Shunsui is a young man with a peculiar personality. Taking on the support role in nearly everything, he is one person you can rely on. He hardly ever acts like a leader. Shunsui is simply too lazy. Many leadership roles often come with responsibilities according to the position. Being a leader means that Shunsui would have to act like one. Acting like someone else is not to Shunsui's liking at all. When the time comes for him to do what he's asked, Shunsui will do what he has to do. Any sane man would want power, of course, but not if it comes with too much responsibility that one cannot handle. If he's presented with a situation where he's required to take the position of a leader, Shunsui will do so. He won't be enjoying any moment of it, but completing the task is always something that's required to be done.
Shunsui is one who is reliant on others. This isn't because he can't. It is due to his negligence. He refuses to overexert his body. He believes that power will come to him eventually and doesn't purposely search and train for what will come, given time. Despite his laziness, Shunsui is a patient man, capable of waiting eternally for strength. These may not seem like virtues of a dark guild member, but Shunsui is one who enjoys chaos. To spread chaos and the seven deadly sins is his sole purpose at the time being. Shunsui loves to act and uses this ability in a deceitful way. He goes to great lengths to mock others, start a fight, spreading chaos everything, including between his fellow magicians within the same guild.
Shunsui, as stated before, is not one to enjoy the glory of a leader. He attempts at all cost to deny that the position is his. If presented with such a position, Shunsui would argue at great measures as to why he isn't qualified to do such a thing. Wriggling his way out with words, he will do anything to get out of such a tiresome job. Yet there are some times when one doesn't get what he wants. When this happens, Shunsui will take his rank with pride, thus becoming a new person completely. A million things will go through the wizard's mind, always choosing the best possible way to win the current battle with as little casualties as possible on his side. As for what happens to the opponents, his care cup is empty.
In battle, Shunsui turns into a demon. He becomes a genius analyst, carefully inspecting the terrain, the enemies, number of them, and whatnot. Devising a plan for the most nimble outcome, he initiates such a plan immediately. While doing so, he is quite entertained by such. After living for more years than he can count (immortal), Shunsui has slowly transformed into a masochist. He doesn't personally like the pain, but seeing the confused look on the enemies face after he gets stabbed and starts laughing insanely is music to his ears, beauty at its finest. Living for many years and doing nothing about it is inarticulate. It's absurd! Thus, Shunsui has mastered close combat fighting, specifically the art of Muay Thai. Shunsui is also a trained assassin, one trained in silent killing. He attempts to have deserted the old ways of such unorthodox slaughter-fest, but over time, it has become a habit.

Chaos: A dark guild mage without a single goal in mind suddenly plans to eradicate happiness from the Earth.
Power: Though Shunsui doesn't strive for such, if there's power involved at an easy cost, Shunsui is more than happy to take such a bet.
Solitude: Shunsui enjoys the quite life of living in solitude. Maybe this is just a result of being heartless, but Shunsui despises those who have friends. He sees other humans as tools; you use them, they use you, you get what you want.

Responsibility: This is just too much for Shunsui. Responsibility is something that requires a lot of balls to handle, according to Shunsui.
Happiness: As a result of never feeling happiness, he despises the idea of happiness, refusing to believe such an emotion exists.
People: Shunsui isn't claustrophobic or anything of that sort. But too many people causes him to get mad. They seem united when many people gather in the same area, which results in happiness.
