Important Rise from the Ashes // Guild Event

Post by Savage Skull 10th December 2015, 2:28 pm

♚ 'Cause we could be immortals,
just not for long, for long.

I must admit it, Colonel, you're quite a master when it comes to battle strategies.

The solemn, feminine voice filled the silent night, causing nearby animals to flee in fear. Between the tall trees stood two figures, barely noticeable in the absolute darkness, their figure indicating that one of them, was, indeed, a female, and the other one; a male. Both standing perfectly still, barely moving an inch, their arms crossed over their chest, both figures kept their eyes on the sinister, tall building standing tall at at least 50 meters from them. Surrounded by silence and death as always, the Savage Skull Guild Hall was a spectacular view. In both the good, and the bad way. Always so sinister, silent, with the unmistakeable air of death and desperation around it, the Savage Skull Guildhall was quite a masterpiece as a piece of architecture... Or it had been in its first years. Now it seemed far too old on the outside, like the castle of the bad guy from those medieval fairy tales everyone adored. The sinister look only contributed to the overall sense of dread coming from the building that pushed away unwanted visitors; but those two stood tall, fearless before the fortress of the enemy.

If you took a closer look at the two characters sitting on the hill, observing the Savage Skull fortress from afar, the details about them would soon come into view of whoever was interested in them. The female figure, or well, the woman, was short and slim, not muscular at all. Her hair was blonde, nearly platinum, skin pale, her eyes electric blue. One could easily confuse the poor girl with a teenager, one of those sloppy girls that spent hours painting her nails and talking about guys. But, once you saw the armor she wore, and the emblem of Brigadier General, there was no doubt at all, that this girl was unlike the others. The man next to her, however, was the stereotypical warrior, a killing machine. Tall, muscular, with a face covered in scars from battles, a sword in his hand, this guy was exactly the type of man we'd all imagine when we were kids and heard the mention of a Knight. It was funny, though, how the petite creature next to him, that seemed nowhere near a Knight, was his supperior, and he, the walking definition of a Knight, was simple Colonel. However, in one thing, they were similar. The expressions on their faces showed nothing more than repulsion and hate at the sight of the fortress of the enemy, seriousness erasing all emotion from their faces, except for the aforementioned ones. Those two were, without doubt, not to be laughed at.

Thank Shikamaru, Ma'am. He got all the information we needed. I'm genuinely surprised, though, that the Savage Skull leader did not notice that there was a rat in her guild all along, since the very second she got on the throne. I guess the rumors are right, the guild may be falling apart, at last. Hence why, we must act.

A small smile spread on the female's lips. To find something funny in your rival's unstability , you had to be rather twisted, although in war everything was permitted and forgiven. Yet... The Brigadier General was not the type of woman that would laugh at her rival's unstable situation. In fact, she enjoyed a battle more, when her enemies were at their best. After all, a fall hurts more if it is from high above. It would hurt someone to become nothing when he had everything, to become a mere pesant when he was the king of the world. Easy prey were no fun. I'd rather not underestimate Savage Skull, Colonel. Through the years, we have withnessed what they are capable of. Albeit they have had some crucial defeats, Savage Skull has proven to the Magic Council that when it comes to battle, they are Masters of the art of War. And their leader, the blondie... She's young. But not naïve. You've heard the stories. She's an artificial human, Colonel. A being supperior to a normal human. Do they have weak spots? We don't know. They are almost divine, that we know. And she, despite the fact that she is young, has proven that she is worthy many many times.

