Housekeeping

It was already afternoon when she finally found the house. It was just near the junction where most people of the town walked through when they have work to do. Luna sighed in slight disappointment upon the realization that she wasted her morning searching for a house. Mocking herself as she believed that she could have found it earlier, Luna approached the door. Locked. The house had simple design, one that most people in Fiore would have as their house designs. It was not trending, but it was still rendered as one of the most mainstream designs for a house.

Reading the flyer, Luna kept it away after reading a few lines, squatting down onto the welcoming mat in front of the door. “According to the flyer, there should be a key.. ha!” Luna took the key that was hidden under the mat. “Quite the cliché of a place to hide door keys.” Luna chuckled, opening the door after. “Hello?”

Luna chuckled again. The house was empty and was left for her to care for. How could she forgotten?

Sounds of buzzing died. By then only repetitive sounds electric buzz could be heard. Luna was sitting by the sofa in the living room, observing as the electric trap she set using some electric zapper did its magic. More and more of those small black insects were getting zapped by the trap, much to the maiden’s delight. Deciding she would leave the trap alone for the time being, she went into the bedroom for one final problem.

Drops of water fell into the basin. It was already three quarter filled with water by the time Luna came. “Should a girl like me do such work?” Luna complaint, showing that she still had some feminine side in her. Sighing, Luna took a ladder, climbed it up, and went fixing the leaking roof. It was hard, especially for those with the same sex as her, but she went through it anyway, believing that complaining would not get anything done.

It took about 2 hours before Luna could see the last drop of water fell into the basin, which by then was already filled with water. Wiping her sweat off, Luna again smiled with satisfaction as she solved the last problem regarding the house and the request.

Back to the electric trap, it seemed like there were no more flies to trick, and so Luna had turned the trap off. Getting rid of all that should be gotten rid of, Luna made one last check before leaving, including how Frank the sad bulldog was doing. It still looked sad by the time she checked, and that very much satisfied the purple pink haired maiden.

Packing her things, Luna left the house in a better state than how it was before, cleaner and tidier. Before leaving though, Luna left a note on the refrigerator, hoping her client would read it soon enough.

Closing the door shut, Luna locked it, left the key at the same place she found it, and left with an exhausted smile. She knew what she had to do when she reaches home; a nice, deserved sleep.

Meanwhile, the note flapped over the light gusts of the wind inside the house, still staying on its original position after.

“House is all fixed, hope you could get it to stay the same~!” Was what the note had on it.
