    Job: The King of Beasts
    Rank: B
Player Requirements: B-Ranked Wizard(s). C-Ranked Wizards may only come if they accompany a B-Ranked Wizard. 300 word per post requirement. Thread must be at least 30 posts long. Must make 3 Monster Rolls Minimum.

Job Requirements: Find the Lion Pride outside of Hunter Village, bring back the tail, or tooth of the King of Beasts as proof of your victory. Must defeat one form of the Grand Lion.

(Note: Chief's Name is Up Too You, as Are Other Small Aspects)

    Job Location: Hunter Village

    Job Description:

    Enemies:
Weak: Young Lions x10 (These young beasts aren't fully grown, and are in adolescence. They are nimble as can be, and somewhat powerful even in brute force. They can surround you quickly, and strike without hesitation. They show no fear, unless you display something that is too frightening for any animal too conceive of. If you display magic of A-Rank or above, they will flee. Takes one or two hits too down.)

Normal: Lionesses x5 (These fem fatals are as deadly as one would expect the hunters of a lion pride too be. They are fast, and strong, able too dominate an unaware or an opponent who underestimates them quickly. They will attempt too hide, and strike if possible. Their claws do C-Ranked damage, and their bite does B-Ranked damage. Takes 3 hits too down each Lioness.)

Strong: Grand Lion (This Lion is MUCH too big, likely the biggest you've ever seen or will see. He stands easily thirty feet above the ground at the top of his head. He is about forty feet from head too the tip of his tail. He can leap vast distances due to his size, and will attempt too pounce near you and eat you in one fell swoop. He will claw at you if you move around a lot, and his swipes are quite fast. His leaping stomps and pounces deal B-Ranked damage too you and if he bites you you'll either be swallowed or ripped for A-Rank damage. If you're swallowed, you'll have too deal 10 hits of consistent B-Ranked damage too escape his stomach. If you miss too much, within the next 10 posts after being swallowed and do not escape within 10 posts, you pass out and you'll be done for. It takes 10 hits of B-Ranked damage too down this colossal beast, and 15 hits of C-Ranked damage too down him.)

Boss: Grand Lion *Berserk* (The Grand Lion is having a pissy day. He's enraged, and is even lashing out against his own lionesses. His usual stomps and pounces are much more brutal in this form, as he makes it a point too stamp around his targets after landing on them. He deals B-Ranked and A-Ranked damage with his leaps and pounces in this form. He is incredibly fast, as if driven, and will reach you in a matter of moments when charging. He lacks the intelligence he'd have if he wasn't enraged, but this makes him all the more deadly since it takes more too bring down this adrenaline infused King of Beasts. His bite does A-Ranked damage here, as he doesn't choose too swallow but too rip and shred his opponents, shaking them around in his mouth if he's got you bitten before tossing you too the ground and likely attempting too stamp on you. His mighty roar will stun you for the next post if you don't hide behind something, use some form of magic too protect against sound or simply quickly cover your ears. His roar shakes the ground and ripples waves into the air. Takes 15 hits of B-Ranked damage to bring him down in this Berserker Form. Or 25 hits of C-Ranked damage.