The Colonel could barely believe that the Brigadier General thought that a brat like Janneline Ariel could possibly defend her guild. She was clumsy, and she had been taught to be a Knight, not a Queen. Those who were taught to exceed in the battlefield often were useless in office matters, like leading a Guild. What he didn't think of, though, was that a person should not be judged by his or her education or appearance. Many thought that Harrigan would be useless on the battlefield too. He was the perfect Guild Master, he knew how to lead a guild to the perfection, and therefore nobody believed it when he caused massive bloodbaths on the battlefield. Same went for Janna. And for every Savage Skull member. Because even the members in the Guild, that appeared innocent lambs, could be the most ferocious wolves to ever exist. Never, ever should one go against a Guild full of people, that had been taught by life that if you want to survive or get what you want, you need to kill. To be merciless. People who had lost their soul, their mercy, their consciousness, way down the road. Ma'am, she's been taught to exceed in the Battlefield, not in the office. If she wasn't a master in hiding her emotions and problems, it'd be perfectly obvious that she is uncapable of leading a Guild like Savage Skull. She's more than confused now, as she went on from being a Miss Nobody to a Guild Master. We must take advantage of this confusion before she becomes the new Harrigan, and learnes how to lead the Guild. I fear that then, we may as well be doomed. Every time that Savage Skull has had a decent leader, disasters have happened through Fiore. A beastly leader combined with the insane firepower of the Savage Skull members is quite scary.

That's the problem, Colonel. She is a Knight. She knows how to hold her own on the battlefield. You know, it's funny. It's easy to learn how to lead a Guild. I admit you must have a knack for it, but as long as you learn the basics you're fine. For the most part. But... Not everyone can learn to hold his own on the battlefield. You see, a Sovereign who has been taught to deal with the political questions of his lands will not charge in battle and protect his men. Those are the cowardly kings. But... A sovereign that has spent his, or in this case, her life learning how to be a warrior, and exceed at that, will not doubt in charging in to protect her men. And there's where our problem starts. And this is why we must neutralize her first. The Colonel had no words to respond to the mini monologue that the Brigadier General had just given. With a sigh, he placed his hand on the sword, glancing behind him as if to check if someone was behind his back, trying to stab him. Call it force of habit, being on the field for too much time made you way too cautious. Although that often was what saved your poor life. The Brigadier General didn't trigger too much in noticing the impatience of the Colonel, and a small smile spread on her lips. The Colonel could be a master in battle strategy, but... He enjoyed the battle itself more. Similar to the Brigadier General. Oh well. There was nothing comparable to the thrill of the battle. Absolutely nothing.

    So, why wait anymore.

A small signal, the raise of a blade, caused a tremenduous sound to resonate through the woods, scaring all wild animals that had been walking around patiently. The ever-lasting silence around Savage Skull was for once interrupted, as hundreds of Rune Knights headed towards the grand Guild Hall, willing to burn the place down once and for all. Meanwhile, the Brigadier General allowed the Colonel to follow his troops and she remained on the hill, watching the scene from afar. She wouldn't stay away for too much. She just wanted the little blondie and her pets to appear, so she could get in action.

Alright, guys. This is it. The beginning of everything. All those people who signed up for the event will have the chance to post from now on in this topic, you can reply as you see fit. The post order will be established depending on how the first round goes. If Dubhlainn posts first this round, and Thorn follows him, then the next round Dubhlainn will be the first to post after the NPC (aka this account), Thorn will follow him, and so forth. In order to assure that the event will go on smoothly, and won't die off, everyone has 24h to post. If you fail to post, you will have to wait until the next round to post again. Each time you fail to post, you get a strike. At three strikes, you're out of the event. The number of strikes is reset every time you post in the time limit established, but, that doesn't mean I can't kick you out if you periodically skip posting, and post like, 2 times in the event. But, let's just have fun, alright? I'll jump in with Janna by the end of the event, which will be when one of those two characters we just met in the post above will appear. Those two characters are the NPCs thought by me, and their rank, magic, etc, is decided by me. The Colonel can be fought now, as he's on the battlefield, but... I don't recommend it unless you're A Rank or you're in a team. The Brigadier General isn't in battle at the moment, so she can't be fought. Plus, you don't know where she is, so just let her be a silent spectator until the end too. By the way, the icon of the girl in my post template is, in fact, our beloved Brigadier General. Now I shall stop talking because I'm going overboard.

Any further news will be posted in my following posts. And now, let the games begin, and may the odds be ever in our favor.

