    Stage One

Once upon a time, a child known as "Chrono" was brought to life. His mother, Aki, with the help of Chrono's father, Mizael, gave birth to the boy in Desierto; the land of which Chrono would eventually manipulate to form his variant of ancestral magic. The boy was born in the wealthiest of cities between three in the kingdom of the burning sun! Aki worked as a doctor for the Sultans of Desierto, while Mizael assisted the tri-council. Together, Aki and Mizael earned millions of jewels, which they always spent in gratitude alongside their only child. However, it was due to their riches that one of unfathomable strength managed to track down such a thoughtful duo. During the day, they would support their boy, gradually supporting his knowledge of the world and himself, improving his physique, and expanding Chrono's own experiences and imagination of the outdoors. On the contrary, during the night, Aki and Mizael had to work, meaning others parenting the boy, instead. Until the age of four, this was a continuous pattern.

    Stage Two

Once the day after Chrono's fourth birthday arrived, Aki and Mizael decided it was time to educate their son - homeschooling, in other words. The two had enough in their banks to quit their jobs, and assist Chrono whenever they pleased. Chrono would be seated in the family's living room for at least eight hours a day - nourishment provided - to learn four different subjects. Each year, the particular four subjects were traded off for another four - all until age sixteen. Aki nor Mizael were both absent of any siblings and were orphans as kids, so there was never anyone else to occupy Chrono's day once the former parenting assistants were let go. Not a single one of these subjects were related to magic, by the way, as that was the subject Aki and Mizael wanted to teach Chrono at sixteen years of age. With a total of 48 different subjects learned by the age of sixteen, Chrono was definitely eligible to learn such a thing, no matter what anyone else thought.

    The 49th Subject

The first display of magical essence from Chrono were not spells, for the record, but rather unique abilities innovated from the ancestral magic. Even Chrono's parents knew nothing about how Sand Magic started, thus even today, Chrono would be incapable of telling a single detail regarding how Sand Magic was used prior to his parents' generation. Aki and Mizael found that Chrono's magic assured safety. Never did Chrono's magic involve a lot of movement, but rather the magic did the movements for him. Aki and Mizael trained Chrono individually; Aki during the day, and Mizael during the night. The two came up with this routine as it would be best for Aki, a defensive wizard, to test offensive maneuvers when the day was most clear, while it would be a true test for Chrono to avoid movements from an offensive wizard during the night. Aki's form of Sand Magic also involved limited movement, though the way she constructed her sand attempted to encase the enemy an extremely rapid pace, whether the target would be distant or nearby. Between the mother and father, Chrono performed better against his mother. His likeliness of avoiding Aki's techniques were always low, but compared to Mizael, Chrono managed to block attacks more often from his mother than his father.

Chrono never stood a chance against his father, even while his father had to limit his strength for the test. The skillful adult was far too quick and stealthy for Chrono's eyes to catch, thus the only goal Chrono could set was to make a scratch upon his father. Luckily, Chrono learned from his mistakes enough to utilize a technique that could even catch his father. Another set of eyes were guaranteed to help, after all, which was exactly what Chrono made in response to his father's tests. With this, not only did Chrono manage to land scratches on his father, but a spell or two, as well. Again, Chrono never won against his father nor his mother, but knowing that there was hope to surpass both wizards left a smile on the boy's face. Chrono would go through this process for nine consecutive years until a strange encounter.

    The Encounter

One night, Chrono decided to leave home in order to discover the world alone. His life always involved his parents, so for just a few months - or so Chrono planned - the boy decided he would travel Desierto and see everything it had to offer. However, on the first night of his adventure, Chrono came across an unbelievably powerful wizard. His essence was dark, while his mere presence already inflicted fatal wounds onto Chrono's body. To rid of this, Chrono chose to initiate a fight with this wizard, but lost in a millisecond. This wizard was not only powerful, but possessed several forms of magic, as well as an arsenal of magic tools. Chrono was slowly losing consciousness during this single night before the wizard infected him with two curses. The first curse made Chrono lose all memories of the wizard's identity; the second left Chrono unable to mature or age. Chrono was later found by his parents, who took him in permanently, and until their death, assured Chrono was always within their watch. However, it was inevitable for their objective to last forever, as Chrono's parents eventually passed away. Though quite unfortunate, both Aki and Mizael had the power to reform their own souls into sand, which upon their deaths, combined with Chrono's own soul.

Without his parents' aid, absent of a passport, from this point onward, Chrono was an illegal citizen of Desierto, and was therefore thrown out. The quickest forms of travel known to wizardry migrated Chrono from Desierto to an area close to a residence that would, in the long run, would become a house within the same territory as Chrono's current guild, Infinity Hydra. Filled with years of training, physique that will never change, and a mind that will only improve, the tale of Chrono Libra now begins!
