Getting Rid of the Pesky Blockade (Job: Akame/Legacy) Empty Getting Rid of the Pesky Blockade (Job: Akame/Legacy)

    Job Details:

It had been a week since Akame's last mission, and she was finally prepared to do another. It was especially nice to be back into this sort of mood due to the companionship of a fellow Sabertooth member, Marick Lowell. Many hadn't seen him for awhile, though for some reason, Akame had the opportunity as being one of the first to see him, personally. Apparently he was an upper-class Mage in this guild, and was comparable with some of the strongest Mages in Sabertooth. However, that wouldn't stop Akame from eventually competing, herself. The Tempest Demon Slayer was pretty much ready for any mission she could afford, nowadays, and was more than ready for a fight, any day. Albeit, this time was different as the two were assigned the task of dealing with some Vulcans in another town: Clover Town. Two strong Vulcans seemed to have taken over the Train Station there, and were not only interrupting their progress, but threatening those who stood near the station of their lives. Akame clinched her teeth just thinking about it. "Life is unfair." Akame muttered before she called for transportation. To save these people was a very urgent case, and so Akame had to pay an especial fee to gather some swift transport over to Clover Town, itself.

    A Few Hours Later

The two were in Clover Town, and Akame was strangely energetic. Normally, one would be exhausted after all that time spent to get to another town, though with Akame's mindset, there was no way she could fall for exhaustion- not a single chance in hell. No. Akame had to defeat these Vulcans, and teach them a lesson they would never forget. She was accompanied by Marick, during this time, and definitely required his assistance. Having equal numbers seemed essential, anyways. "So you two are the pests around here, huh?" Akame announced, "Well, stand away from these innocent civilians as you are about to receive your punishment for invading their privacy." Akame stared at the Vulcans with a fearsome look. She unsheathed her sword as even that slight move caused a silver bolt of lightning to strike the ground a mile away from the Train Station. Akame wondered just how she would defeat these Vulcans. Could they be imprisoned, or would Akame have to knock them unconscious, hoping they could be moved to some sort of wasteland? Albeit, Akame promised herself that she was going to win in this brawl, and achieve great success. What also mattered, however, was the assistance of Marick, seeing as Akame hated two-versus-one battles.

Marick was all but ready to return to Sabertooth now, having spent a few weeks tying up loose ends around Fiore. In fact the only reason he hadn't made an appearance in the guildhall was due to the fact he was helping his old friend Kara to set up her new business in the rebuilding city of Era. With that almost complete however he was now beginning to take up jobs, such as the one he was set to do today. He'd met a girl who he'd noticed was a part of the guild by the tattoo on her right hand and, after a brief talk, he'd offered to do a job with her.

Now within the Clover Town train station the Sabertooth Ace was unusually relaxed about the job, even as he was informed of the two creatures who were in the vicinity. The goblin wouldn't be too much of an issue so long as someone had their eye on him. The vulcan could be problematic, but it was nothing that they wouldn't be able to handle.

"Well then Miss Seito, shall we begin?" he asked politely with a warm smile. While he may have been the stronger of the two mages he wasn't going to take the lead just for that reason. He was curious as to how Akame would behave if she were taking charge. He wasn't sure entirely what it was, but something about this girl had caught his attention.

Akame looked over to Marick and nodded to what he had asked. "You take the goblin, and I'll take the Vulcan." Akame stated, "Their powers are unknown, though I'm sure we can defeat them, otherwise." The Vulcan began to laugh in response to what Akame had to say about it. Akame was playing it safe, so far, standing outside of the tracks so they wouldn't get damaged during the brawl- or at least not that much. She looked over to Marick. Just by looking at him, Akame sensed a strong source of magic; one that defeated her own. However, Marick was not her opponent during this fight; the two beasts were. "Begin!" Akame announced. The Vulcan launched a punch at Akame with its gigantic fist, though Akame swiftly dodged it by rolling to the side. However, as she did so, the Vulcan's fist broke through the ground, and left a big gap. Akame clinched her teeth while she saw the impact, just thinking about how mortified the civilians must have felt, during this time.

Akame prepared her sword. She was about to unleash the Tempest Demon Slayer inside her, and show this Vulcan that she was superior to it in this battle. She swung her sword gently to the right while she held it firmly, presenting a silver light for only two seconds. The Vulcan looked at Akame curiously, which made her smirk, in response. The light had disappeared, though nobody but Akame knew what the purpose of its "absence" was- or was it absent, at all? No. The silver light had travelled through a dimensional void, and above this Vulcan in front of Akame, had reformed into a silver tornado, where it would cause havoc upon Akame's opponent. The Vulcan roared in pain while the silver tornado made it difficult for anyone to look at it. When the silver tornado, vanished, however, everyone could see that severe wounds covered the Vulcan. Akame grinned, staring the beast down. "If you are a demon, then I will slay you, for this is my Tempest Demon Slayer Magic!" Akame declared with pride. She looked over to Marick, and gave him a thumbs-up. It was now his turn to take the stand, and show what he could do to that goblin.