    Mediocrity of the Rune Knights

A few years ago... I was nothing more than a tool of war, who only lived to fight and to smite enemies of my flag. It was a never ending battle and there was never a dull moment, blood always stained these hands. However all of that seemed to have ended when Lord Crawford took me in.He belonged to a faction against the government that runs this country, I was given a chance to serve him and his niece in peace as their personal butler. Life seemed pretty good as I partaken in numerous jobs that would aid in the comfort of the Guild members, supplying them with food from the capital and handling tasks that would involve going to Era and other places where Dark Mages dare not go.

Of all the Azeron soldiers, I was the closest shadow to the light. I hid my guild mark and trained with the Rune Knights for weeks. The jobs I have taken were in fact jobs that don't even bring about the essence of a Dark Mage. Even if they did find out, there is no good reason for them to arrest me for I did nothing wrong during the peaceful days.

Nobody in the Azeron Alliance knew of this and if they did, they might consider me as a potential traitor. Nobody in the Rune Knights that I train with knew I was an Azeron soldier but if they knew that I am.. would it still be the same?

I have heard from Thorn about the guild's history and its seems Savage Skull was but once a powerful guild that would have far exceeded both Tartarus and Basilik Fang but now what remains is a shadow, nothing but a shadow of its former glory and that itself is a curse bestowed on the guild. It slumbered for years, strength wanes as the sands of time come to pass.

A new seat has been taken, Janneline has been crowned the new Guildmaster and I have yet to recognize her as such. Others have already looked up to her like a goddess but to me she's just but a homonculus who recently earned the said title.

I have spent the last few hours cleaning up the penthouse where Lady Aedre used to reside after her departure to lands unknown and now I am left without a proper master.

I am now a knight with no lord to call my own.

Up to this very day I continue to serve Savage Skull awaiting for the Crawfords return, the people who I am in debt with. This fine hour is an hour of rest as I sat idle in my personal quarters tending to the small puppy that I'm nurturing while continuing to read the book Charlotte. Well at least its better than being in war all the time.

By the sound of the horn coming from the marsh... I knew I spoke to soon. I ignored the first few seconds but soon afterwards Mikomi's men rushed in to give their report, warning everyone of the impending attack of the Rune Knights.

Who in the right mind would even issue such an order to attack Savage Skull? Its not been a week since the guildmaster's crowning and we are already under siege. I caged the little pet that I have and closed the book that I'm reading and head straight towards the walls.

"Prepare the Harpoons Lieutenant... position the Vanguard by the doors."

No matter how much I run.. war follows me everywhere..

Thorn was resting on her normal mantel the flowers there bloomed with the tender care she gave them it was her down time no job had toke her fancy and it jad been so long since she tended to her flower. Thorn had finally become one with the plant life in the area so when they plants outside start to sound alarmed thorn jumped from her resting place an stepped out the doors, all the plant life was in panic screaming in thorn head about people not far away. They where all talking at once it was hard to understand but Thorn did hear a name and they said he was a spy Shik Shik something "carm down I can't understand you when your so wound up" thorn said softly learning down.

"their coming and not in small numbers" all the plants screamed at thorn all at once corseing her to go back slightly, this motion was a good thing it assisted thorn in turning and rush back into the guild if she could warn the guild master in time there surprise would be out the window.

Thorn started to run through the halls trying to get to the masters quarters, thorn skidded infrount of the guild masters study and had her hand raised to knock when the alarm from outside rang "crap bot enough time!" she swore under her breath. Thorn wrapped on the door as loud as she could and waited for a few moments if she did not have a reply thorn would just go and and find the others ready themselves to defend their guild their home.

"What if we were to alleviate the differential between the divine blood matrix sequencers and the demonic ichor inducers with a polymorphic compound?" suggested the silver-haired man as he sat at his desk looking over a series of blueprints and schematics, the room empty save for himself. Physically at least.

"If that were the case then you'd need to bypass the lacrima pattern buffers with a tectonic capacitor array here and here." said another voice, this one belonging to the Dark Celestial Spirit of Pride that resided within his body and mind. Za'cha shook his head. "Then that would short out the armour and cause it to destablise far more quickly than we'd like. I'd barely get ten minutes of use out of the damn thing if we went that route." he sighed, rubbing the bridge of his nose.

