Some other begining's end...

Romulus stepped aboard the living tree ship. He had not had a long tenure at Black Rose, but he had already backed himself into a corner. He was unable to truly let himself out, nor was he able to succeed in making the connections he strived for. As he was leaving, he left a note announcing his permanent departure attached to a suit jacket he had gotten while still a member of the guild stuck to the door of Kakuma's office, with a solid obsidian throwing knife. At this point, the only thing Romulus knew was that he needed a cup of coffee. And this blue stain off of his arm and off of his mind. He set off towards Rose Garden for a cup of coffee to settle his thoughts and help guide him towards his next move. Whichever guild he chose, he would have to choose very carefully. He laid his pack down on the port side of the main deck, and laid down with his head on it. This boat ride would be the longest one of his entire life.
