The Hunter(Nightken,Inspirational Quote,Chaosgrave)

Nightken incapacitated the first enemy with an easy attack, which caused the rest to flee in fear. Conrad let them run by, being wounded he didn't feel like taking another spike to the arm.

"Lets just hope the rest of the fights are like this, This place is beginning to annoy me." Conrad proclaimed.

The two walked into the middle of the room, standing there the pair had a feeling of daja vu.

"How many damn puzzles do we have to go through!!!!" Conrad shouted.

They looked around at the multiple different hallways, then started to look for find clues but to no avail.

"What do we do now, should we just pick one at random." He questioned.

Nightken suggested, waking the unconscious treasure hunter and getting answers from him. The two agreed and walked back over to their fallen foe, Conrad grabbed him by his shirt and began violently shaking him, after a few times eventually he awoke .Conrad stood there holding the man by his shirt,

"You, unless you want to be knocked out again, you're going to tell us anything we want to know." He explained gesturing to Nightken.

The man took one look at him and tried to run.

"Looks like you scared him." Conrad joked while pulling the man back.

"Now tell us what we want to know." He threatened.

"What do you want to know." The man stuttered.

"You know what we want, now give us the location of the treasure." He demanded.

The man reached into his coat, pulling out a piece of parchment. The parchment had a rough map of six hallways that the hunters explored. The map excluded the hallway that the pair came from, leaving one hallway to search.

"This might help us." Conrad stated.

Conrad released the treasure hunter from his grasp, he began pointing and gesturing for him to leave. The man bolted up in an instant and began running. Looking at the map one more time, they decided to go down the remaining hallway.

Seeing the treasure hunter run in terror it made Nightken glad they didn't have to fight for now. Looking at the piece of parchment they were handed something seemed a little odd about the marked paths, but he couldn't tell what it was off hand. Walking down the unmarked hallway it had an odd feeling to it since their steps didn't make a noise. Once they made it halfway through the hallway the walls and floor disappeared causing them to fall. Generating an electric charge at the soul of his feet Nightken was floating and caught Conrad by his uninjured arm. "That was a close one its a good thing I can do this otherwise we'd most likely die from the impact of the fall." He said as they slowly descended the pit. It took maybe five minutes of them floating down the pit before they made it to the ground. The room they landed in was dimly lit by ten torches that were anchored to the walls with only one hallway before them. "Mind if we take a short break? You're a lot heavier than you look." He said taking a seat on the ground once they landed in the empty room. While sitting on the ground Nightken started to stretch his arms and used his Cursed Seal to pull out a new pack of his magic cigarettes. Opening the new pack he pulled one out and started going through his pockets looking for his lighter. Pulling out his black lighter with a blue Fairy Tail insignia on it. Lighting his magic cigarette he took a well needed hit and began to calm down after all of what they've been through. Looking over at Conrad he held his cigarette pack with one sticking out towards his guildmate. "Want one? These type of cigarettes are harmless to the body they just help take the edge off of things." He said to Conrad giving him a simple explanation on the cigarettes.

From his position at the door, Ni-Ju could see that the smallest of the three swordsmen he had followed lying on the ground in a pool of blood. His two remaining compatriots stood shoulder to shoulder in the center of the room putting on a very impressive display of swordsmanship to keep their five attackers from getting to the large pile of weapons and ordinance that lay stacked there. Weighing his chances and coming to a quick decision, Ni-Ju decided to step in before someone brought the whole building down on their heads. Echoing his thoughts in a way that would later haunt many years of sleepless nights, one of the swordsmen suddenly lost his grip on his weapon and it went sailing over his shoulder into a precariously placed pile of rifles causing several of them to discharge into the large gunpowder barrels that had unwisely served as their resting place.

Ni-Ju barely had time to mouth a curse as a series of explosions sent him shooting down the hall like shot from a cannon. For a single idle moment while flying through the air he was struck with one of the soundest thoughts of his life. "Maybe I should have just stayed home and taken a nap." His musings were brought to a quick and quite thorough end as his limp body came into the sudden unyielding embrace of a sandstone wall.