Another voice interrupted the discussion. "Gentlemen, I believe we've got some company calling... I can feel death on the ethereal plane." said the Spirit that resided within the Apocalypse Rider of Death's own Scythe. Both Pride and Za'cha looked towards Tessa before the host for the three of them swiftly activated a lacrima to get a proper look at the situation, frowning at the sight of the army coming towards them.

"Well that's a problem. How'd that many Rune Knights get up here without being detected?" he grumbled, rubbing his chin in thought as he recognised the sigils they carried on them so boldly. He sighed before he rolled up his plans and shoved them back into the pocket dimension he utilised as an Ex-Quip magus. "Well, nothing for it I guess. Time to go greet our guests and see what they want." said Za'cha as he gathered up his cloak and left his chambers, seeing Thorn running around the place knocking on doors and gathering up what remained of Savage Skull.

He gave the woman a nod before he began to make his way towards the main entrance hall, his mind already going over his various options for weapons and armour combinations that would work the best in this en masse situation, one option not so subtly whispering in his ear. "If the situation calls for such a measure Tess, have no fear, you'll get a chance to play. But for now, I doubt it will come to that. These fools have come to our house, and here we make the rules." he said to the Spirit of the Scythe, smirking at her playful pout she shot at him.

Quickly and firm. So was every step Viktor took through the hall, the moment the large bells were being run to alert every dark mage in the guild of the imminent danger that approached them. Which was strange a strange occurrence as those very bells, never have been heard before. Not once in Viktors life time, and maybe not even before that. Yet somehow he knew instinctively that something was wrong the moment their sound bellowed through the very foundations of the ominous dark guild.

As he treaded forwards through the guild, he slowly started to pick up on the treat beyond their gates. As fellow mages and soldiers awoken from their slumbering of daily life and hastened towards the main hall. From their brief conversations and shouts, Viktor slowly came to understand that their enemy was the very one that they had been challenging all this time. Namely the Rune Knights, the large law enforcement in service of the Magic Council. And the enemy of all the dark guilds out there.

However despite the danger that lurked over their heads, Viktor couldn't help but to find a rather hilarious thought entering his head. All this time, the guild that always seemed to be empty, was suddenly filled with people on high alert. Skipping away from the safety of the shadows, all to serve under the call of arms from their master. Yet none of them showed any fear, no it was almost that many of the mages and soldiers were smiling. Maybe it was some sort of childish happiness knowing that they were about to fight, that they could slaughter to their hearts content. Even if it was them that were under attack.

As he progressed through the dark corridors, some of the men started to notice the old man, who served as a household butler of the guild. Some were surprised, others smiled even more as they saw him. But while most eventually stepped aside, when they saw him pass.

The reason for this was not that he was fairly strong, because he wasn't. Nor that he had gained so much respect by being of old age and servitude. No as he stepped out of the shadows and treaded into the main hall of the guild. It slowly revealed, the very large entities walking behind him. Following his every step. Fenrir and Skoll, the Primordial Garm. Presumably the strongest of all the Garm, had resurfaced from the dark undercrofts of the call. To abide to the beckoning of a guild in danger.

♚ 'Cause we could be immortals,
just not for long, for long.
Savage Skull wasn't a guild of dim-wits, so, as soon as the troops began marching forth towards the majestic, yet dismal fortress which served as the home of the psychopaths and sociopaths that dared oppose the idiology of the Magic Council, and desired to take over Fiore and impose their tyrany. It was time to end the war Savage Skull had declared the day they were born. End the violence with more violence. Obviously, the members of the guild would be imprisoned; the lower-ranked ones would be closed in jail and forced to spit out all of the secrets of their guild; the important ones, the aces, would be condemned to spend their lives in either a Fiorean jail, revealing all the conspirations between the dark guilds, since the more important members tended to know what was going on between the guilds. Lower ranked ones were useless in that matter, but the aces? They knew what was up, unless the Guild Master had trouble trusting people. Oh... And the Guild master. The little blonde bitch that led Savage Skull currently, was going to be executed publicly.

