    BGM:

It was a rainy day in the town of Magnolia. Julius stepped out of the train station. He opened up his sea blue umbrella and started walking through the town. Drip, drip, drop. the town hasn't changed a bit since the last we were here... Julius said a bit sad. That's right... Do you think it's a good idea to walk around the town with that huge Fairy Tail emblem on the back of your coat Julius-kun? At the time Julius joined Fairy Tail he had printed the Fairy Tail emblem on the back of his pirate coat.Don't worry Squable this is a spare coat. Julius never bothered of printing the guild crest on it... And thinking back on it it was a good idea Julius didn't... It was a time where Julius could proudly say that he was a member of being a Fairy Tail guild. But ever since the magic council had declared Fairy Tail being a dark guild Julius didn't want to start telling people that he was a Fairy Tail wizard because he was afraid that they didn't want to be near Julius. Damn it... Why did this happen... Those bastards at the magic council only care about seeing others misery... Julius kind of gets why Blue-kun hates them... Julius was at the edge of tears. Let's go to the old guild hall... Julius continued walking towards the guild.

    BGM:

The guild hall looked really run down. All the windows were covered with wooden planks and the sign that said "Fairy Tail" now had a banner saying "traitors". Julius was shocked seeing the guild in such a bad state. Julius started thinking back on the first day he joined the guild he was very nervous but Julius was welcomed with open arms by the other members. he also thought back on the time when he met Hana, Sorano and Gamon when they formed a team. The guild really felt like a family back then. Julius collapsed to his knees and started crying. Why... Why... Why did this happen... Why can't the guild be the way it was again... Maybe Julius should just leave the guild...

Over the course of time, the little starling came to develop an appreciation for the more natural things that occurred in the human world, where a series of simple, set events that would've appeared mundane for some were the most curious of things in her eyes.

And one in particular that caught her attention were the beads of water that poured out in copious amounts from the skies. Rain, was it? In her memories, she'd recall the passage of large fluffy gray things that lazily coated the earth's atmosphere as they were seen from her chambers within the Aster Rodea, and although her sisters had fully explained the extent of these weather patterns, having felt them personally was an entirely new experience. It was an interesting perspective to watch them falling from the earth rather than watching large gray clouds rolling over the earth's blue horizon from amongst the stars, and having the droplets actually touch the surface of her skin was a feeling that she couldn't entirely describe with words, but she knew she admired it greatly with the way she discarded her umbrella as opposed to using it.

Although the aftermath of her little stunt only brought her a couple of weird stares and a batch of wet clothes, they were but trivial matters. For one, the starling would only react to the passing glances she received with little to no interest, directing all her focus unto the rain despite feeling a lasting chill creeping up into her bones. She'd shiver a little, although hesitantly, as she proceeded to walk, admiring Magnolia in much more mellow tune that greatly contrasted it's cheery features. The puddles beneath her feet would make adorable splashing sounds as she playfully skipped into several, watching her reflection waver in a set of small ripples.

Her little escapade later brought her to a more secluded part of Magnolia where the number of people dwindled and the crowds dispersed, as if they were inadvertently trying to avoid whatever was there. And having no prior knowledge on what it was, she sought to find her answers by venturing there -a large, run down building sweeping across her vision as she approached it on small steps.

She was surprised to see someone else there, however, their form looming with a depressed mood as they knelt on their knees. Having drawn closer made the figure a bit more distinct, her eyes catching the mop of blonde hair and stray tears disguised under the pouring rain. The starling would blink several times, wondering briefly what sort of business the man had to be crying in front of an abandoned building, the words 'traitors' flapping on a piece of cloth that was strung up on the entry way. If she squinted, she'd make out a sign, but the letters were blurry and runny with the rain, so there wasn't much to see.

Merrilee bundled her arms together behind her, gently occupying the space beside the blonde with a solemn expression. "What happened here, mister?" she'd ask, innocently so, as if she wanted a glimpse into his world despite not having an actual role in it.

J-J-Julius-kun please calm down... Everything will be alright! Please cheer up it isn't like you to act like this... Squable tried to cheer Julius up. But it didn't work Julius kept crying. He didn't know what to do anymore. He didn't want other people to see him as a dark wizard heck he wasn't even dark mage material. The only option seemed to switch guilds. But Julius didn't want to leave Fairy Tail, he didn't want to leave his friends... his family. *sniff* Mom... dad... Julius... Julius doesn't know what to do... What would you two do in a situation like this? Please... Julius needs you... If you can hear Julius... then please send a sign... Julius gave up he knew that no one could he hear him but he tried in the hope that someone... anyone could hear him.

Suddenly out of nowhere a girl was standing besides Julius she wasn't standing right next to him but kept a bit distant from him. The girl asked what had happend here. At first Julius didn't get what she was talking about but he then looked at the old guild hall and knew that she was referring to the guild hall. Julius stood up and grabbed his umbrella that he had dropped. The girl didn't had a umbrella with her. Julius swept away his tears with his pirate coat and walked towards the girl. Why don't you have a umbrella with you? You could catch a cold with this weather! Julius stood right beside the girl to give her cover. Julius was a bit surprised that she didn't knew what happened to Fairy Tail it was the talk of whole Fiore.

