Hello members of Fairy Tail RP, as some of you already may have noticed, some of the guilds suffer from a severe lack of members. Giving most of the guilds a rather empty ambiance that we and the guild masters rather not have.
This is caused of course by too many guilds as some might say; which, in a sense, is true, but since the staff doesn't want to make some space by getting rid of a guild without at least trying to fix it. We have decided that the other solution to this problem is getting new and fresh members.
Sure we have asked the guilds Sabertooth and Lamia Scale to close their doors for a couple of weeks, or at least till this event is over. But that isn't enough. So we came with the idea to throw a little Advertising Event. We don't know if this will fix the problem right away, but if we all pitch in we can at least try to keep the guilds fun and active.
So what we 'the staff' ask of you, is that we all try to help out and find active roleplaying sites to advertise our own community. And not just other rp's like ours, try to think out of the box. Large communities that allow different kinds of role-play themes, or some of those Top 100 role-play sites. Or try those anime discussion forums, anything goes. As long as it focuses on the right group. Like we don't need to post up advertising on sites like Timeshare vacation homes for the elderly or something.
As a reward for participating each of you will get 40,000 jewels. The only thing we ask is that you at least try to advertise on 15 to 20 sites. More if possible xD.
Just send the links you posted in a private message to me, Raven or Aedre.
Some Rules though:
1. Don't flood a site with several posts of the same advert, it's a tad rude. And probably has the opposite effect of what we want. One advert is enough.
2. You are free to use your own material for advertising. Like some fun GFX banner or anything else. But we also encourage to use our own adviser thingy which is located at the bottom of this post.
3. Try to check if the site you are on is active, there is after all nothing to gain from shouting at a dead cow right.
NOTE - Please PREVIEW the advertisement before posting it on other sites, since some hosts like Jcink and Proboards have different center codes; and using the bbcode applicable to Forumotion may mess up the appearance of the advertisement. First impression is the last, aye?
