taking note of the many preparations that were being made for this wedding. It looked as if this event would be as much a city-wide festival as anything else. Well, she had already made sure she knew where the actual official wedding would take place, so she didn't have to move too far away from there to do her job of keeping the bride and groom safe. As well as anyone else whose presence and safety was vital to the successful proceeding of the wedding.

She still had to find the other two who would be helping out with guarding the wedding though. Since Akeya never used transport due to her nature as a Dragon Slayer she had kind of lost the habit of travelling together with others, so once she had finished preparing for the mission she had just left for Rose Garden and planned to find them there. It was fortunate that one of her partners would be easy to find: while the strength of the blood and exposure to the origin of that blood affected the potency, all demons and kin of demons shared a particular trait in their scent that exposed their nature to Akeya. Fortunately this particular specimen was only partially demon and hadn't spent her life surrounded by other demons, so the smell was still distinguished but didn't get on Akeya's nerves.

Catching that specific scent Akeya changed her course and followed it to the source, where she slowly approached Luna. As expected of someone whose lineage included at least one succubus she was quite the appealing sight: Akeya didn't believe it better than her own form, but since Akeya had a rather high opinion of herself that didn't say too much. The dragoness did deem Luna's appearance good enough that she could gain practically any male or female she wanted whose focus was on appearance rather than personality. As for personality... Akeya didn't know a lot about it yet, except that at the very least Luna wasn't the type to instigate fights for no reason.

"Greetings. Have you seen any sign of either our third ally or the targets yet?"

Akeya came to a stop about a foot away from Luna, close enough that she could speak without having to worry too much about others overhearing. While she had changed her appearance to make it human she had left her magic aura the same, as she hoped that Luna was sensitive enough towards such things that she would be able to recognize the dragoness in her human form without Akeya having to say it out loud.