    BGM:

Despite her ignorance Julius decided to tell her what happened. This building here... Is the old guild hall of the Fairy Tail guild. Fairy Tail was once Fiore's mist famous and popular legal guild instead of treating each other as just "guild mates" this guild treated each other as family... But times changed as one of the Fairy Tail wizards had started committing crimes... The magic council gave the Fairy Tail guildmaster two options. Option one: kicking the coming storm out and give the wizard to the Rune knights. Option two: keeping the coming storm and Fairy Tail would be declared to become a dark guild... As Fairy Tail's decision time was over the guildmaster had decided on keeping the coming storm and turning Fairy Tail into a dark guild... The townspeople of Magnolia weren't happy with the decision and they banished the Fairy Tail guild from this town... And this is what they have done to the guild hall... Julius took a deep breath he didn't knew why he had told this girl this story but she had the right to know what had happened to the guild. If Julius may ask... What is your name?

The starling observed the blonde boy's actions with a tilt of her head, sporting curiousness as her main facet. He made a move to shield her from the rain with his umbrella, and as he did so, the chill in her spine become more prominent as it escaped into her skin in a tingle, but it had been bearable for her, somewhat, all those years floating in the coldest regions of space proving to have leaked into her human body.

"I like the rain, mister." she said, wiping her cheeks as stray droplets slid down her skin, though it proved worthless as her sleeves were also inevitably damp. She pursed her lips a bit, lending the boy an open ear as his words told a tale of both tragedy and camaraderie, and despite the ending being left on a sour note, she came to admire the said guild regardless if its alignment was now less than favorable.

Merrilee offered the boy a small smile, contrasting to the gloomy atmosphere that surrounded them. "I'm new to Ishval. I don't really belong here, see. I'm sorry if I don't know much." she began, shifting her focus unto what remained of Fairy Tail, the structure's colors ever vibrant. "It's a sad story, mister, but...I doubt the Fates have decided to end their story here."

The little girl took the initiative to outstretch her hand, urging the boy to shake it in a greeting that Endora taught her, something all humans would recognize immediately. "Endora named me Eirlys Reverie. Is your name Julius?"

    OOC: I'm so sorry this took forever. ;-;

Julius noticed that the girl was shivering a bit. he felt bad for her since her clothing didn't look like it gave any protection for the cold. Julius took off his blue pirate coat and putted it on the girl's shoulders. You can keep the coat if you want! Julius has a other one back at his home. Julius smiled. Then Squable whispered something in his ear. Oi Julius-kun! Do you really think it's a good idea to give a complete stranger one of your coats? Julius ignored Squable and continued talking with the girl.

She told Julius that she was new here and didn't knew much about the events in Fiore.Where do you come from? Julius asked. The girl acknowledge that it was a sad story and told Julius that the fates of the guild members hasn't been decided yet. Well that's true... But... No one in the Fairy Tail guild means any harm to anyone... And seeing them getting dragged down by this situation is just unfair...

The girl introduced herself as Eirlys Reverie and asked if Julius' name was Julius. Huh? ohhhh... hehehehehe... Julius was thrown of a bit since she knew his name but thanks to his habit to talk in the third person it seemed like everyone knew his name before he could even introduce himself. But yes... My name is Julius Seas and Julius is a water mage from the Fairy Tail guild! Are you in a guild Eirlys-chan? You know how about we continue this conversation under a nice cup of coffee! Julius pay's!

The coat was warm, and ashamed as she was for not bringing an umbrella, Merrilee was still grateful for the gesture, tucking her chin into the collar as the large thing seemingly covered her entire figure. She smiled inwardly, admiring humans like him who proved their kindness even in the midst of gloom.

"T-thank you kindly. I'll...return it, don't worry." she said, bundling it up on the ends so it wouldn't get soaked from the rain. When Julius asked her of her origins, she'd only toss one luminescent gaze towards the sky, her eyes hazy as if she were recalling a very distant memory. "My home is up there, somewhere." Merrilee said, remembering the feeling of falling as if it were still fresh from yesterday, when in fact, it had been years since her arrival in Fiore. "Endora often tells me that I came from the sky, but which part, I'm not sure."

The girl would shake her head, realizing that it wasn't the time to recollect the events of the past on a rainy day, much less then when she knew that her story was something trivial in terms to what happened to the guild that laid in waste before them. Her brow would furrow slightly as she heard Julius remark the word 'unfair' in his sentence, a part of her being bothered by the portrayal of unbalance -something that she loathed, so much.

The starling puffed a sigh, forcing the negative emotions out of her like a vent releasing steam. "They were protecting one of their members..." she muttered under her breath, "How can that be so unfair..."

The blonde boy's personality seemed to brighten her mood, nevertheless, ushering in a smile on her face as he formally introduced himself. Much to her surprise, he'd been part of the aforementioned guild, the whole situation now becoming clear in her head. She gave him a nod, a memory flashing before her eyes of a lady with bleach blonde hair offering to take her up into a castle in the clouds -Sabertooth, as the woman called it.