Reward: 15,000 Jewels and Renowned Fame within Hunting Village as a Great Hunter

    Sakura
    HP 200
    MP 100%
    WORDS 590
Sakura was normally hunting something that not many others would. Humans, the most dangerous of beasts as many would say. But of course, many would also be disgusted by this, perhaps even offended that others of their own race are sometimes treated as nothing more than wild animals. But they had to accept that some humans were indeed no better than wild animals that went rampant. A human filth that was staining the surface of this world called Earthland. Sakura and those who came before her took it upon themselves to rid the world of these pests as much as they possibly could. Of course… that was more of an excuse than anything. Even if Sakura herself did not know that just yet, most of those she killed were completely innocent. But there was no helping it, she just followed the whispers of her sword, doing what it wanted. The soul inside surely knew better than the young woman, as it w was much older and possessed great experiences. But today was a little bit different from that. Today she would actually have to hunt animals, something she did not do very often. In fact, she could almost not remember the last time she did something of this kind, which was perhaps more disturbing than anything considering what was her hobby. Alas, here she stood. In the center of the Hunting Village with Akatsubaki secured by her hip in it’s sheath. There was really only one thing stopping her. And that was the fact she didn’t visit this place very often. Because of that, she had actually zero idea as to where she should go. Quite the problem indeed. So right now, she was just kinda looking for anyone she could join or simply ask for directions. There were plenty of hunters around, but most of them looked just as confused, or even worse. Apparently the hunt that was going on was much harder than the ones of past with some of the hunters already defeated by the ‘prey’. Rather pitiful was what she thought about all this. Even if this was unusual for her, she had to show these pitiful excuses for warriors how things are done! Honestly, that was about the full range of her reasoning for this job. Nothing more, nothing less. She didn’t care about killing the animals, neither was she too interested in the possible rewards that could await her in case she was to succeed. She was only driven by the desire to show how strong she truly was to others without being necessarily considered a complete monster that should be put down as soon as possible, lest a tragedy would happen! It was a hard life she had, truly… unable to present her skills on daily bases. If the society was just a little bit more understanding, she would make sure to showcase her handiwork, perhaps even getting some of the corpses she made happen behind a glass display for everyone to see and admire. There was nothing bad with wanting to get some recognition, right? Everyone wanted to know that their skill was real, that they were making some form of impact on the world around them. And the best way to get it was to see it directly, in a positive way, not a negative one. So hunts like these, they were probably the best she could do to show off. Now only if she could find someone with the same amount of skill to show her around a little bit...

it may sound absurd but don't be naive
even heroes have the right to bleed
At his foot was a dirt path, and much like the others that he'd passed, Terith would follow it with his fabled intuition -the low rumble at the pits of his empty stomach, hollowed from several days out in the brutal wild. The swordsman gingerly raised an arm, like a leverage of sorts as he leaned close to a nearby tree. His figure huddled over, bending at the knee as if in response to the gnawing pain that slithered up the inner linings of his stomach. At his lips was a breathless huff, released with a string of incomprehensible mumbles, most likely directed at his ungodly appetite and his past diet and his current location where he was basically cornered by inedible shrubs and poison mushrooms.

The journey to Motor City proved to be brutal in matters of distance, more so when realizing how he ended up squashed among such remote locations in the first place. His previous request entitled him to travel into the sketchy areas of a neighboring, abandoned village. The objectives were something of the past for him, since it was handled quite nicely in that regard. But due to the injuries he sustained and the immediate rest he needed to recuperate, it seemed that the next train that should have gone through the forestry in less than a day left Terith to dwell on his own sorrows, ultimately driving him to travel by foot to the next available mode of transport: the vegetable carts in Beanstalk Village, whose path to Talonia seemed to briefly stop at Motor City.

However, nothing concerned him more than the ache near his abdomen, biting back as he took the initiative to keep trudging down the dust road. His trip to the city would have been discarded among his pile of trivial things in favor of persistence, something that did him miracles against his hunger through will-power alone. But a guy like him could only endure so much; not even his experience with earlier travels could match how desperate he was to claim something as a decent meal.

The swordsman withdrew a breath as he approached a clearing through the trees, the scent of chopped wood and embers briefly sweeping past his form as a breeze drifted by. Down below was a set of scattered huts and a gathering of people at the center of the area where bonfire smoke rose higher into the skies. He'd descend the sloping hill with an expression of anxiety warping through his tense smile, idly wondering if the tribesmen were at least civil when it came to strangers of his quality. Frankly, if this was the sort of ritual that involved a feast afterward, he wouldn't mind temporarily adapting to animism.

"U-uh....hey there." he began, unable to process any other intelligent greeting as he approached a woman whose ornate tribal clothing gave him quite the awe at first, "Um...what kind of party are you guys having?"

She'd tilt her head at him slightly, blinking numerous times before speaking, her words heavily accented by her native slur. "Sacrifice." she said, looking back at the fire and the people who tossed their offerings into it. "To please Gods. To help us kill big animal that bring harm to many of our brethren."

Terith arched an eyebrow at the prospect, his thumb instinctively glossing over the webbing on Kushinada's handle. By the gods, he seemed to have found himself an opportunity. What sort of beast this was seemed to have escaped him, but it was a given considering how readily reckless he was under the pretense of a demanding appetite. "Well....I'm a wizard from Fiore and um...I might be able to help you with this little problem..." he offered her a tipsy-looking grin, "If you don't mind outsiders helping, at the very least."