Watching the scene develop beneath her, the Brigadier General crossed her arms over her chest, as she watched the army divide in many groups, all of which were going to attack a certain side of the fortress, following a certain objective. Hundreds of soldiers formed the first group, which was heading right towards the entrance of the Savage Skull Guildhall, willing to attack their members and distract them from the other groups. Another group was going to surround the fortress and attempt to bring it down, reducing the defenses of the Savages significantly, leaving them without their home. And yet another group of hundreds of Rune Knights was going to enter the fortress through every possible entrance, and attempt to gather everything important; scrolls filled with Savage Skull's history, artifacts, books, pictures, anything of value was to be gathered.

    The plan was perfect.

The Savages were, quite indeed, opposing themselves to the invasion. The Colonel had not thought otherwise. The absence of their guildmaster was quite evident, so that made him wonder where was she, but, at any rate, it didn't matter right now. They'd capture her sooner or later, she'd come out of her hideout to protect her soldiers in battle. And that'd be her greatest error. For now, the Colonel would have to sedate his bloodlust with the petty psychopaths that resided in the fortress before him. Mere seconds upon the troops' invasion, the members of the guild began reacting in different ways to the attack, some with surprise, others calmly, yet all of them rose and prepared for battle without hesitation. As the members slowly began pouring out all their defenses on the arena, a dark smile spreading on his lips. Hand placed on the handle of his sword, the Colonel observed his opponents with a certain air of supperiority around him, his grip tightening around the handle of the sword.

It appears that the Savage Skull members are slower than I thought. Come on, even an old lady would have reacted faster than you lot! Are those the greatest villains of our time? No wonder good always prevails! The colonel was consciously mocking them. He wanted to enrage them. Make them lose their mind and go insane... Although most of them already were. Then, glancing back towards the man that he was in charge of, the simple sight of a hundred men behind him was enough to encourage him to pronounce the following words:

    For Fiore, to Battle!

And that was when all hell was unleashed.

Sorry for the delay, everyone, exams got in the way. Anyways! The battle has begun. Rune Knights versus Savage Skull. Who will be victorious? In summary; there are at least three different groups of at least a hundred of Rune Knights that are a)trying to attack from the front ; b)trying to steal valuable artifacts/info or c)trying to blow our building. You decide what group you want to take on, and how many Rune Knights you want to take on. My next post as Savage Skull will be divided into different sections, each section for a specific character, a reply to what they did. As if it was PvP, or like in the Priory event. Anyways, good luck and have fun anyone! Below, I will put the post order. If anyone fails to post in a set amount of hours, they will be skipped. Now, off to battle, my dear savages!

Rise from the Ashes // Guild Event Ae2a596e6c93e87fc510d690879f9e8a

    Mediocrity of the Rune Knights

The Rune Knights outnumbers Savage Skull in almost 10 to 1, the security in the fortress has been spread too thin due to the fact that Savage Skull keeps on consuming their own and it seems Era has enforced a whole division and a task force to lay siege, if evacuations were in order the only place to run to is down the Catacombs, however it’s possible that the Rune Knights were aware of this. And now Dubhlainn is left with a trial of his own, to either unmask the power he had long suppressed and cull them all down to size? Or will he treat this as one of the real trials of the battle born, to fight and to face an enemy force not as a magus but a man willing to fight and die under his flag.

His thoughts ran through him like a train thinking whether he should go outside and face the enemy head on or prioritize on the possible breaches into the dominion. Perhaps Thorn would suffice, after all she’s a woman not just for show, her magic allows her to generate a force which is an army strong and perhaps maybe just maybe she can turn things around after all, she’s more than what meets the eye, there’s also Za’cha a man who’s well versed with the sword as he is, a follower of death himself much like Cruach who wields and leads with an iron fist.

Let us not forget the sudden appearance of the Savage Skull Butler Viktor and the return of the twin dogs that he never even heard off but now had come to witness, when Viktor himself says that he shall resume “cleaning duties” he means it, there was a reason why he earned the title of Savage Skull’s butler, there was just one question that comes to mind:

Isn’t he too old of a man to fight?
Now Dubhlainn has to think what he should do then.