An unknown amount of time later, Ni-Ju awoke to find himself staring at the ceiling through a thin veil of red. Attempting to wipe at the blood on his face with his right hand, he was disappointed to discover that his arm would not respond and hung limply at his side. Ni-Ju sighed wearily and added broken arm to the ongoing mental list of problems to plague him since beginning this quaint little adventure.

Nightken held out a cigarette, Conrad shook his head, declining the offer. He reached into his backpack and pulled out a small metal case. He opened up the case, grabbing from it a long hand rolled cigar.

"I like mine better." Conrad replied while lighting it with a match.

He took a mighty puff and sat down to relax on the ground and rubble around them. Slowly he took his backpack off, his hurt arm was stiff and he was beginning to feel pain from it again. He rummaged through his backpack again, pulling from it the same metal flask he was drinking from before. He twisted the top off and took another drink. The alcohol numbed his pain again but he was running low, he capped it and stored it back in his pack.

"I'll need every last drop of that for later." Conrad thought to himself as he put the flask back.

The two relaxed with their smokes. A large noises could be heard from the end of tunnel. They quickly grabbed their equipment and ran toward the sound. They reached the end of the tunnel, only to be stop by a wall, it was a dead end. Smoke leaked from cracks in the wall, the two look at each other and slammed against the wall. The wall crumbled to the ground, smoke filled the hallway. When the smoke drained from the hallway, the two looked upon a gruesome scene. It looked like a large explosive was detonated on some treasure hunters. The sound of moving rubble was heard behind them, the two looked around to see a semi-conscious Ni-Ju covered in dust and blood. The two rushed over to him, he laid against the wall covered in wounds. Conrad pulled some bandages from his backpack and began dressing his wounds.

Looking into the destroyed room that Ni-Ju was in he could see several charred corpses and severed limbs amongst the dead. "Whatever happened here practically wiped them all out." He said to Conrad as he approached one of the treasure hunters that was still alive. Looking over the person that was still alive it was clear they didn't have long before they die due to blood loss. "H-Help me plea..." Before the treasure hunter could finish their sentence the life in their eyes faded as their body was dead before hitting the floor. "Guess it can't be helped doing this line of work will eventually take your life whether you like it or not." Nightken said as he started to cover the corpses with whatever cloth that was in the room. When he went to check on how Ni-Ju was doing he noticed a hole in the back wall leading to another tunnel. "Conrad you take care of Ni-Ju I'm going to check this hidden tunnel real quick." He told Conrad before walking down the hallway with his only light source being his magic cigarette. It didn't take too long for his cigarette to be out so he flicked the cigarette butt away as it turned into a harmless vapor. While walking down the hallway his foot started to sink as a pressure plate went off, but the sound he heard wasn't one he liked. The sound of rushing water could be heard heading towards him which made him respond instantly by producing his black lightning wings and quickly flew back towards Conrad and Ni-Ju. "No time to explain we've gotta go." He said grabbing onto both of them and flew the way him and Conrad came and flew straight up the open pit as they were chased by a torrent of water filling that area as they arrived above the pit. Landing on the other side the ground actually made a sound which was a good sign to him.

Unbeknownst to the ragtag group of fleeing wizards, the rushing waters below poured through the halls, washing away years of dirt and dust in an instant and in the process revealing a set of elaborate grooves cut into the pale sandstone floor that began to pulse with a baleful grey light as the water filled them. The pulsing light grew stronger and stronger, til it seemed as if it would surely explode or produce some grand effect, then faded down to three small separate dots of light that shot upward at amazing speed; each seeking their individual targets. The trio never saw it coming as each dot plunged into an unsuspecting back with an eye searing flash.

A single moment of vertigo was all the warning Ni-Ju would get that things were not right as he found himself once again falling. The drop proved a short one as Ni-Ju hit cold stone a mere second later, driving the breathe from his lungs and jarring his broken arm. “What in the nine hells is wrong with this place?” he whispered quietly, slowly pulling himself into a sitting position. Fire sprang to life a few yards away as Conrad lit a match and held it aloft to get a better look around.The flickering light revealed a long metal hall filled with vault doors akin to what might be found in a large bank but from the looks of it on a much bigger scale. Ni-Ju pulled himself to his feet with the aid of the wall and began slowly looking around for signs of the third member of their party in the dim fire light. As if hearing Ni-Ju's thoughts a gust of air accompanied by the smell of burnt ozone signaled the end of the match and the sudden arrival of Nightken as he was teleported to join his comrades. "Guess thats what it looks like to arrive here." He joked in order to lighten the mood as Nightken regained his feet with a look that said all to clearly that he was not amused.

