Shu kept repeating the word in her head as she was uncomfortably squished in a line of people, all scampering about to claim their passports. The discomfort was apparent on her pale features as she kept her hands in her pockets, her red hat tilting slightly in a messy fashion. "Oh dear. . .", she muttered before sighing softly. Despite her own current predicament, she was more concerned about her partner that was with her on this particular mission.

A man she hadn't gotten the opportunity to become too familiar with.

Despite his present position of bartender at the guild, she was wondering about who he truly was. He seemed to originate from nowhere and yet from many places. It was a curious thought process and a long one at that, but she decided to keep to herself while being polite. This was their first mission together and it was important to take each relationship one step at a time.

With the crease of her brows and a rather silly smile to lighten the mood, the young woman laughed lightly as her eyes closed. A slight sweatdrop could be seen descending down the side of her face from the atmosphere of the environment itself. "So, Kiku. . . How are you holding up back there, ehehehe?" Despite how the question may have seemed in poor taste considering their current situation, she was worried.

As Kiku and Shu had first arrived at the place to get their passports, his mind had been elsewhere with the many people that crowded around. His mind was up in the clouds really. Wishing that he could just pick up the little girl he was with, and floating over the masses before them, and shooing them off away just so he could feel the air brushing off against his skin. His hair fluttered as something a kin to a vacuum happened from just above his head, showing off his lack of centration. It was just simple as his Halo almost coming into focus, this then most likely his wings, and that’d make it worse.

His eyes glanced around, and skimmed over the faceless people to him. He could tell by the colors he saw around that he was in a group of other guilds. Of course, Infinity Hydra was only just a newly founded guild, one split from another guild as most seem to resonate sadly. Some people just lacked the ability to hold people together. Tis a sad skill for a guild to hold. Perhaps they should be more like some of the smaller guilds, a kin like Fairy tail. A guild built on the basis of friendship, and bonds.

Once again the man’s attention was caught as the words of his guildmate caught his ears causing his to shift down some. His left hand would lift to come to rest on her head before patting her lightly. “All is fine little Sir. Crowds aren’t really a bother for me as much as they are just a tad annoying.” He said, mistaking her gender. Shu was a name that many gave to males, and her state of dress didn't really show off enough to make him assume their gender.

Feeling a hand rest on her head - squishing the fabric of her read hat - the young woman felt a smile etch onto her face at the man's words. Once more, the young woman was mistaken for the opposite gender, and it was still a rather humorous endeavor. Violet eyes seemed to carry a tint of amusement as she chuckled quietly to herself, the notion of the position they were in adding to the entire air of irony.

There were people clamoring and scampering, the line moving one by one as each person was either allowed their passport or denied. Despite how they were reaching closer and closer to their objective, all that was on the youth's mind was how to deliver the joke properly. It was so that after a few moments of silence did she turn her head to look up at Kiku, a genuine smile on her lips as a giggle passed her lips.

The action may have seemed strange at first but the truth did need to come out. One could only drag out a joke for so long, and get away with it successfully. "By the way, sir. . . I'm a woman, aha!", she concluded with a slight chuckle, noting the deep thought he seemed to have been in. It was within these few moments that she hoped to lighten the mood with a small joke, as they were nearing the front of the line - the officer's voice crystal clear in their ears. For now, however, they still had to deal with small yet cramped spaces.

Kiku let out a snort when he heard that. He looked down at her with a cock of his head before his head shook some before he pulled his hand away from her head, and went to slip his separate hands into their respective pockets. His eyes came up to the line. His head would cock some off to the side as it seemed that he was getting impatient some. A slight grin slipped to his lips as he reached forward and tapped the man before him on the shoulder. The man quickly looked back, and found himself staring into Kiku’s strange red eyes. A voice that was rather twisted slipped from his lips with grace, almost natural. “Thank you Sir for looking into my eyes like you did. I’d like you to know that now that I’ve done this, I can erase you from existence. No, not kill, but make it so that you never existed. That is, unless you remove the people infront of me and this young lady. You see, we have places to go.” He chuckled madly after he said that.

The man quickly turned 5 shades of white before moving out of the way with the group of friends he had with him before allowing Kiku and Shu to move up. His eyes skimmed down to Shu for a moment before tilting his head. ”Shall we move dear? It seems we’re next in line” Kiku smiled as he moved inside, and gave the officals all the needed information about his guild, and some false information about his age. He even flashed his tongue for the guild symbol.

He glanced at her as he went to walk outside. "I'mma start walking back to the guild. Catch up with me when you're done here~. I'll walk slow."

Aha! She was successful! An amused snort escaped past the man's lips behind her, indicating that her rather humorous nature was still intact. The weight of the hand once placed gently atop her head slipped away, the fabric of the red hat slowly inflating once more as it gathered air to breathe. Keeping her gaze forward to the back of the man before her, little had Shu known the plan Kiku had in store - much less what he was capable of.

His pale skin stretched into her view as the man tapped the shoulder of the stranger before them, provoking him to turn in their general direction. It was suddenly that a chill crawled up and down the young woman's spine as a twisted voice nearly rumbled through her ears. Violet eyes widened a fraction in surprise at Kiku's words spoken with the utmost ease. It was almost as if this was a second nature to him, and another mystery to add to the day. Within the moments, all she could gather was that the stranger before her seemed rather frightened - reasonably trembling even - before gathering his group of friends to make way.

Intimidation, maybe? No, that seemed like it was too easy. . . Aha, that poor guy. . . He seemed like he was going to puke. Maybe I should apologize later.

Such sympathetic thoughts were broken sharply as a mad chuckle entered her ears, almost causing the young woman to blink numerous times in surprise. It wasn't a lie to admit that she was startled by her partner's behavior but such an emotion had to be bottled up. Despite how the patterns that presented themselves seemed to offer rather important details regarding the man's capabilities, Shu kept to herself and her thoughts. She found it best that way for now and to let Kiku do as he wish while being used to his presence in the guild. After all, the method he performed did allow the line to be shorter in a much shorter span of time.

It was then that his voice entered captured her complete attention, causing her to turn her head up to him with a slow, singular blink. Keeping her calm and relaxed demeanor intact, Shu listened to his words before observing him as he walked past. Now she wasn't sure what to think of the man, her eyes widened completely as she tilted her head. Kiku was truly one grand mystery. "U-Uh. . . Huh.", she thoughtlessly agreed before shaking her head.

Before she knew it, Kiku had finished with his turn. Keeping her gaze matched with his, she listened to his words once more before nodding her head, unable to hold back snort. "Please, walk at your own pace, sir. I'll catch up to you with ease no doubt, haha." And with that she walked inside, providing her basic information, revealing her newly printed guild symbol on her shoulder, and successfully receiving the item sought for the day before running out.

Shu still needed to apologize to that man that was scared straight before catching up to Kiku.
