    Don't get too close. I'm dark inside.

    The scorching sands of the wilderness would be burning Brennan's feet through his boots--had he not been floating on a plush green pillow. The heat wasn't the most comfortable thing in the world, but the presence of sand all around him was very comforting, it would definitely help him in a crisis. His pink robot, A.I.R.C., lied on his pillow with him, and most of his gear drifted behind him, except for a semi-transparent heart pendant, which he wore around his neck, it was just too dear to him for him not to wear it.

    The 5'3" boy drifted along the desert, just enjoying the sands that went as far as the eye could see, and despite all the gear he carried with him, the boy was a giant target for slave traders. Brennan smiled as he drifted along, completely oblivious to the group of people wearing all black following him from not too far behind. He hummed a happy tune to himself, and A.I.R.C., his robot, groaned loudly, well, it was as close to a groan as a robot could perform, its circuits ever-so-slightly away from overheating. Brennan chuckled, and twirled around in the air, giggling like a little girl.

    Meanwhile the group in black grew closer and closer, ready to capture a new slave. "I'll get him." Said a man with a gruff voice, quickly approaching the oblivious Brennan. He noted the floating items behind the boy, and drew a strange wand, crudely drawing a glyph in the air. "Magic: Negate." He said, and with a flash, Brennan and his weaponry were sent tumbling to the ground.

    Brennan shrieked as he tumbled to the ground, and moaned, his skin already burnt by the burning sands. He groaned as he got up, fumbling for a weapon. He managed to grasp his Ancient Blade of Darkness, and stood up, clumsily holding his sword, his transformation had seeped away much of his physical strength.

    ME DOWN LIKE YOU DO, SWEETHEART

    Shinra was out in the desert he had went to go find a place to meditate in hopes to regain his innate magical abilities. After a few day of no progress Shinra had decided to call it quits and head back to Fairy Tail. He walked through the sands not phased by the heat when he saw a small group of bandits surround a small boy. Shinra chuckled at the sight, he found it incredibly irritating and foolish the bandits where. Apparently the poor fools had no idea what they where dealing with...Shinra could tell that the boy possessed a monstrous amount of strength. So to spare the bandits from having their ass handed to them Shinra made his way towards the boy to lend some assistance.

    "Greetings gentlemen! What do we have here?....A party of some sorts?" Smiled Shinra as he gracefully made his way towards the group. The bandits immediately turned their attention towards Shinra's voice.

    "Hehehehe we get two for one.....look at what that punk's wearing....he may have some cash on him." muttered a bandit as he pointed to Shinra. The other bandits grinned and agreed. Shinra merely kept smiling.

    "Now young master...surely you were going easy on them....allow me to take care of these fine gentleman over here." Shinra bowed to the young boy. Suddenly a bandit lurched forward in hopes to subdue Shinra.

    "Tsk..Tsk....a gentleman need patience...." chuckled Shinra as he flipped the man head over heels with minimal effort. Shinra then stomped on the mans throat just as soon as he hit the ground. A bandit attempted to cast a spell when  Shinra dug his heel into the sand and kicked it it to the bandits eyes. The bandit howled in pain, and with a swift strike to the bandits neck, he felland was knocked out cold.

    The last bandit was able to pull out a dagger and stab Shinra on the shoulder while he was distracted. Shinra simply head butted the man. The man was knocked down and Shinra pulled out the knife without even flinching. The truth was the wound hurt dreadfully but Shinra knew he had to keep up his intimidation. He then took the bloodied knife and pressed it at the bandits throat.

    "I highly suggest you and you comrades here leave before my hand slips and slits your throat.........." smiled Shinra as the blade drew blood. The bandit scrabbled up and ran away and the rest soon followed. Shinra sighed and dropped the knife and looked at the wond.

    "Seriously...this was a new coat....." sighed Shinra clearly more concerned about the hole on his coat rather than the wound on his shoulder.

    "I'm sixteen years old." Brennan said, but no sooner had he said that that Shinra had transformed into a... well, Brennan was not sure at all what the hell Shinra was. Shinra absolutely demolished the bandits, and turned one of them into his slave. He gawked, and started to float once again, "Uhm... quick question." Brennan said, staring at the flaming skull person, "What the hell is happening right now? I mean, I can slay freaking Gods and I'm freaked out about what is happening right now." Brennan hugged Excalibur, and A.I.R.C. started to talk, "Scary man! Very, very scary man!" Brennan stared at Shinra, "Would it be possible for you to become a human again, Akihito?" He paused for a a second, "Well, there's a castle here I want to go to, you can stay in this form I guess, but would you like to help me infiltrate said castle?" He didn't even wait for Shinra, he just started hovering in the direction of the castle he was heading to, he really needed to infiltrate this castle. Well, he didn't need to... he was bored, and wanted to sneak around the castle. "Okay..." He said, "I don't need to go to the castle... I just want to."

    Shinra chuckled as he listened to a young mans words. Shinra reached out and wrapped his icy cold hand to form a hand shake. "I never asked for you age good sir...after all in the world of magic.......not everything is not what they seem.......My name? I am Akihito Shinra a traveler... and a new mage of Fairy Tail." Shinra provided a short introduction as he let go of the new acquaintances hands. Shinra's eyes began to scan the young mans equipment, he knew that Brennan was not to be trifled.

    The conversation would be cut off by another foolish bandit attempting to fight back. Shinra had enough he released his magical power. His skin began to to get hot, smoke began to emit from his body. His flesh began to burn away causing Shinra excruciating pain. Shinra remained firm, unshaken, unmoved. The liquids from his eye began to evaporate and soon his whole body was engulfed by a ghostly flame the spiraled around him. His clothes burned leaving a black tattered trench coat. Before Brennan was Shinra in his death rider form. Though Shinra felt incredible pain during this transformation it was instant......

    "I really hate people like you......you just have no manners...." Shinra's mouth opened his voice was that of thousand different souls speaking in perfect sync. "They call us legion......for we.....are many..." just when those words left Shinra's mouth he vanished. He activated Death Straider, his body had become that of a ghost. He walked and phased through Brennan. After 5 meters, Shinra returned to his physical form. He stood right in front of the last bandit. Shinra grabbed him by the collar and looked into his eyes.

    "Look in to my eyes.......embrace the sins you have done........come and join the army of the damned and lost souls.......come and join the legion...." Shinra's words where like daggers. The bandits eye caught on fire, his whole body was soon consumed by the ghostly flames. Shinra let go and turned to Brennan. The bandit had turned into a flaming skeleton, a slave to Shinra and the legion of spirits in his body.....
