The New Evil [Harrigan]

The spooky forest, a forest so dark and creepy even dark mages are scared to stay within its vastness. This night in particular it seemed to be even spookier than it was as thunder clouds covered the sky and spat out black lightning. Black lightning? Yes it was unusual and for a clear sky just moments ago, it seemed that something or someone was causing this strange lightning to appear. This person was none other than Theo Pendragon, or as he like to be called, Phantom King walking through the forest looking for a certain place, a place he wished to join to start things within the world of magic. It had been a few hours since he had walked into the forest and seemed like he was lost but he felt as if he where getting closer and closer to his destination. He wondered what would be there, would the people be strong? would they like him? he thought before he let out a sinister laugh. He thought he was funny seeing as he wouldn't if they liked him or not as they where basically pawns in his game of life but maybe it would be a good idea to atleast befriend them.

"Stop talking, Theo, think about this when you actually get there" said the gold clad teenage in a neutral voice, he just wished to get this trip over with before he caught an attitude or run into a beast, as he was not in a fighting mood.

That vast forest the young lad was talking about, that collection of creepy trees which branches hung gloomy over his head. Was even that much darker then most would know, as it was the considered the backyard of the most notorious guilds of all time. The dark guild Savage Skull, a place so vile that it would even put the dangerous forest around it to shame.
Yet somehow, one person had gotten it in his mind to happily traverse such a grim environment, that was everything except good for your health. Leaving the eyes of the guild, the mages that skulked in the shadows of the forest, wondering to why a young man would walk this deep into the unknown. To the point they brought in the most peculiar of characters.

This character was no one else then Viktor R. Albeit. The household servant of Savage Skull and according to some, has been there for forever.
Viktor was a strange occurrence in these areas, as he displayed anything else then the bloodlust and insanity his fellow guild mages often portrayed. No instead he seemed to be serenity itself, a calmness before the storm. A man who despite where he was, managed to genuinely portray some sort of kindness.

'You know, we don't get much visitors around these parts' emerging from the shadows of the trees he stepped forth. His voice surprisingly kind, his face surprisingly old. Viktor had appeared.

Theo continued in the gloomy forest, beginning to get slightly irritated that he has yet to find the place or the guild called savage skull. How deep was the guild within the forest? or was Theo so blind that maybe the guild was hidden by the shadows that covered the forest? He did not know and this continually fed into his irritation and as his irritation grew, the lightning in the sky seemed to strike more often, louder, and brighter than it had before. As the young mage was thinking and walking through the forest, he felt something or someone that seemed to be in the shadow but started to ignore it before he was face to face with someone who had appeared from the shadows. "An old man?" He thought to himself as he looked at the stranger who had just appeared, he wondered why was such a old man was here in such a bad place, doesn't he know he could get killed?

Theo once again stopped himself from thinking, his time as a legal mage was really getting to him, which was a bit upsetting. Theo also knew that if this old man was here in the spooky forest, he was here for a reason or was in fact probably a part of the guild. He would find out soon enough. "We?" Theo's thoughts shifted right to the dark guild before he continued speaking. "Well i see why not, it is a beautiful forest, mister" He said as he looked intensely at the old man "and plus i am looking for a place, somewhere that is important" he finished. Maybe this old man would tell him what he needed to know or at least he hoped so.

'Tell if I'm wrong' replied Viktor, 'but considering where we are, there is only one place you could be looking for. And believe me it's anything besides a safe haven from these treacherous woodlands.'

Viktor toke note of the lad, slowly assessing him and his worth. He was young, quite spirited even. It showed ambition, as he had traveled a long way to reach this goal it seems. But what was more important, he showed promise. He did after all traversed one of the more dangerous environment in Fiore, and managed to live the tale. That on itself was already quite an achievement. Worthy of considering this man as a potential ally.

'So tell me, what drives a young man like yourself all the way out here. Only to land in the very backyard of the darkest of guilds itself. Savage Skull?'

Theo let out a small chuckle that went into a bright smile, giving him a sincere look of innocence to his young face. The old man seemed to be letting on to know where Theo wanted to go and he was right to not call it a safe heaven, its darkest of dark guilds, Savage Skull. "Well, i guess you can say that you may be correct" He said still smiling, knowing that this old man was probably in fact from the dark guild himself, which quite surprised him as he looked so peaceful compared to the many dark mages he had seen in his past. He hoped this old man would lead him to his destined destination soon, as he felt a sudden rush to finally get there after all this time but if he had too he would stay to talk a little longer. It had been some time since he had been in the presence of another human being after seemingly losing some of his memory.

The old man spoke again and Theo let out another chuckle, "You just said it! i am looking for Savage Skull" He said in his most innocent voice possible. He knew it! this old man would get him to where he needed to be and with knowing that, a rush of excitement filled him. "Are you a part of the guild as well, sir?" He asked as he smiled once more.
