    Name: Lef Draedel
    Gender: Male
    Age: 17 years old
    Birthday: April 8th
    Sexuality: Straight
Special Characteristics: Lef bears a small pale scar next to his left eye.

Personality: Lef is very enamored with the concept of games, he plays them with anyone he can at every occasion he can, whether they be mythical creatures or legends or even a poor old man he will always be up for a game. The boy is intelligent, yet likes simplicity in many things, the world is complex enough as it is, according to him, and needn’t be overcomplicated. Because of this he will often endeavor to find the simple answer as overthinking things isn’t his way of doing things. Though this may seem a paradox as some of the games he plays are complex, he doesn’t find it so as to him games are the simplest things in the universe. Games are people having fun, sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, but what is important is the journey the game takes you through, not the outcome. Due to his habitual games, some may view him as childish; he seems to just pursue the fun experiences in life, whether it is a beautiful game or a beautiful sight. Truth be told, he is joyful and, because of his simplicity, enjoys the small things in life; what he truly wants to do is to head out and see sights no one has ever seen, have adventures no one has ever had and play games with those no one has ever dared. His simplicity also has an impact on how he views things; his childhood has brought him to have a simple wisdom. If a cow dies, one doesn’t mourn his cow or curse himself while his family starves, he must take action and buy another cow. That said, Lef is friendly and loves meeting new people; not only are they potential travelling companions, but they are also possible participants in his games.
Battles are things Lef dislikes very much as he’d much rather be playing a game than risking his skin for any particular reason and because of this he will do what he can to avoid it. Lef isn’t an idiot however, so has still learned how to fight and rather well despite the fact he would avoid them if he can. It is because of this that he developed his magic as it negates the need for any fighting, reducing the encounter to a game. Still, the red haired lad knows that not everyone is willing to play his games with him, and he is ready to do what needs to be done to overcome those obstacles, even if it requires a bit of cheating. Because, what bigger cheat is that which refuses to even play. Lef doesn’t like being in a position of leadership as he more often likes to be an observant rather than a participant, picking and choosing his own targets for his own motives. Being the free willed individual that he is, he dislikes having to bend to the will of others, but is capable of doing so if he recognises the need or value in doing so. If he is forced into a position of leadership, he will most often do what he can to help and aid his subordinates best he can before disappearing. Though he does understand and follow his responsibilities, he doesn’t find himself a capable leader, preferring the act of delegating tasks to subordinates he deems capable.

    Likes:
    • Games: Lef has always been one for games, something reflected by his magic, he likes to mess around and isn’t serious most of the time as, in his opinion, Life is the greatest game of all. He will play them when he can, and can view many things as games.
    • The Rune Knights: If there is one thing Lef is semi-serious about it’s the Rune Knights, he holds them in great regard and has respect for what they endeavor to do; bring peace, order and justice to the magic world. As he states, all games must have rules, and they must be upheld; a game turns nasty when one party stops following the rules. As such, even though he can appreciate a little bit of chaos, Lef much prefers organized chaos.
    • Making new friends: Lef likes company, but even better, he likes to play games, however one simply cannot play games on their own. As such, he is very much elated when he finds new partners with which he can play games, mess around and all around have a good time.

    Dislikes:
    • Sheep: Lef has had to tend to one too many sheep during his childhood. They always got in his way, being the cause of many of his chores; the damn things made sure he didn’t spend nearly every waking hour playing games. Now, Lef doesn’t even know what to do next time he sees a sheep, he might just try playing a game with it to see if it’ll end up in his plate. Of course, Lef knows one cannot play a game with a sheep, and those who don’t play, lose.
    • Chores: He didn’t like them as a kid, he doesn’t like them now. There are much better things to do than chores y’know, like games. Any job or task that doesn’t seem like it could be or turn out to have the possibility of games is considered chores, and chores are bad. Terrible, even.
    • Most dark mages: They don’t play by the rules, and when dealing with them, you can’t either. They force Lef to do things he’d rather not do, and as such he tends to dislike them. Plus, they tend to ruin the best spots for games, and the best people. Sheesh, they should know that less people means less fun, bunch a dimwits.

    Motivations:
    • Playing games: Lef’s goal in life is to play as many games as he can, in as many ways possible, with as many people possible. He wants to play games with peasants, or with kings, with dark mages, or with good mages. All of this because in the end, it doesn’t matter who you are or were, or what you’ve done in your past, when you’re playing a game you just a player. Lef believes that in doing this, in joining people together to play games, he can win the game that is life and that is worth more than anything.
    • Becoming a powerful and renowned mage: Since his goal is to play on equal footing with kings and beggars, he must first become known. So known and powerful in fact that none could reject his offer to play games. Once this is achieved, he will be able to play with all men and perhaps even, with the Gods.
    • Joining the Rune Knights: This is something that Lef wishes to do once in his life. He already feels like he has yet to repay a debt to them for his eye and likes the organization and what it stands for. He wishes to join them and make them strong enough a force so that everyone can play games in harmony, enjoying themselves without the possibility of the night calling them away.

    Fears:
    • Harm to his eyes: Due to a certain event in his childhood, which almost cost him his eye and life, Lef’s left eye was replaced by an artificial eye. However, that event left him scarred in more ways than just the operation had. He instinctively tries to shield his eyes from harm, something he tries to stop doing, but is seemingly unable to do so currently.
    • The loss of joy in simple things: This one of the last things he still has from his former life, and is very much afraid that the world will take it from him. This is one of the reasons he doesn’t stay for extended periods of time in cities and goes for long walks in the forest when he does, helps him enjoy the simple things.
    • Technology: For the most part he doesn’t understand it and doesn’t want anything to do with it. He thinks it’s just as likely to blow up in his face as be of any use to anyone, and prior experience backs this up. This is more of an ignorant fear than it is something that makes him cower, in fact he simply doesn’t trust it, and his ignorance makes him feel uneasy in presence of tech that is recently developed.

    General Appearance

    Height: 6’ 1”
    Weight: 197lbs
Hair: Lef’s hair is red, of medium length and wears it spanning to the sides, though they turn up at the edges.
    Eyes: Sky blue
    Skin Tone: Light
Appearance: Lef is tall  and though he is muscular, the man isn’t overly so. He is of a slim build and has a piercing gaze shaded over by his big eyebrows. The mage always wears his red scarf, a gift from his father when he turned 7 years old, and it is usually accompanied by a small black coat with silver buttons. This short coat is embroidered with silver at the cuffs, lapels and its hem. Under this he is garbed with a white dress shirt which he tucks into his black pants. These are held up by a simple brown belt with an equally simple buckle, to remind him or simpler days. His boots are steel tipped and also pitch. These, along with the gloves he wears, also black, usually complete his attire though he is seen wearing a cloak in the winter months.

    Mkay. Just a couple things.

For guild, please just put Guildless.

And for tattoo, you just put where the tattoo would be if he wore one.

    Bump this when finished
