This was Peace Village right? An attentive community of people that were very welcoming towards their guests. Or at least that is what this place portrayed. Meanwhile there was an aggressive rivalry going on between two of the most well known chefs in the entire village, who's abilities bested in different areas of cooking. And it seemed one of them had, had enough of failing horrible at trying to make fudge. It had never tasted as marvellous as his rival, and he was through with watching the village people fawn over his fudge and pay little attention to his own.

"Pathetic." Nai uttered, cloak pulled over his figure and shadowing his face. Since he was farther out from the main areas of cities and highly populated towns, he figured it'd be better to lay low in an area that wasn't so crowded with people. Plus he was told not to stick out when slinking into the home of his clients rival. Despite this job being entirely futile, his client was paying quite the load of jewels. And that was all that mattered to him one way or another.

Nai poised directly infront of a grand wooden door of a small worn out home. One of the many that was just as related to the homes settled around Peace Village, as though they had been cloned. The shadow looming over his crimsons irises caused them to gleam slightly, glancing carefully back and forth to inspect if anybody was nearby. So far, the coast was as clear as the sky and he rotated back toward the door to blow it open with the heel of his foot. A loud bang echoed into the home and probably to anybody that was nearby but not within eyesight.

Casually he stepped inside, hoisting up the door so it rested against the frame of the entrance and expressed it had not even been touched from the outside view. Thankfully a few people were late with observing what that loud sound had been, and did not notice the contorted and some-what damaged looking door as Nai turned over to look at the unorganized house. Papers were everywhere, along with clothes. But, he knew the man would never leave any of his valuable recipes out in the open for somebody to take, and shifted to the back of his house to an overly locked drawer in the kitchen. It was suspicious and plainly needed at least ten keys to open the meager space just aside from the oven.

But, it wasn't like Nai couldn't handle a few locks. They were thin and feeble, obviously weak if he piled ten of them together to bind a more firm hold. It seemed his clients rival had no idea that there was such a thing as magic strong enough to break these worthless things. Nai hesitantly pulled down his hood, letting his tied lengthy hair fall and waver against his back. His hand reached into his ivory scarf, tugging out a valuable looking wand which shimmered brightly against the red gemmed end. He urged it against the locks and a black smoke hesitantly began to swirl out, causing the metal to rust and then eventually break apart.

It descended onto the floor with a clatter, and the drawer shifted slightly as he pulled it open with a stoic expression. Papers. All organized and written rather nicely in hand-writing. They were all labeled with different food names, and he tossed each piece down onto the floor that wasn't the one he was looking for.

Lastly after a few minutes of flipping through papers, he came across the recipe sheet, examining it briefly before shoving into the pocket of his cloak and tugging his hood back onto his head. Nai decided to leave the place as it was. After all it was already a mess, and adding more to it didn't really seem like a problem. Sneakily he stepped out of the house, making sure to place the door as it was before pursuing down the cobblestone path of Peace Village.

Thankfully his client was a few minutes away, and there was a restless grin curving onto his lips as he imagined the bulky bags of money settled in his hands. And all for just a stupid recipe. He was quite perplexed that somebody would devote themselves far enough in their cooking carrier to hire a mage to steal a recipe. He'd at least thought the people of Fiore would be a bit more interesting than this.

His client was inside, writing, working. Nai could see him doing whatever it was that he was doing, contently and an amused expression painted his features. Instead of leaving the recipe in his mailbox or knocking on the door, his frame slowly began to lift of the ground and he floated through the open window, hovering. He crept up behind his client, watching what he was doing from above with a childish grin. "Hmmm." he hummed out loud, startling the man as a few papers fell and he glanced up in timidness to see Nai. Beads of sweat began to form on his forehead, as if he had been caught.

Since he didn't say a work, Nai reached into the pocket of his cloak and dropped the crumpled piece of paper at his feet. The man hesitantly looked down and reached toward the paper to unravel it and look at what it said, "You're a pathetic cheater~. I feel bad for you~." Nai sang, holding out his hands and waiting for the weight of jewel filled pouches. The man was hesitant, but he leaned back and embraced two small bags, discharging them into Nai's palms as he took them with a crude laugh.