The trio found themselves in a strange dark hallway, Conrad felt around trying to find his way through. When he touched the wall beside him, the hallway began to illuminate with light from the ceiling. One by one the lights filled the hallway, the party could see as the lights revealed vault doors lining on each side. The corridor seemed like it went on infinitely, the hallway was fairly spacious, twenty feet across enough room to open each vault door with little overlay. Conrad looked at the other two with a puzzled look.

"What now!" He blurted while pointing down the expanse of vault doors.

The other two shrugged at his question with puzzled looks as well.

"Maybe we should check one at a time." Nightken suggested pointing at the doors.

The party agreed and began walking to the first door on the left. The large circular vault door spanned ten feet by ten feet, Conrad grabbed the large wheel lock and began turning it.

"Looks like it's unlocked" he stated while opening the door.

The heavy door opened slowly, the party stood back while Conrad finished opening it up. It opened to reveal a small hole in the wall approximately two feet by three feet. A small cardboard box the size of a shoe box inside the wall, Conrad reached out and grabbed the box. He opened it up, inside was a small piece of parchment which read.

" The secrets of the vault can only be obtained through the challenges ahead. "

The group looked at each other with annoyed looks and moved on to the next door. Opening the door the party found themselves standing outside a large room filled with beds. The room was empty except for the twenty beds that lined the room.

" Maybe we should get some rest. " He said while looking in the room.

Nightken saw the vaults that was before them and the note that Conrad found in the first vaults. Once they opened the second vault door they saw it was filled with twenty beds that's when Conrad suggested they take a rest here. "You two go and get some rest I'll keep watch." He said to them as he walked into the hallway or at least that's what he thought. All of a sudden his vision began to get blurry as he collapsed onto one of the many beds and was asleep. Hours passed by them as they all fell asleep and dreamed. Nightken was surrounded by darkness until there were flashes from lightning and the feeling of rain hitting him. He instantly realized where he was or to be precise when he was. He was watching the day that his mentor Izunagi died during one of their trips to Thunder Island. Seeing his master teaching him how to control his sudden electric outbursts when he was a kid which he realized that this was almost the part where Lepar shows up and kills Izunagi. He was able to notice things that he never did as a kid such as Lepar appearing as the lightning flashed then shooting several purple lightning bolts towards him and Izunagi. He didn't know if he can do anything, but out of instinct he moved in front of the lightning to try blocking it just it didn't matter since it went straight through him as if he didn't even exist. He saw that Lepar was actually aiming at Izunagi's back where he had his Fairy Tail insignia. Watching the light fade from his mentor's eyes was extremely painful to watch again, but what might have been even worse is the look on his face as a kid when this happened it wasn't a face of sorrow instead it was a look of murderous rage as he glared towards the current day Nightken. "Its your fault that he died you weren't strong enough to help save him." The child version of Nightken said to his future self. "I admit I wasn't strong enough to help him, but I'm now strong enough to kill Lepar for what he's done." He replied to the child version of himself.

Coming back to consciousness on the edge of the bed where he had been placed by his comrades, Ni-began going through the tedious process of checking his body over for non apparent wounds. Running his one movable hand over the likeliest areas to have taken damage, he was startled to find a large sliver of what could only be door frame embedded in the top of his right thigh. Not really surprising given the circumstances ,but certainly not pleasant. Working as best as he could, Ni-Ju tore a large section of sheet from the bed and wrapped it around his leg, just below the wound. Twisting the makeshift tourniquet as tightly as possible, Ni-Ju then placed the remaining ends of the cloth between his teeth and bit down hard. Gripping the exposed bit of jutting metal between his thumb and fore finger, he pulled as hard as could, ripping free a twisted piece of metal about three inches long. Removing the ends of the sheet from his mouth and tying it tight over the wound, Ni-Ju attempted to put weight on it. A slight reddening of the bandage caused him a moment of worry but the leg seemed to hold. "Have to take it easy or I might end up crippled." He whispered, hearing it echo through the vault. Not wanting to over strain himself so soon after taking so much damage, Ni-Ju laid back down and closed his eyes again.

