The camera would slide over to a man sitting up in a bed, with death in his eyes, or so it seemed. For one weird reason or another, Ultra had managed to wake up before the alarm clock even rung, only to have it go off literally a minute later. It was one annoying clock, but for all it's worth, it was effective as hell in getting Ultra awake. The damn thing of course wasn't going to turn itself off, so the man opted to throw a shoe that was sitting next to his bed right at it, knocking it off the table.

"That should do it for a while," Ultra would say before finding his remote right under him. Turning on his television, it immediately came to a particular commercial. It was of a man who had a full head of grey hair holding some type of weird device in his hand, explaining just what the hell it was. From what Ultra could gather, it was a communications Lacrima which was purported to be way, way ahead of its time.

The device looked like an Apple iPhone 5C, in real-life terms.

The man would go on to talk about how the first one thousand customers who came to his factory today would get one of these Lacrimas, absolutely free. Ultra would afterwards look at his own communication lacrima and feel the huge crack in its screen that sometimes prevented him from seeing people clearly.

"I think I'll be getting a new phone then," he would say as he put on his sneakers, and a black sweater, before leaving the sorry excuse of an apartment that he lived in. The old man on the television screen had said something about his factory being somewhere in Neutral Grounds, and Ultra decided that he really wasn't going to walk there, so taking out a worn-out wallet, he would use the little cash he has(believe it or not, he has to pay rent) and spend it on a two-way ticket to and from the damn place.

Needless to say, this wasn't going to be the very best train ride, considering how many people are on the train at this time. Yet somehow, someway, Ultra managed to fall asleep on there, so that the three-hour train ride seemed more like fifteen minutes. His being able to sleep can be partially attributed to the heat of all the passengers on the bus, which was really nasty if you thought about it.

It wasn't until Ultra got off the train that he noticed the steady stream of drool escaping his mouth. Indiscreetly wiping his mouth, he started to make his way into the streets, where the place seemed to be chock full of people. Probably the new iLac craze, Ultra thought as he looked for the factory with a giant pear logo on the top of it.

Turns out it stuck out like a sore thumb, because not only were there hundreds of people in line starting at the entrance, but there was a giant pear at the top of the building, spinning around.

"Looks like this is the place," Ultra would say before getting in line for what would be the longest hour of his life. Turns out the factory wasn't exactly open yet, and people were starting to try to break in, fight each other, you name it. When the factory did open however, it looked like something straight out of a Walmart on Black Friday. People were trampling each other, stealing the phones, and beating the living hell out of each other.

Ultra decided that the best strategy would be to keep low, so he decided to crouch down. It didn't make things all too better, considering that he was now being stomped on and jumped over. It wasn't until he saw a box with a pear logo on it that he saw his salvation. Ultra would literally swim through the huge crowd, and palm-crush the box, before abruptly standing up and making his way out of the place, all the while trying to hide the box.

When he did get out though, he noticed that not only were both his shoes missing, but he lost his sweater along with the shirt under it. Realizing that he was half naked in a city, he would run for his life into an alleyway.

"If getting a phone is gonna be that hard.....damn." He had no more words to describe the moment.
