    Job:
    Job Title: Missing stolen Jewelry
    Rank: C
    Player Requirements: N/A
Job Requirements: 2000 word minimum per character through entire thread.
    Job Location: Hargeon Town
Job Description: My beloved wifes jewelry was misplaced during a vacation to Hargeon town. Please find it for me.
After searching the town for a few posts it is possible to meet a street Urchin who will give you Intel on the whereabouts of said jewelry(roll 1 dice per person per post until you find a street urchin).  The street urchin will need a post or two of convincing to give you the information depending on how you go about getting the info.

Follow the advice to meet the boss, a pawnshop owner who is selling stolen goods. You however need to prove he’s selling stolen goods Continue arguing with the boss until you roll a boss in which you can find proof he’s selling stolen goods(roll 2 dice per person per post until a boss dice is rolled). Keep track of how many other dice results you get.

Afterwards a fight ensues and multiple punks and armed punks and even his street urchins will swarm the place in an all out brawl. Defeat the Pawnshop dealer and the low lives will scatter and you complete the mission. How many of each enemy appear are determined by the rolls you made during the argument and what appeared. So if after 3 posts total you rolled 3 weak, 2 strong, and 1 boss dice you will fight 3 punks, two street urchins, and the boss.
    Enemies:
    Weak:
Punk(D): nobodies not worth mentioning who are slow and uncoordinated. These low lifes have no skill in what they’re doing typically flail their fists around and are pretty easy to deal with. Can’t appear until the boss appears.
    Medium:
Armed Punk (D+): Punks with two by fours and metal pipes. Just as uncoordinated but pack a heavier punch then the punks. Can not appear until the boss appears.
    Strong:
Street Urchin (C): Low-lives who wander the streets of all cities and are particularly small, these guys are a great source of information if you can get your hands on one and convince them to give you information. Their honestly non-violent and aren’t stupid enough to take on mages but you’ll need to convince one to give you real information if you want to find the jewelry, which, in a city as big as Hargeon, would be a needle in a haystack. Aggravate one though and they may put a knife in your chest.
    Boss:
Pawnshop owner (C+): A shop owner who has been knowingly selling stolen goods. He carries a one handed mace as his weapon and is pretty good at using it although not as good as many would believe.

    Reward: 15,000 jewels

Halibel merrily skipped through the stoned street of Hargeon Town towards a rather fancy hotel. Today, she was tasked with finding a rather expensive necklace that a rich couple had lost during there a vacation. The whole concept of jewelry was alien to Halibel, and she usually avoided jobs were she didn’t get to hit something. However, this seemed to be the only available job for her, and the pay wasn’t half bad. After arriving at the hotel, Halibel noticed that a lot of the people going in and out of the building were giving her strange looks. They must be surprised to see a Holy Knight. She wasn’t far off actually. There in wondering what a girl dressed for combat would be doing at such a fine hotel.

Halibel approached the front desk to meet a rather elderly man filling out some paper work. “Hey mister.” The man put up a single finger as if to say ‘one moment’, and continued to fill out his forms. He was obviously very busy, but trivial things like that were not going to stop the knight. She said in a polite tone “Excuse me… Sir.” The man replied to her in a rather rude tone “Not now girl. I’m busy.” Halibel smiled before taking the fountain pen out of his hand and snapping it in two. The ink from the pen stained her armor clad hand and ruined the man’s report. Before he would even get a word out Halibel said to him “I want to know if you’ve seen these two.” In her unstained hand, she help up a picture of her clients. The man glared at Halibel and said to him “How dare you!” Shortly after he uttered those words, Halibel gave me a rather menacing glare. “Excuse me?” she said in a slightly more serious tone. The man began to sweat. Halibel smiled before saying “I just want know if they stayed here. They lost a necklace when they were on vacation.” In a slightly frighten tone the man awkwardly stated, “Oh that couple! Why didn’t you say so… Hehe… Um… There were here but the maids didn’t find anything in their room after they left…” Halibel sighed before walking out of the hotel while saying to the man “Thanks.” The clerk left out a sigh of relief before taking out another pen from his desk, and restarting he report.

Seeing as how the hotel had not useful information, she decided to check the fancy restaurant the clients ate at before they left. As Halibel made her way to the restaurant, she began to feel a bit uneasy. I’ve been in the town for more than half an hour and I haven’t cut anything. The combat addict was starting to go through combat withdrawal. In truth, it had been quite some time since Halibel had been on a job, almost as long since she had been in a fight. The urge to fight was starting to make her restless. Hopefully the neckless the couple lost was stolen by a criminal. That way Halibel could get into a justify fight.