Somewhere in the Neutral Grounds, Dubhlainn met “Him” just on a whim, a long old friend of his captain or perhaps a guardian to say the least. The first order of business in their meeting was finding a suitable place to drink, they both spent gossiping over recent events especially  that of the Priory which was the most recent.

    Dubhlainn had to ask:

“Old man, why have you decided to quit becoming the researcher of the Magic Council, you could have made a name for yourself there and also protected yourself from your enemies.”

“True Dubhlainn you do have a point, however I only worked for the council for the sake of building financial resources but you know how corrupted some government bodies can be, their laws aren’t perfect, their plans aren’t perfect and whatever theories they believe in, they contradict to it.”

“So does this make you an enemy of the council then?”

“No I certainly am not the enemy of the state, I already have my fair share of enemies, I do not want an entire country chasing after my tail, and however Earthland had too many possibilities for me to even leave it so much mystery so much to discover.”

“As expected from a crazed man who follows his own philosophies…”

“Dubhlainn, you are aware that Era holds a library containing information about every supernatural thing that happens in Earthland right?”

    “What about it?”

“Let’s just say that we have a lot of… curious councilmen who would dive to prove the knowledge they accumulated for themselves, curiosity is humanity’s natural trait but it can also be the very thing that might kill them one day. Heck it took all the nine lives of a cat.”

    “What’s your point?”

“They would use it… for their own purposes.”

If his words were true then perhaps there was a reason why the division of Rune Knights would lay siege on savage skull, perhaps the destruction of the members and the hierarchy is just an excuse. What is it that they are really after? There is no way the Rune Knights would march from home and into the marsh just for a skirmish and when it comes to these things there’s always a catch.

As enemies and those who keep “the peace” they are not savages who’d deliver destruction but rather instead of complete obliteration, it’s pillage.

Just hope for once Dubhlainn would be wrong about this.

His men are in position, on top the walls manning harpoon guns as the archers would line up and take aim. There wasn’t even an arranged negotiation between representatives and if so then this attack isn’t an authorized attack by the council. This is not treated as a war but an act of war crime.

“Sir, they started their attack” Said one of his men who are armed with a crossbow of his own.

“Very good, advice Thorn not to leave the fortress and have the vanguard assist Za’cha immediately, we shall not follow our formation, as of now we might even become predictable to our enemies.”

“What do you suggest we do?” Asked the soldier.

“Regardless of the course of action Za’cha would make, follow his commands, make haste soldier, you and I have duties to fulfill.” Dubhlainn grabbed a long case and his sheathed sword and started descending down the catacombs.

“Sir what if Lady Thorn refuses to do so?” The doors of the catacombs began to open as Dubhlainn took the first few steps down.

“Then there’s nothing more than I can do soldier, have the rest set up at the courtyard, shut the catacomb doors, I shall defend this place.. myself.” The doors that leads to the entrance of the catacombs began to close.

There were approximately 8 passages to the savage skull catacombs from the outside, all were rigged with traps that Sinali herself left behind. Should the Rune Knights succeed to avoid being eviscerated by all those traps and enter the chambers where Dubhlainn is in, they would have flanked the forces of Savage Skull from within their base and overrun the entire fortress and as the Captain of the guards, this is his duty, to prevent unwanted visitors from entering the citadel through conventional means.

Because of the lack of manpower, most forces were requisitioned by the walls and with the mages which leaves Dubhlainn to only defend the catacombs himself. There used to be a small crew guarding all entrances to the Catacombs around here, however if they still persist then this is the day that they all perish as the Rune Knights would have long swept them up from underneath their noses, leaving all entrances unguarded.

Dubhlainn hid the long case in a specific spot and stood in front of the chambers, standing and waiting for his enemies to come…

Thorn shook her head she had gathered as many as she could the guild master no where to be found, Thorn turned and started to run to the hall finding Za'cha and stood next to him "cant find everyone so this will have to do!" she stated taking her staff form her back

when she was approached by a grunt of Dubhlainn's "Lady thorn please stay in the walls of the guild!" he stammered. thorn was very confused shaking her head "why would i do that this is my home i will defend it." she stated moving to the door thorn and concentrated for a moment roots moved a few hundred feet away blocking the path for the rune knights.