With a fair amount of fumbling and cursing under his breath Ni-Ju managed to use his knife to cut and shape a suitable length of wood from the bed frame to serve as a splint for his arm. Looking like some sort of reject mummy, Ni-Ju made a few slow rounds of the room to double check the leg before going into the hall in search of a place to relieve his objecting bladder. Stepping into the hall, Ni-Ju looked around warily for any signs of intruders. Seeing nothing, he found a spot behind the vaults door and took care of business.

Conrad watched as Nightken sat down and immediately pass out on one of the beds.

" I guess he was tired. " He joked while entering the room.

Conrad moved down the isle of beds and sat down across from Ni-Ju, before he could speak he suddenly fell unconscious . Ni-Ju stayed awake, whatever affected Conrad and Nightken didn't affect him. Conrad fell into a deep slumber, he began to dream of his past. He remembered the day his parents left him. The vision was so clear it was like he was there again in his younger body. The light from the sun stung his eyes as he awoke cold and alone in the gutter where his parents once slept. The feelings of his past washed over him like a flood. Conrad fell to the ground unable to control his body, tears streamed down his eight year old face. His dream turned into his worst nightmare, perpetually stuck in the memories of his past. He relived the memory of that day over and over for what felt like an eternity. Conrad struggled to escape his nightmare but whatever he did he ended right back at the beginning. The emotions began to overtake him, dragging him through emotional barbwire. He ran through his imagination tormented by the memories, with every day came a new figure to torture him. He felt lost in his own head, he couldn't tell up from down or day from night. He committed suicide three times to no avail, he'd just die and restart the day over and over. It was his own personal hell with no escape. when suddenly he felt a sharp pain in his leg, Conrad awoke hours later, drenched in sweat and tears. He lifted his head to the sight of a fork sticking out of his leg. He let out a sigh of relief and wiped the sweat from his face. He pulled the fork from his leg and never thought twice about it, he was just glad that was all over.

Standing in front of his younger self Nightken saw just how much hatred has built up since then. "I'm going now whether I like it or not this is a part of me that will never change. My hatred for that demon will never be stopped until I kill him myself." He told his younger self before everything around them turned black and they were standing in just darkness. Looking at how he was back then he realized he hasn't changed much aside from his progress with his lightning. While Nightken was asleep black sparks of electricity were starting to shoot off of his body, thankfully it didn't catch anything on fire. Waking up he was breathing heavily with the sparks coming off of him without him noticing them until he looked at one of his hands. "Conrad I think I'll take you up on that offer." He said before taking a drink from Conrad's flask that he was handed. He started to cough about how strong the alcohol was, but he wasn't drunk or buzzed just feeling more awake now. "Damn you weren't kidding about it being strong, but I'm glad you have that with you cause I needed that to wake up." He said handing Conrad his flask back and taking a couple of deep breaths to fully calm down making the black sparks to stop shooting off of him and to have the sparks to stop appearing. Standing up slowly so the alcohol doesn't hit him instantly he walked out of the room to the hallway. Looking down the hallway at the vault doors he was trying to figure if any have markings that make it stand out, but unfortunately for him all of the vault doors were identical which just makes it more complicated for them to find the correct door so they can wrap things up.