After a few minutes of walking, the young knight arrived at the restaurant. She approached the host standing in the front lobby and opened her mouth ask him something. Before she could even get a word out, the man said to her “You need a reservation if you want to eat here dear.” He attitude seemed awfully familiar to Halibel. Ignoring his comment, she pulled out the photo of her clients and said to him “Was this couple here a few nights ago?” The man looked at the picture for a few seconds before looking down and flipping through his scheduling booking. “Last name… Sterling?” Halibel nodded her head as she said “Yeah.” That was the name of her clients. “Yeah… There had an 9:00 pm three days ago… Great tippers.” “They lost a neckless while on vacation. I was hired to find it. Any chance they lost it here?” The man paused for a minute to think before saying to Halibel “The waiters didn’t turn in any missing jewelry that night. And they tipped so well, I doubt there waiter would have stolen it.” Halibel frowned before saying to the name “Thanks…” She walked outside in frustration. She was annoyed by the fact that she was running into dead ends, and still hadn’t fought anyone.

Halibel was no longer skipping through the streets, as she was now genuinely irritated. When Halibel gets irritated, things don’t usually turn out good for anyone that decided they want to get on her bad side. I should seen if Rowan was going on a job. This is annoying. I’m a Holy Knight… I should be hunting demons, not looking for dumb jewelry. Halibel looked down at a list of placed the client wanted her to check. “Alright… Hotel, check. Restaurant, check. Spa...” Her facial expression had gone from cheerful, to bleak during the duration of this job up to now. She was official over it, and just about ready to quit. Ignoring the urger to give up on such a mundane job, she decided to go to the spa the couple visited during the trip here.

After dragging her metal clad feet through the street for a few minutes, she found the spa. Halibel walk into the spa and glared at the receptionist for a few seconds. The young female receptionist was instantly made comfortable by Halibel’s intense and lengthy stare. She began to sweat as she asked the young mage “U-Um… May I help you.” Halibel slowly walked up to her and slammed the picture her her clients on the counter. “Were these two here a few day’s ago?” She awkwardly smiled as she looked down at the picture and said to Halibel “Y-Yes… I think so.” Like a broken record, she said to the third person today, “They lost a necklace on there trip here… Have you seen it.” Much to Halibel’s expectations, the receptions replied “Um no… We would have tried to mail it to them if they did.” In a rather comical manner, she slammed her fist on the table and said out loud “Dammit!” The receptionist began to bow frantically at her while saying “I’m sorry!” Halibel didn’t even bother with a ‘thank you’ this time, and simply walked outside of the spa.

Halibel went to the center of town and sat down by a water fountain. She couldn’t find any leads as to were the necklace might be, and the frustration was starting to get to her. Halibel closed her eyes and put her hands together. It seemed like she decided to pray in the middle of town. “Please God… Let there be someone in this town that challenges me to a fight… I haven’t cut anyone down in such a long time I would really love it if you sent a bad guy my way. Amen.” She was like a child wishing for a Christmas present. The prayer seemed to work to calm her frustration and perk her up a bit. She stood up and decided to make her way through town to search a few places she think they might have went.

Halibel wandered around town aimless for almost an hour. She had been looking in places that the couple didn’t even report going, like taverns and markets. She went around asking a bunch of random civilians if they had seen the couple, or noticed the necklace anywhere, but no matter who she asked, she usually go the same answers. “Sorry, haven’t seen it.” After searching for the full hour, she decided it was time for her to get something to eat.

Halibel walked into a bakery and said to the man at the counter “Have you seen this couple around here?” She showed him a picture of her clients. “Sorry girly… Never seen them before.” Halibel sighed before say “Thought so… Can I have a strawberry cake to go?” The man already have a few pre-baked, so he took one out of a fridge and boxed it for her. He said to Halibel “Are you throwing a party or something?” She looked confused as to why he would ask that question. “No?” He scratched she head before handing the box over to Halibel, saying to her “Oh… It’s just that you ordered a whole cake… Going to save it for later I’m guessing.” Again, Halibel was confused by all this guy’s questions and just simple stated “No… This is my lunch.” The man looked surprised as Halibel walked outside with the box of cake in hand.

“Thank you Lord for this meal.” Halibel was sitting at a table in front of a cafe in town. In front of her was the whole cake she had just bought. It had been hours since she started looking for the couple necklace. It only make sense that she would take a break to eat after searching for so long. Halibel took out a fork, and began to eat large pieces of the cake at a time. Her facial expression as she chewed on the moist cake could only be descried as pure bliss. After a few minutes of eating, she had finished the enter cake on her own, and didn’t even seem to be full. “That was great!” A few people that were seating near her were apparently surprised at the fact that she finished it on her own. It was obvious they were all thinking the same thing. “Where does she put it all?”

Halibel stood up and stretched before saying to herself “Back to work!” Halibel walked towards a jewelry store had passed a few minutes ago. Maybe they would have some information on where the necklace was, or at least where someone would sell it if they stole it.