"It's nice to meet you then, Julius. As for the guild..." curiously, the girl lifted her coat a bit, revealing the crest that was labeled into the skin of her left thigh, a mark of her membership. "Ah...is it something like this? If it is, I guess I belong to them."

Julius would then offer to talk the matter further over a cup of...something, it sounded strangely familiar to what Endora would always make on her early morning experiments. But anyhow, she'd love to see where their conversation would lead, as much as she likes talking to all sorts of humans.

She giggled. "Alright, but don't worry about the pay, I'll manage mine."

Julius smiled as Eirlys accepted the coat. She would then point towards the sky saying that she comes from there Julius looked a bit confused since he had no idea how she could be born there. How ridiculous the fact may sound Julius believed her since in this world anything was possible. By the way Eirlys-chan... Who is this Endora? you don't have to tell Julius if you don't want. When it came to new people Julius was always curious.

Eirlys would then talk about the fact that it wasn't unfair that the guild protected one of their guild members. Well... Julius wasn't talking about the fact that they protected one of their members... Julius actually think it's unfair for the magic council for declaring the whole guild dark... Julius wasn't sure if he was clear to Eirlys. Julius kept thinking about what if this whole situation didn't happen. Then maybe he wouldn't have met Eirlys. Is this what they call a fateful encounter? Julius thought to himself.

Eirlys suddenly lifted her shirt a bit revealing a guild crest. It was the guild crest from Sabertooth. So... You are a Sabertooth mage... Julius once did a job with a Sabertooth mage. Julius thought back to that time. Julius still wonders how Mashyuu is doing.

Eirlys said she would manage the bill for the coffee on her own. Don't sweat it Eirlys-chan! See it as thanks for listening to Julius' story! Julius smiled towards her. Come let's find a café!

(OOC: Sorry if this posts seems a bit short and just answering your character's questions. I have some IRL shenanigans and it's hard to concetrate...)

A small bundle of blue locks would curl around her finger as she searched her brain for the right words to describe her Seamstress, and though she were to initially shower Endora's name in praise, Merrilee simply settled for a candid description that best fit the mood of the conversation, where the rain made it slightly more viable to use short and sweet words over lengthy sentences, just because of it's mellow temperament. "Endora's my master." she said, her fingers deftly digging into the material of Julius' coat, as to better hold it, "I owe my life to her after she saved me from certain danger. So now...I'm her apprentice."

Then, the blonde boy would strike a few words that indicated a misunderstanding on her part, and upon realizing that she might have said something that was entirely out of the main context, the starling would stutter, her words blundering off her tongue as her cheeks were dusted off with a light pink tinge. "I-I....u-um....I-I'm ter-r-ribbly...s-sorry....it must've..b-been my mistake," she said, shuffling awkwardly from foot to foot, "....T-terribly sorry....y-yes....labeling dark is...v-very unfair..."

In an attempt to curb her misunderstanding, Merrilee vouched to return her attention to the subject of the guilds. Silently, she'd wonder if Julius had been part of Fairy Tail, judging by his visible attachment to it. Though she hadn't been very well acquainted with the other wizards in Sabertooth, Merrilee knew of things like camaraderie and trust that was bound to be an effect of being committed to your guild. Humans were amazing in that regard -having the ability to dedicate part of their being to something they cherish, to her, had always been the prelude to the most amazing things that their race could possibly achieve to do.

Her gingerly soft smile persisted as the boy vehemently offered to pay her bill, the term 'Cafe' rolling softly against the corners of her brain and embedding into a space in her memory. What was it like, she wondered, being such a place that Julius seemed to be very keen on finding. Resolving that it wasn't any better for them to keep standing in the rain, the starling responded with a nod, shifting her stare to the open streets before them.

"Mm...hehe...well, if you insist." she said, a faint string of words that she was sure only Julius could hear, "Lead the way, then, I'm not very good with directions."

(ooc note: I was sick for the past week, so I couldn't do much, hopefully the long post would make up for it! QAQ)

Julius would look up to the sky and noticed that the rain was stopping. Cracks became to appear in the sheet of clouds above them and rays of sunshine came through. Slowly the clouds would fade away and everyone could enjoy the warmth of the sun again. So sunshine does appear after rain...Could this maybe mean... Julius probably was a bit overreacting so he didn't paid it any second thoughts. Oi Julius-kun! I will be looking around some more it has been a long time since I've been here to and you already have some other company! See you later! Squable winked at Julius before he flew away. Julius waved at Squable and then heard Eirlys speak again saying that Endora is her master Julius didn't know what to say about it.

Julius then became surprised by the hard time Eirlys was having with talking. Julius couldn't really make out what she was saying. Eirlys-chan... Are you alright? Julius asked concerned. Was it because of something what Julius had said?

Whatever it was it seemed Eirlys was feeling fine again and insisted in Julius leading the way towards a café. Alright let's go! Julius walked besides the young girl.

Julius looked around and spotted a cute little café. Over here Eirlys-chan! Julius guided the girl. Julius ordered two coffee's and while they were waiting Julius decided to ask Eirlys some things. So Eirlys-chan what's Sabertooth like? Julius only has visited Sabertooth once and that was a while back.
