Job Requirements: must have at least one rank D mage, don't wreck the house. Remove or kill all the mice within the house.
Location: Oak Town
Description: Mice are taking over a lovely couples house. They are crawling throughout the house and around 10 mice a day can be seen scurrying about. They need help in getting rid of them and making sure that they won't return.
Prize: 500 jewels per member. No reward if the house is damaged.
“Please get rid of them. They are an extreme nuisance!”
“Yeah sure. I’ll do it.” Lucille’s eyes showed extreme boredom, as this job was one she really did not want to do. It was ultimately boring as she only had to exterminate mice, which really wasn’t hard for even this bumbling couple of idiots to accomplish if they put their minds to it. But no, they had to ask for a mage to do it. And this was a job that would be harder for Lucille to do because of the size of her targets, these were mice not larger animals or people. Killing them would be an absolute chore, as she couldn’t exactly just tear the entire house down and then start murdering them by the hundreds. No, these prolific jerks who owned the building wanted them gone without any damage. Lucille scoffed at the notion, no damage to a building they wanted cleaned of pests. She bet they were thankful that she, a small time Blue Pegasus mage (from what she had told them at least) was taking the job instead of one of those ruffians at Fairy Tail. Although they were legal mages, at least they had the destruction part of doing a job right down.
Lucille sighed as she entered the home, the owners staying back fearful of the small rodents that had infested their home. Truth be told Lucille didn’t mind the little buggers, they did nothing to her and were feared enough to be considered a good way to distract people from the plans that any dark mage could be planning. So maybe she wouldn’t kill them. No, Lucille’s face started to stretch into a sickening grin as she came up with a plan for them. She would gather them all up in one area and release them upon some other unfortunate people, right before she probably slaughtered the masses in a twisted way that would definitely gain the ear of the magic council. So, as to just recap to herself, she wasn’t going to kill the mice, but instead capture them and use them as a device to wreak havoc. Yes, and with the bag she had originally brought for their corpses, she was going to instead use it to hold them captive for only a little bit. First, however, she had to goad the little ones into the bag. Which she planned to, with an evil smirk on her face, by scaring the everloving dickens out of them.
Carefully, Lucille placed her razor rimmed hat on the ground and began to spin it. At the rate it was spinning, it managed to not deal any damage to the poor couple’s floor. But to the little vermin running around, it was a terrifying blade of doom that sent them scurrying around, trying to stay away from it. This made the buggers easy pickings for the blood maid, scooping them up into the bag as they ran around like headless chickens. One almost ran INTO the deadly spinning hat, but Lucille managed to scare the idiot mouse into the bag instead. Her bag started to fill more and more, and soon she was left with only around five more mice. But her bag was filled to the point that anymore mice entering would make it unable to be shut. So, instead of using those five mice as extra tools, she shooed them out of the house, where they ran into the streets of Oak Town, probably going to cause more massive mayhem and damage. Lucille sighed, and then picked her hat of death up carefully, as to not damage herself and probably cause one hell of a ruckus. Lucille then exited the house herself, with the bag slung over her shoulder, and looked at the couple who owned the place.
“Your home should be clear now. I got any mice that were still in hiding, and the place is rodent free.” The blood maid spoke in a monotone voice, and bowed to the two while holding onto the bag that was still moving. The couple smiled gratefully, and after peppering Lucille with thanks and giving her the payment, entered their new home. The Tartarus mage heard their cheer, and simply shook her head in disgust as she began her trek out of Oak Town. While still walking, she glanced around to notice that quite a few people had indeed started to look at her and the bag she carried warily, but with a smile and a wave of her hand politely she got them to ease off and leave her alone. This made Lucille chuckle, and start to hum a tune to herself.
All the while the Tartarus mage was planning what to do when she returned to cleanse Oak Town of the true vermin that infested it.