Halibel arrived at the jewelry store to find yet another prim and proper elderly man tending to the customers. It’s almost like it was a requirement to work at these kind of places. Halibel walked up to the man and said to him “Excuse sir. I wanted to know how much this necklace is.” Halibel showed him a picture of her clients, and pointed to the necklace around the female. The man look at it closely, and said to Halibel “I know this couple… And I know that necklace. They bought it here a few days ago about around 3 million jewels.” For the first time in a long time, Halibel was amazed by something other than herself “Th-Three million?” He replied “Yes I know… But they were so nice I had to give them a discount.” Halibel shook her head to snap out of her trance. “Wait… It actually costs more than that?” The man nodded and said, “Yes. Around 4.5 million.” It seemed like Halibel was being cheated, seeing as how she wants even getting payed a quarter of what this necklace cost to find it. But it was no wonder why they wanted a mage to find it though. “Thanks.” Halibel walked outside and began to walk around to question for people on the streets. With any luck, at least one person should know something about the necklace.

Halibel was once again walking through the city, trying come up with some kind of new leads as to where the missing necklace was. “Stupid rich people… Why can’t they just buy a new one…” Halibel crossed her arms as she walked through the city, lost in thought. After a walking for a while she noticed a rather shady looking character walking down an ally. “He looks suspicious enough…” Halibel walked closer and peaked around the ally. She witnessed the shady character talk to a few scary looking thugs. Halibel listened in on their conversation. “So what do you have for us”, said one of the thugs. The shady looking character put out his hand and said to them “Money first, info later.” They pulled out a wad of cash and handed it to the man. “Alright. A rich couple just left their home to go on vacation. No security. Lots of valuables. Here’s the address.” He reached into his pocket and handed them a folded piece of paper. One of the thugs looked it over before the group walked away. The shady street urchin walked in the opposite direction towards Halibel.

When he turned the corner, he met Halibel leaning on the wall with a smile on her face. Before he even had time to react, Halibel had already grab his shirt and pinned him against the wall. “Hey! Watch it!” People walking through the street would turn and look at the young female pining a slightly larger male on the wall. “You just gave those guys information on which house to rob.” The man struggled to break free from Halibel’s grip while saying “I’m an info broker! It’s what I do!” Halibel glared at the man, before saying to him “Mongrels like you disgust me… But maybe you can find some purpose for once in your life.” Halibel took out a picture of her clients. “Have you ever seen these two? Stole from them maybe?” The man looked at the picture and said “I don’t steal… And I’ve never seen those two… But that necklace the lady's wearing looks familiar.” Halibel pressed her fist into his chest. “Where?” He grunted in pain and before yelling “A guy paid me for some info on where to sell it. I told him that there’s only once person would have buy stolen goods.” Halibel pressed even tighter while saying to him “I asked where.” He screamed in pain before yelling “Down by the docks! It’s a pawnshop by the docks!” Halibel released them man and smiled at him. “Thanks.” The man ran away while yelling at Halibel “You’re freaking crazy!”

After getting information out of the street urchin via violence and intimidation, Halibel found herself standing in front of a shady looking pawnshop a block away from the fishing docks. She entered the building and saw a bunch of crappy looking merchandise on the walls and shelves. It was exactly what would have expect from such an establishment. Halibel walked up to an unmanned counter, and dinged the bell sitting on it. After about ten seconds of silence Halibel ding it again. No one came. She would have assumed no one was there if it weren’t for the fact that the front door was unlocked. Halibel began to repeatedly ring the door bell, hoping that someone would come out from the back. Good enough, a rather large and bulky middle aged man walked out of the back room and yelled at Halibel “STOP THAT!” Halibel dinged it one more time after he had yelled that. He looked even more annoyed than before, and Halibel seemed to be trying very hard to contain a laugh. The man walked behind the counter and took the off. He then said to Halibel, sounding rather annoyed “How may I help you… Girl.” Halibel smiled at him and said “First off, my name is not 'girl'. It's Halibel Akuma, strongest Holy Knight of Fiore.” The man stared at Halibel, expecting her to say something else. “Alright then… Anyway. My investigation into a missing necklace lead me to this pawnshop. I hear to sell stolen goods!~” Halibel’s tone was rather bubbly and playful. It contrasted with the pawnshop owners serious demeanor and deep speech tone. “I don’t have any stolen goods.” Halibel shook her head and said to him “Come on! Don’t be like that. You know, that I know, that you know you sell stolen goods. I’m might be cute, but I’m not stupid. I bet that back room you came out of is filled with a bunch of stuff that would get you arrested. Lucky for you, I don’t care about that right now. I just want to get a necklace I know you bought, and maybe kick your ass around a little for wasting my time.” The pawnshop owner pulled out a mace from underneath the counter and said to Halibel “I think it’s time for you to leave…”

