Outside Of Battle

Ilya is a woman with a calm soul. She finds serenity in silence, in the enjoyment of her own presence. Yet, she finds it terrifying- the feeling of solitude. She hates the feeling of emptiness it grants her, the cold chill that claws down her slender spine; she detests it but she can’t do anything about it. Ever sense she was a child, she was quiet. Ilya preferred not to speak but she’d often act like a young pup. Wanting to show that she wasn’t hurt at all and in the end, she felt as if she was being torn apart. So, the only way she could end up expressing herself for a decent part of a her childhood was through cameras, pictures, all of the such. She was so obviously obsessed and still is with her great love for the contraptions. Though as she went into her teen years- she opened up. She became more confident in herself and now, she holds quite a bit of pride herself. She’s sarcastic, biting back at most insults in the calmest of ways. Ilya has never actually taken anything to heart, but she expresses her distaste for certain terms of words through how she acts, her body language, the air around her.

Around strangers, she’s oddly stoic. She doesn’t attempt to greet herself and will only speak when spoken to or the situation is dire. Occasionally, you’ll catch curious glances from her if she doesn’t know you and this will continue unless you ask her a question where she can speak. This makes it a bit hard for her to speak with others, but the soft, subtle changes in her expression easily give Ilya away. The most common one is a sight amused twitch of her lips and one of the fewest expressions she makes is a soft smile, eyes narrowing softly. This is usually when she looks through pictures, ones that hold her memories usually.

While Ilya holds up the image that she’s quite the mature woman, she has a very over-powering child-like side as well. This is her ‘forbidden love’ towards sweets of any kind. She loves them, so, so much. You could easily win her over by granting her with some- specifically cinnamon candies. While spicy foods aren’t exactly her cup of tea; cinnamon is the best in her mind, she’d do almost anything for it. Almost. But Ilya isn’t exactly fooled by the presence of candy, despite her child-like joy over it, occasionally she’ll act like a hesitant little animal being offered food and after several coaxes, even a few examples that it isn’t some kind of.. Deadly treat- she’ll accept it. It’s kind of fun to watch even though she will occasionally act like a brat and completely ignore the offering.

Within Battle

Within the mass of destruction called war- Ilya is a fairly useful character despite the fact that she can easily become lost without certain instructions. She prefers others to grant her orders but dislikes the feeling of being commanded and will more than often stray from the say of her leader if she is given that heavy feeling. This often doesn’t happen. When fighting, she will ask for help more than once for sure, even confirm what the strategy is or what she should do to contribute. If not- she will sometimes become lost. This isn’t a common nor uncommon trait of hers seeing as Ilya prefers not to voice her complications as it will occasionally drive her up a wall with embarrassment. This has led to her being able to hold herself fairly well within battle.

As a leader, one of the few things that Ilya could grant is the ability to come up with plans. Though, these plans can be a bit problematic. She travels down to the very last detail almost and this consumes massive amounts of time. One of the other few things is that, she doesn’t force others to do something but when the situation is dire, her voice will become stern, steady you could say and is hard not to hear despite her quiet tone during most speaking scenarios.

✓ Cameras
There’s no specific cause for this, she’s just be interested in them sense she was a child. Especially the ones with bright, blinding flashes.
✓ Candy
Ilya has not only a strong, ‘forbidden’ love of sweets, but she’s obsessed with them. She refuses to admit it though and keeps it to herself.
✓ Pictures
Pictures are one of her largest obsessions. She loves taking them more than looking at them because she believes in a way that they make it so she won’t forget certain things.

DISLIKES

✕ Extensive Heat
She has a fairly strong dislike for warmer temperatures, makes her feel quite uncomfortable.

Seeing as Ilya doesn't really enjoy speaking that much, talking for long periods of time just makes her feel awkward.

Ilya doesn't really enjoy the taste of sour foods, it leaves an awkward aftertaste in her mouth.

FEARS

✖ Loosing Memories
She’s terrified of loosing parts of her memory, forgetting. All of that- she’s terrified of that and because of that fear- she constantly takes pictures.
✖ Lack Of Color
A world without color terrifies her. She loves color, any really. The bright the better but when it comes to worlds of black and white, it has her blood running cold. She still enjoys those colors though.
✖ Deep, Murky Waters
A sea that doesn't have a bottom. An endless pool of black waters. She hates it. Ilya doesn't really have a reason for it other than one. It gives her an endless sense of emptiness, one that frightens her.

MOTIVATIONS

✔ Capturing Memories
This relates to her small obsession with taking photo’s and her belief that she can forever hold onto her memories like that. She wants to capture all the memories she can and that keeps her going perfectly.
✔ Opening Her Own Back-Alley Shop
Ilya has always had a great love for small, low-key shops and would love to open her own. She’s still debating whether it’d be background supplies or sweets of some sort or another.
✔ Abandonment
It’s not that Ilya is scared of it, she’s more.. Expecting it and she doesn’t want to. Ilya doesn’t want to see the effects it’ll have on her because that startles her.

With hair the color of a brilliant, golden flame, orange threads unravel and rest against the dip in her back. As it moves along with her own actions, it resembles that of water, the motions smooth and subtle. Within the mass of orange hairs, are shades both fainter and darker than the original shinning hue. These give her hair depth and unknown beauty, one she doesn’t often acknowledge. Giving the straight strands a slight wave, is a subtle dent within her hair created by often being tied up. Her hair falls like a soft curtain along the sides of her face, barely framing it while allowing a soft light to filter through the strands. It rests against pale skin, contrasting brightly against wet, green hues. These are almond shaped, constantly narrowed almost and giving color to her face. They’re like raw emeralds, each falter or stumble in the color giving it a shimmering brilliance.

Ilya’s entire body is slender, built you could say. Each little indent or imperfection making her seem all that more human. A thin neck holds up her round face, before it fades into delicate shoulders and slender arms, a pair of soft hands will barely peak from the edges of the mass of fabric she wears. Despite her lanky build, she’s fairly generous and quite a looker, standing at a whole 5’9”.

Her style of clothing isn’t that interesting. She prefers long sleeve shirts that are a bit thin paired with the occasional tights under jean shorts. Other than this, the clothing Ilya wears is actually pretty dull. Darker colors with a few flashes of brighter colors and that’s about it. Her hair is usually tied up with a checkered hat over.