Thorn then turned a smirk on her lips "let us spill the intruders blood!" she stated a crewel laugh flowed through her lips.

    Post by Za'cha 12th February 2016, 6:08 pm

Za'cha's eyes cast themselves across the battlefield that was to come, checking on the lacrima he'd had installed for sentry purposes, nodding slowly. "They're encircling us, trying to locate any and all possible entrances, whilst they've got a large force marching towards the front gate." he mused, finding himself in agreement with the tactics, espying Viktor with the Primordial Garm at his back. The white haired dark magus smirked at the presence of these titanic beasts, and in particular what it meant.

He looked to the mages gathered before him, and with a roll of his shoulders decided to address the Rune Knight outside that was being so loud and obnoxious. A flick of a lacrima and his voice was projected across the halls and immediate area. "Slow to rise? Only because this measly force of "good" does not even register as a real threat to us." he said, goading the Rune Knights. "You may have superior numbers, but that is the only aspect in which you are superior to us... no wait, I tell a lie. You have one other quality that you are superior to us in... you are much better at dying." he said, the smirk in his voice evident in his tone.

"You desire a war oh captain of the Rune Knights? I'm afraid you won't be having one. This will be merely pest control for us! Didn't your mother ever teach you to not go down into the woods? The big bad wolf's coming for you~" he said, ending the transmission from his side of it, regarding the gathered throng of dark mages. "Well ladies, gentlemen, and those who fit neither category. Let's go greet our guests in an appropriate fashion." he said before looking to Viktor.

"Get the Garm to eradicate those trying to find any entrances into our domain apart from the front door, if they would be so kind. Once the ants biting at our heels are disposed of, they are more than welcome to join in the slaughter of the main force." requested the silver-haired magus before he regarded the rest. "All the heavy armoured and brawlers to the front lines, meet their advance into our gates like you are the scythe to their wheat, stalling and pressing through their front." Za'cha ordered, Pride giving him some tips here and there from his millennia of experience.

"I want our ranged specialists taking up their positions immediately and rain death upon their center. Assassin's and sneaks, I want you to get to their rear and shank them. Take out the head and their support. If you find any siege engines, well I'll let your imaginations do the work for you." he said, grinning as their forces set about getting into motion.

"As for the rest of you rotten bunch of bastards, let's get to the slaughter." said Za'cha. "If you find yourself too injured, fall back into the fortress and recuperate. We may very well find ourselves in hall to hall combat soon enough." he ordered, before closing his eyes and removing the pendant from his throat to activate its true form and power, that of the Rider Of Death himself, the weapon of one of the Four Horsemen Of The Apocalypse, the Scythe Of Death!

He held the Scythe up like a banner for them to rally around, its sinister aura permeating the air. "Well, what are you all waiting for?" he asked rhetorically, dropping his arm, the blade of the Scythe flashing through the air like the flag for a race. "LET'S GET THIS STARTED! LEAVE NONE OF THEM ALIVE!" roared the Pillar Head Of Conviction, the gathered forces roaring as well as they began to carry out the orders.

    Soon, battle was joined.

'Off course' responded Viktor, while taking a small yet graceful bow 'I'll make sure the Garm will devour anyone foolish enough to try and punch a hole in our walls.'

The moment he finished that very sentence, a vague howl was to be heard. Hollow yet echoing from somewhere far away, deep inside the endless catacombs of the darkest of guilds. It was as if the Garm itself resonated with the guild, knowing that there was a threat to could destroy their unholy sanctuary. Or maybe it was just the devouring hunger that had no limits, a gluttony unlike any other that made the Garm move, and may it be that there was an all you can eat buffet just outside these very gates.

With that being said, and the ill foreboding presence of the Garm. Viktor turned around, to disappear into the shadows of the guild. Naturally being followed by Fenrir and Skoll, who above all, seemed to be the most hungry.
