    Completed The Imp[Please Check]

Post by The Imp 6th June 2015, 9:58 am

Name: N/A ((Unnamed, referred to as The Imp))
    Gender: N/A
    Age: 2 months
    Birthday: September 10th
    Sexuality: N/A
Special Characteristics: The Imp is a young artificial magic being. Imps as a general rule are a class of wooden animate voodoo dolls that hold the soul of a deceased person. They are equal parts seith magic and forest magic as despite being powered by a human soul they take more after the tree they were crafted from then the human who died to make them.

Personality: The Imp, as in this specific one, was made from the wood of the Tenrou Tree and the soul of a child once belonging to Fairy Tail. Having magic wood as its body and a magic soul The Imp is an abnormally even among its already rare race. Imps are creatures completely of their own identity, while they may be influenced by their parts, in the end they are completely new life forms with no recollection of the old life of their soul. But the influence is strong enough that The Imp at all times feels drawn to Fairy Tail. The creature cannot create a rational explanation of why and cannot describe the feeling in any way other than "it just feels right." As such they possess an unnatural loyalty to the guild despite the guild having done nothing for The Imp, as of yet. In his short life The Imp has of yet been to the guild hall but already considers it his home.

Most Imps are inclined to hide in the forests where their parent tree is and guard it. However The Imp, while being crafted by wood of the Tenrou Tree, was animated far from Tenrou Island and has never been there while its been alive. The Imp has taken up residence in a remote forest of Fiore learning the ways of its people from an older member of its race. It longs to go Tenrou Island and Magnolia Town having little attachment to the forest where it has lived the entirety of its life so far. Once The Imp comes into their powers they intend to flee their forest and mentor for the place they consider their real home.

Once you get past all of the grimy psychological base work a person would think they could have a decent idea of how The Imp behaves. A loyal, dependable stalwart defender of Fairy Tail. However that is entirely inaccurate as The Imp is as capricious as they come. The Imp is a wild and playful entity filled with curiosity and energy. Not being raised in human society they have little concept of rules and order rather simply doing whatever it wants. The Fairy Tail mage's soul within The Imp however sways it away from causing harm to the guild or getting into serious trouble. But make no mistake if they want to knock over that vase they are going to knock over that vase. The Imp is incredibly fond of games and treats the entirety of life as a game. Many imps were built with a purpose in mind, not this one. Its driven completely by impulses and sees having fun as the complete meaning of life.

Which indicates that The Imp operates poorly under stress. When endangered or in trouble The Imp panics horribly and almost always tries to run away. The Imp already has scarcity when it comes to intelligent thought but when scared the little it has goes out the window. Despite having various magic powers that a normal scared creature would use to escape trouble, when things get serious The Imp actually tends to forget it has any magic. This makes it very unreliable in a pinch. Screaming and running in circles seem to be its main defense mechanism.

However as unreliable as it is its unreliability is in turn unreliable and on rare occasion can focus and be a valuable ally in a tight spot. However this has little to do with the severity of the crisis as The Imp is just as likely to be helpful(or not) over spilled milk as over a life threatening danger.

As a footnote it should be mentioned The Imp is incredibly dumb.
    Likes:
Fairy Tail: With loyalty written in its "DNA," The Imp values Fairy Tail as a priceless treasure.
Trees: Made from a tree, to live among trees imps are naturally drawn to forests.
Sweets: With a brain like a child was there ever a chance it wouldn't have a sweet tooth?
    Dislikes:
Authority: The Imp doesn't take orders well.
Vegetables: That's like cannibalism? They're also gross
Big Things: As a little guy the Imp has a rational dislike for big guys.
Order: Nature is not a fine oiled machine and The Imp likes the chaotic nature of the wild over the regulation of organization.
    Motivations:
    Fun: It's fun!
Friends: Fun is more fun with friends!
Family: While mostly light hearted The Imp feels great envy as it looks upon families. Not even knowing its own creator its closest connection is to a mentor who is not much of a parental figure. While imps are naturally solitary The Imp has other plans.
    Fears:
    Fire: IT BURNS!
    Monsters: THEY HAVE BIG TEETH!
Smart People: They try sneaky tricks.

    General Appearance

    Height: 3 feet flat
    Weight: 12 Kilograms
    Hair: Er....
    Eyes: Orange
    Skin Tone: Brown?
Appearance: The Imp is a bony child sized wooden doll clad in garb of bark and leaves. It has strange beady eyes that glow with magic. For a mouth it has a beak that implies that whoever made it is really good at carving mouths.

    Guild/Council

    Guild: Fairy Tail
Tattoo: Being made of wood The Imp can't have a tattoo but has the symbol painted on the back of its shirt.
    Rank: D-Rank