“Oh? You dear raise your weapon to a Holy Knight, dog?” Halibel looked up at the pawnshop owner with a smug look on her face. Unlike Halibel homeland Minstrel, Fiore didn’t have a lot of Holy Knights, so through around that title didn’t really do much most of the time. “I’m not afraid to smack down a little girl.” Halibel’s smile grew wider before saying “I’m not afraid to put down a dog who’s bark is to big for his bite.” The pawnshop owner glared at Halibel. It seemed like he wasn’t threatened by her at all, but he didn’t want her to find any proof of his illegal business. “Tell you what. You let me look inside that back room you have there. If I’m wrong, and there’s not a pile of stole stuff, I’ll leave.” The brutes glare grew scarier before saying “What makes you think I have to listen to anything you say?” Halibel looked into the man’s eyes and said to him in a serious tone “Because I’ve been looking for this crap all day, and I’m really looking for someone to take out this frustration on.” The pawnshop owner was caught of guard by Halibel’s change in attitude. It seemed that she was more annoyed by this job than she had originally let on. She wasn’t even pretending to be calm anymore. It was very clear by the menacing expression she had on her face that she was beyond irritated.

Halibel glared at the bulky pawnshop owner who was holding a mace in his right hand. She said to him “Your choice… You either let me check the room, or beat you to the edge of death.” The man stared at Halibel for a while. It seemed that he has noticed Halibel wasn’t playing around. Feeling threatened by the girl half her size, he would have sword his mace at her while yelling “GET OUT HERE BOYS! WE HAVE TROUBLE!” Halibel jumped back, barely avoiding the mace. After the man have yelled out, three young man walked out of the back room. Two of them were armed with metal pipes. The unarmed one ran up to Halibel while saying “You picked the wrong people to mess with girly.” When he would within range, Halibel would have kicked up her right foot, hitting the boy in the jaw. He began to fall back, but before he could Halibel grabbed him by the shirt with one hand, and began to punch his face with her other armored fist. She did this with a straight look on her face, till the young man was bloody and knock out. The armor on Halibel right hand was stained with blood. The three other man looked in shock as the ‘Holy Knight’ mercilessly beat their comrade. The two armed thugs seemed to be shaking in fear. The owner said to them “What are you waiting for? Kill her!”

The two armed punks looked at each other before charging at Halibel at the same time. They began to swing their pipes at Halibel. It was clear by the way they fought, that they were pathetically untrained. Halibel walked backwards dodging and blocking every single attack they threw at her. After doing that for a few seconds she saw a clean opening to attack. She would have kicked one of the punks in the shin, causing him to fall down to the floor. Almost directly after, Halibel punched the other one in the face causing him to fall back. He grabbed his bleeding nose and said “This chick is crazy!” Halibel walked up to the one that had his shin kicked and kicked his head into the corner of a near by shelf, knocking him out. She then turned her head to the other and said to him “Leave.” Without a delay, he stood up and ran out the front door. Halibel then turned towards the pawnshop owner who was now walking towards Halibel.

“Think of this as your penance, mongrel. You’re lucky to be facing this Holy Knight in battle.” Halibel was smiling again. It seemed that taking out the lightweight was enough to put her in a good mood again. The pawnshop own ran up to Halibel with his mace raise up while saying to her “He was right! You are crazy!” When he was within range, she violently swung his mace at Halibel. It seemed he was better than his henchmen when if came to combat, however it was still very apparent that he was untrained. Halibel avoided the swing by a hair. Before giving him a chance to swing again, Halibel punched him in his gut. He grabbed his stomach in pain and said to Halibel “Who the hell are you!” As he said that he swung his mace at Halibel once again. This time, she used her armored forearm to block the attack. Halibel overestimated the strength of her armor though. It seemed that the mace was able to easily piece her armor and cut the skin underneath. She completely ignored the pain, and the wound all together. The a mace stuck in her right hand, she said to the pawnshop owner “I told you… I’m Halibel Akuma. Strongest Holy Knight in Fiore.” With that statement said, she used her free hand to lunch and full powered punch at the mans face. He was knocked back a few inches from the punch. With delayed, Halibel kicked her foot into his growing, ending the match. He grabbed his growing and kneeled down on the ground in immense pain. “Damn…You.”

With the pawnshop owner incapacitated, Halibel was free to look through the shop for the stolen necklace. She walked into the backroom and found a bunch of money and stolen jewelry laying on a table. Halibel walked up the the table and began to shift through the jewelry, completely ignoring anything that didn’t look that the stolen necklace. After a few minutes of shifting she finally found the one she was looking for. “Finally! I found it! I can go home!” The look on Halibel’s face was that of pure bliss. Seeing all her hard work turn up results really made her happy. Halibel put the necklace in her pocket and walked out of the pawnshop. She then made her way back to mountain village to return the stolen necklace to her clients.
