Personality:
Silvaetus is generally a friendly, polite and intellectual character with a bit of a twist to him. He always looks out for people, helping where he can and still trying to help where he can’t. Sadness is something the young man can’t stand to see, always trying to cheer someone up no matter how ridiculous and/or hard the things he has to do are. Calm and collected is the way he usually is, trying to solve problems with what he has; a more refined part of his personality. There is also his knack of interfering in fights; he doesn’t mind if it’s a friendly dispute, but once it turns serious he will use any means to stop it. First he will try to solve it calmly and logically, trying to assess the situation; if this doesn’t work he tries to be a bit more forceful, separating the participants as much as possible for them to cool off and avoid any more fighting; and if even this fails Silvaetus personality changes to be completely serious and angry (before that he stays his friendly and calm self), and he will force the participants into being quiet – a state where he is quite scary.
Why does he intervene like this? Because he cannot stand two or more people fighting over something that can be solved calmly; it also makes him feel sad and thus a bit angry when people fight.
However he himself does not really get angry unless the events happen as stated earlier or the innocent/his comrades are threatened. The only time you could compare his behavior to being angry aggressive is if he is VERY annoyed by someone or something; that’s when even he loses his cool. The reason behind this is because he doesn’t understand the concept of anger over, what in his mind are trivial things.
His manner of speech is rather polite with a mix of colloquial vocabulary and grammar, talking in an English accent (quite the charmer to be honest, though it’s unintentional). The twist to his personality is that he is a bit of a pervert. The goggles which he always carries around have an X-ray incorporated into them which allows him to see through one layer of clothing completely… the worst part is that unless he does anything to give himself away one would never suspect him as a peep; of course he has standards… 17 and above. Hugging is another trademark of his; he loves hugs and thinks it’s the best way to express happiness and support.
Otherwise Silvaetus is quite intellectual and very interested in machines; always to be found building another small gadget or toy. This is partly why he chose the magic he uses. With an IQ of 135 he is quite intelligent (as a reference: the average human IQ is 90-110) which sadly doesn’t show unless necessary.
It is quite often that you see him with children since he has something of a father complex. Anyone younger than 17 he regards as someone that needs to be protected and taken care of, especially if they have no one.
Summed up: Silvaetus is friendly, caring and intellectual; looking out for his comrades and the innocent. He rarely gets angry and only results to violence when he is annoyed or when it’s the only way.
He is a creative and free individual, who marches to the beat of a somewhat different drum. He has a bad habit of telling lies and making up excuses (when he doesn’t feel like doing something – and the lies are pretty good and well thought out), but he has an amazing talent for imaginative things.
When getting to know him there are two things you need to understand: his view of the world and his view on making bonds.
Worldview: “The world is an ever-changing place, like the time on a clock. And like a clock the world has many gears working together to keep it moving. All it takes is for one, even if just the smallest, part to break and it will stop completely… broken… waiting for someone to repair it.”

View on bonds: “The bonds we form are like a network that connects us from everywhere. Like additional parts to a machine each and every bond we forge can be both beneficial and a hindrance; they can make us perform at our peak or they can destroy every part of us.”

Likes:
Silvaetus likes children and spending time with them. Combing his hobby of building machines/gadgets with his love for children he makes toys for them to entertain them. Machines in general are his interest; every time he sees one he has the urge to inspect and gaze at its marvel. Then there is his habit of hugging people to express happiness/gratitude or his support/empathy. Of course not to forget how he likes to peep on girls, usually in public areas where there is a “wide selection”. His favorite dishes are ramen, pizza, steak and ribs and these are pretty much the only things he can cook… exquisitely. He likes to listen to classical or opera music (helps him concentrate).

Dislikes:
He hates to see people sad or fighting, it makes him feel sad and somewhat guilty. A person’s annoyance factor is also a dislike; Silvaetus calculates how annoying a person is at a moment and then responds accordingly violently.
And of course: vegetables and bitter tastes... honestly,who likes them?

Motivations:
His greatest motivation is to create the ultimate machine. What the machine would do Silvaetus does not know, but it is his goal to build it; a machine that is the perfect equilibrium between magic and science. Silvaetus decided that if this machine were to be beneficial to humanity he would keep; if it were a threat for humanity then he would seal it away for eternity – the destruction of a machine as such is impossible and its creation probably just as likely.
Silvaetus loves machines/science and magic equally, so he combined the two in his magic.

Fears:
Both magic and science have incredible, nearly limitless, potential. This is something Silvaetus find both fascinating and horrifying at the same time. Magic and science can be used to be beneficial (better agriculture, more efficiency when mining - make life easier in general) or to be destructive (War, Pollution, Destruction). Humans are unpredictable that is a fact, you never know what they may do making them a threat to themselves; giving them the gift of magic and/or science the potential for catastrophes rises exponentially making not just humans a threat, but also what they discover in the two fields. If the two fields are combined… a power equally as great as the two is created, adding another threat.
Basically speaking Silvaetus fears the misuse of magic and science; a misuse to such a degree that it will destroy not only humanity physically, but also in what they stand for – equilibrium.

Appearance:
Silvaetus is a tall and has a wedge shaped body. His shoulders are broad and he has narrow hips. He has muscled arms and legs (since he tends to work with heavy objects) and is thus quite strong compared to others of his build. Silvaetus is always seen with a Neo-Victorian outfit: a black fabric vest, white long-sleeved shirt underneath with rolled up sleeves, a black tie, black dress pants and a pair of black leather dress-shoes. In addition he always carries around his father’s pocket watch, a pair of goggles (steampunk design) with an x-ray application and a set of headphones (steampunk design).
He generally appears as a friendly young man with a constant contempt expression on his face. Normally he wears his headphones listening to classical or opera music, but he can still hear through it.
His second mechanical form is a 2.2 meter giant. It’s a bit hard to describe so please make do with the picture ^^