Finishing up and coming out from behind the door quickly upon hearing footsteps, he spotted Nightken standing in the hall, staring in the direction they had chosen to investigate before their small break. Greeting him with an embarrassed wave, Ni-Ju decided now was as good a time as any to see if any plans had been formed to find which of the doors lead to the real treasure vault. "So any million jewel ideas on how to get us out of this mess?" He asked, unable to keep how tired he was from creeping into his voice. "Thinking on it as we speak." Nightken replied distractedly. Taking that as a sign to go and see how Conrad was faring, Ni-Ju hobbled his way over to the vault opening and poked his head inside. Conrad sat on the bed just across from the one which he had cannibalized holding a fork with what looked like blood covering covering the tines. From underneath the bed Conrad was sitting on, sprang a tiny little man wearing strangely enough what looked to be a very worn set of children's formal attire. Laughing maniacally the entire way, the little man ran past past both startled mages in the blink of an eye. Pointing to each other at the same time in a comical fashion, both mages had to ask. "Did you just see that?". Hearing Nighken swearing from in the hall, Ni-Ju and Conrad both crossed the room and exited the door as fast as possible. What lay beyond was one of the strangest sights that Ni-Ju had ever seen in his entire life. Nightken stood in the middle of the hall struggling as what looked to be a small army of brightly colored balloon animals lay siege to his body. Too stunned for words, all Ni-Ju could do laugh.

Conrad rushed out of the room, helping Nightken with his balloon problem.

"Catch that little bastard. " Conrad asked Nightken

Nightken bolted from his position after the strange creature. When suddenly three treasure hunters appeared behind them.

" I'll take these guys. " Conrad said readying Ragnarok in front of him.

The hunters charged at him with swords ready. Conrad lunged at one striking at him but he quickly blocked Conrad's huge heavy sword. The weight of the sword sent his enemy flying as the others swung down onto Conrad. He quickly used his cloak to distract one and swept the others legs with his sword. He swung around with the momentum from his sword and caught the standing one across his chest knocking him into the wall. He picked up the one on the ground beside him and slammed his head against the ground until he was knocked out.

" Is that all you got, i thought we were going to have a good fight. Iv'e got some anger to let out. " Conrad blurted after finishing the one on the ground.

The other hunter beside him stood back up and struck down onto Conrad's back. Conrad quickly turned around and swung up connecting under the hunters armpit, slicing him sword arm off.

" Strike me while my back is turned, how disrespectful. " He said kicking the hunter in the chest.

The hunter grabbed his arm in pain as Conrad slammed his blade against his side sending him flying. Conrad calmly walked over to the first hunter he struck, as the hunter began to stand back up.

" Stay down and this will be over a lot quicker. " Conrad said still walking at the hunter.

He ignore Conrad's warning and charged at him again. Conrad swiftly dodge his attack and kicked him to side.

" This is beginning to get boring. " Conrad goaded.

The hunter swung his sword at Conrad's chest, only to be countered and pummeled into submission. Conrad kept punching until the hunter was unconscious. When suddenly the armless hunter struck him in the back again. Conrad leapt off his unconscious foe onto the armless one and proceeded to beat him in blind fury.

Once Nightken was rid of the announce that was the brightly colored balloon animals. "Catch that little bastard." Conrad yelled before he started to take on some treasure hunters that just showed up. With his body coated in black lightning he dashed after the little person who ran past him and sent the balloon animals after him. Catching up to the little guy before he got halfway Nightken grabbed him by the back of the collar and picked him up. "You have some explaining to do whether you like it or not." He said walking back to Conrad and Ni-Ju with the little guy in hand. "Why chase after one who isn't truly there when you're oh so close to your goal?" The little man said before disappearing into a puff of smoke. Nightken was irritated with the fact that the little guy disappeared after all the stuff he's done. "Could we just try and wrap things up here?" He asked irritably as a couple of small black lightning sparks came off of his body. He saw that Conrad took care of the treasure hunters that showed up while he was dealing with that weird little guy. Thinking about what that little guy said was tarting to get to him. "Why was he saying we're so close to our goal? Does this mean that one of these vaults are actually the one we're looking for?" Nightken thought to himself as they continued down the hallway. While they were walking down the hallway he kept trying to figure that little guy out since he caused such a hassle for a moment, but he couldn't think of anything aside from the fact he might have just been a trickster. He didn't even know if the guy was even actually there or if it was a powerful illusion.

Ni-Ju stood watching, nearly breathless from laughter, as Conrad rushed into the fray to help destroy the balloon menace plaguing Nightken. The sight of two full grown men fighting balloons was something truly priceless to behold. Finished with their small rubber enemies, Conrad yelled for Nightken to go after the fleeing little man as he turned back to face a new batch of foes that had appeared from the way they had arrived. Wiping the tears from his eyes, Ni-Ju could see that the three men who had shown up were all armed with fairly basic looking swords, to say nothing for their craftsmanship or skill with such weapons.Thinking it over as logically as possible, he decided to leave it Conrad and Nightken. After all both of them had proven themselves as competent mages and neither one seemed that worse for wear either, all things considered. And at the moment he couldn't really provide any help any way unless it involved using his magic. Ni-Ju continued watching as Conrad made short work of the three would be interlopers with a series of violent maneuvers that rendered them unconscious. Turning to look the other way, Ni-Ju saw the tail end of a small, and ultimately futile race, as Nightken grabbed the vexing little man by his collar in a firm grip that clearly said he wasn't going to let go be it hell or high water. The little man however was having none of that. Shouting what sounded like a very bad riddle as he went, the little man disappeared in a puff of bilious black smoke, that's acrid stench reached even Ni-Ju's nose, despite the distance between them.Making sense of this place was becoming more and more strange it seemed, the longer they stayed within this labyrinthian-eske set of vaults.

Conrad finished up his foes and watched as Nightken brought back the imp like creature. Before anyone could do any serious questioning the creature disappeared right before their eyes. Conrad removed his shirt and drenched him self with water from a canteen. The water poured over his wounds, washing blood down his back. He reached into a small pouched tied to his belt, reaching his hand in he pulled a handful of powder. Stretching his arm behind him, he applied the powder to his wounds. The powder contained a coagulating agent which stopped the bleeding.

" That should help with the bleeding. " Conrad thought

" So what do we do now? " Conrad asked.

The others stood in silent contemplation,Conrad reentered the vault and grabbed his gear. Conrad shut the door to the vault with the beds, then sat down to rest after his ordeals. His body ache all over. Pulling his flask of booze out his belt pouch, he took a huge swig. Finishing off the flask, he looked at his silent partners.

" Maybe we should just try seeing if this place has a end somewhere. " Conrad suggested.

" I'll go check. " Nightken said before rushing off in one direction.

The booze numbed Conrad's body, taking his time he continued to form his spell. Conrad stood back up after a few minutes and walked over to the fallen treasure hunters. Taking some rope off his backpack, he tied the helpless hunters together. After he finished with securing the hunters and grabbing them. He dragged his unconsciousness foes over to what he would call the nightmare room. Tossing them in and closing the door once more.

" How long do you think he's been gone. " He asked Ni-Ju who was locked in thought.

" I don't know, ten minutes maybe. " Ni-Ju answered only partially listening to him.

"I'll go check." Nightken said to Conrad as he took off down the hallway quickly. It felt like he wasn't going anywhere with all the vault doors looking the same and this stretch of hallway just going in two directions. Running for what seemed forever he was able to eventually see a gleam of metal from the end of the hallway as he approached. "This door had better be the one we're looking for otherwise that ten minutes of running was pointless." He muttered to himself while breathing a bit heavy since he was running at his normal top speed for a while. Turning the wheel on the vault door he heard a loud click sound as the vault door creaked open a bit allowing him to see inside of the room. When he went to look in his vision was filled with a bright flash like when he carried Conrad and Ni-Ju from the water trap. Once his vision returned he could see that all three of them were standing in the middle of the treasure room with an orb at each of their feet that had a fading glow to them. "I told you before you're oh so close to your goal." The voice of the little man from earlier could be heard in each of their heads. Nightken went and collapsed to a sitting position once everything was over, but noticed that all of the wounds that both Conrad and Ni-Ju had received recently weren't there which made him think maybe those orbs caused a massive illusion while they tried traveling through the ruins. "At least we made it to our goal, but I'm so exhausted from that ordeal. How about we take a rest before leaving and not touch anything just yet?" Nightken suggested while sitting on the ground a bit away from the no longer glowing orbs.

Ni-Ju took a seat in the vault's doorway to wait as Nighken began sprinting down the hall in search of an end to the corridor in which they found themselves trapped. Pressing the back of his neck against the cool metal, Ni-Ju began to slowly stretch out the muscles along his back and legs in a series of lite exorcises that had been shown to him by his master at the start of his training six years ago. As each muscle pulled tight and released he let out a deep breathe and began on the next set, stopping only when he found a group that required more attention then the others. Finished with his stretches, Ni-Ju wiped the sweat from his brow with a hand he quickly realized resembled a coal miner's after a long day. The thought of a bathtub filled with hot water brought a sigh from his mouth."First thing once I get back." he promised himself quietly. With no warning whatsoever, Ni-Ju found himself suddenly blinded by an intense flash of silver light. Opening his eyes as the light died down, Ni-Ju found himself lying upon enough  wealth to buy a small nation with a small crystalline orb sitting at his feet. From inside his head he could hear the voice of the little man that had pranked them. "I told you before you're oh so close to your goal.". Ni-Ju felt like jumping for joy as he realized what the room they were in had to be. Before he could do anything more then sit up, Ni-Ju saw as Nightken plopped down onto a sack of rubies and began to make himself comfortable. "At least we made it to our goal, but I'm so exhausted from that ordeal. How about we take a rest before leaving and not touch anything just yet?"  Nightken suggested. "I think I can second that notion." Ni-Ju replied, pushing himself a little further away from the orb.

YAY LAST POST FOR ME!!!!!!!!!!!!

A bright flash of light passed by Conrad, opening his eyes he found himself surrounded by treasure. Conrad scratched at his back but no wound was found. He let out a sigh of relief but could still feel the pain from the wounds.

" So that was all in my head, it felt so real. " Conrad thought still scratching at his back.

" Looks like we did it guys, we can finally get out of here. " Conrad blurted with excitement.

The group searched around through the treasure, grabbing what they want. The party celebrated a job well done. The treasure seemed so much better after all their hard work. Something started to bug him as he looked through the treasure. When suddenly it hit him.

" Does anyone remember how we got here. " Conrad asked the party.

The other two looked at each other then looked back at Conrad speechless. They sat in quiet contemplation while Nightken finished clearing up the treasure with his cursed seal. Everything was sucked up into Nightken's hand, revealing a plain stone room. All the treasure was gone except one thing, a crystal rod standing straight up in the middle of the room.

" I think you missed one. " Conrad said pointing out the rod.

" That's not suppose to happen. " Nightken said while looking at his hand with a puzzled look.

Conrad walked to the middle of the room and grabbed the item. He pulled with all his might but it wouldn't move, which began to irritate him. Conrad began kicking it trying to budge it from it's position. The rod fell to one side and the room began to shake. The ceiling opened and the floor raised from the ground. The team waited for the elevator to stop, which brought them to the roof.

" Well i guess that answered my previous question. " Conrad laughed.

Before Nightken gathered all of the treasure with his Cursed Seal he found a ring simple silver ring that for some reason he couldn't recall why it drew his attention, but he took it as his reward anyway along with the jewels they get from this job. After gathering everything up there was a what looked like a staff sticking out of the ground which was odd. Conrad tried lifting out of the ground, but couldn't so he resorted to kicking it which caused it to got to the side and made the room rumble. When the staff sticking out of the ground went to the side it caused the ceiling to split apart and had the room rise to the top of the ruins. "Well that is much easier than having to try going back through the ruins. I'll see you back at the guildhall Conrad I'm going to Era so I can drop off the treasure." Nightken said to Conrad before he began generating an electric charge at the base of his feet to float down to ground level. Once he was at ground level his body became coated in black lightning and he quickly moved to Era in order to drop off the treasure they went though hell to get. Arriving to Era he had several Rune Knights stop him from entering. "You're not entering Era without an acceptable reason." The Rune Knight in charge of the entrance said to Nightken. "Look I'm here to drop off an old Wizard Saint's treasure to the Magic Council. If you won't let me in then you're taking the treasure in for me." He said as he dumped the treasure in front of the Rune Knights. They looked at the pile of treasure before noticing that Nightken was no longer there, but was already on his way back to the Fairy Tail guildhall.
