The Promised Trip to Magnolia (Open)

As Kara finally arrived in Magnolia Town she was met by the bustle and idle chatter of the many people doing about on their daily business on this beautifully warm sunny day. She put a hand over her eyes and looked up at the sky for a moment. Not a single cloud in sight. Perfect! She closed her eyes and stretched out, letting the suns rays stroke every inch of uncovered skin. For today she'd opted to wear a red tanktop and demin shorts, showing much of her arms and legs to prevent herself from overheating. After all, meeting up with a certain Dragon Slayer whilst all sweaty wouldn't be the greatest of ways to start her visit now would it?

The amethyst-haired girl set her sights on a particularly large building that was on the opposite end of Magnolia. She hadn't ever visited before, but given the size of the building in comparison to its surroundings, it was most likely something of importance. Perhaps even the Fairy Tail guild she'd heard so much about. Perhaps she could grab herself some shopping along the way. After all, Kaligos had been shopping her hometown last time, so why not shop in his hometown? With a grin, she began walking down one of the many streets of the town. Today was going to be an enjoyable day. Hopefully Kaligos or another member of Fairy Tail would be around by the time she got to the guild so that she'd have someone to accompany her.

Of course, given how this was Magnolia, and how Fairy Tail resided there...it wouldn't take too long before something would catch her attention - and chances were that it would be something destructive.

Kara had promised to visit Magnolia today, and of course Kaligos was excited for it. It was his chance to show off a little. The last time he had meet the earth magic user the two had shared a rather enjoyable day together, and now she was coming back. Kaligos had spent the morning prepping. He had washed his long blue hair perhaps more times then he could count trying to get all the sand out, with little luck. It was still a tangled mess, even when he tied back, and his skin still had that grainy filter of sand over it. It was his natural skin, as a dragon slayer, but it was also probably the worst part of being the earth dragon.

He dressed in his best pants, and shirt and vest, oddly enough all things he had bought on his trip to Hargeon, and while he wasn't exactly vain about his appearance his violet eyes spent some time looking himself over in the mirror. There was something about Kara that got his mind racing he wanted to look as good as he could, and while he was almost always a little strange he wanted to do his best. Walking out of the tiny one bedroom apartment he called his home, he walked out and into the town. Going down the road towards the guild hall he sniffed the air the many scents of magnolia were unmistakable, he knew most of the scents of the people inside the guild, and even most of the people he had encountered on the street.

On the other hand it was a big city and it wasn't exactly like he could follow his nose and just find Kara. His guess was of course that she would be walking towards the guild. Kaligos made the assumption and made his own way towards the guild hall. The street he was on just happened to be one of the more main roads inside Magnolia, and as he walked towards the guild Hall in a rather excited hurry, he stopped passing a girl with purple hair and a rather familiar scent. Kaligos turned on his bare heels and gave a rather broad grin towards Kara.

"Welcome to Magnolia Kara." He said with a slight bow. In truth not much had changed with him, he was still a struggling D rank wizards of a renown guild, though he did reciently make the news for his complete and total destruction of Clover Station... even if they only covered the fact that it was done by a Fairy Tail wizard, and didn't actually give the name. "It's good to see you again."

Kara had just considered purchasing a new top, although turned away when she heard a rather familiar voice cut through the various voices surrounding her. It seemed Kaligos had indeed found her, and in a surprisingly short time too. He welcomed her to Magnolia and bowed, causing Kara to chuckle lightly. She wasn't used to having people bow to her nowadays. Maybe back when she lived in Era, but not now she was a mage. She returned the welcome with a bow of her own. "Thank you Kaligos. It's good to see you again too." she replied, before raising her head and looking the younger boy over. He seemed to be a lot fresher today than he had done when he'd visited Hargeon before.

"I can see why you like Magnolia...it's a nice place. I definitely ought to visit more often." She smiled and created a small orb of amethyst in her hand, before offering it to the Dragon Slayer. He'd taken a liking to her particular brand of magic, and he'd probably ask for a small bite to eat before long. "So, are you going to show me what all the fuss is about in regards to Fairy Tail?" she asked with a grin. Truth be told she was genuinely curious about what the guild was like, especially after everything Kaligos had said before. She was excited at the prospect of maybe meeting one or two of the boy's guildmates and learning more about what Fairy Tail was really about - beyond the general destruction and mayhem caused by their efforts in various missions.

Kaligos gave a broad grin as he walked along side Kara. He was more then happy to show her around the city and the guild. Kaligos didn't do much to keep magnolia in one peice in truth he had probably helped break more things than he had ever really fixed, just a few weeks ago he had accedently kicked a Vulcan into the middle of town while performing a mission. That said Kaligos still held a great sense of pride in the community he belonged too with his city, and more then that he held a lot of pride about the guild Fairy Tail. For good or bad Fairy Tail was his home and family, and that meant a lot of good, came on piles of bad. "I'm glad you like it, but really you should reserve judgement for when you actually see the city. I've been living here for a few months now and I don't think even I have been to most of the town. Then again I am constantly on jobs and running around."

Kaligos let out a long sigh as they reached the gates to the guild hall, but he paused for a moment. His hands shook slightly as he went to open the gate and enter the guild area. "I've never brought anyone from an outside guild before... I don't even know the rules for that kind of event... I mean I worked with a few people from sabertooth, and one girl from Lamia Scale, but... those were jobs on neutrual ground..."

Kaligos had seen some of the odd and frankly kind of bizarre punishments their guild leader had handed out in the past. If there was one wizard in the guild he didn't want to cross it was the leader of the guild. Then again it wasn't like he was bringing a member of a dark guild into Fairy Tail. Kara was a friend, but she was a member of another guild... "Uhm just so we don't get in trouble I think it's best if you don't say your in another guild, and..." He looked down too Kara's arms she was showing as much skin as possible but it also meant her guild emblem was clearly showing. He swallowed not really sure what the best mode of hiding that would be.

Choosing the only mode of hiding it he had he wrapped his arm interlocking with her fore arm and pulled her close. Kaligos took a deep breath of air in clearing his lungs. His arm covering her guild tattoo, but it also meant he was basically nailed to her side for as long as they were on guild territory.

"EH?!" Kara looked down at the boy as he gripped her arm and held her close to him. She was about to backhand the hell out of him, before realising what he was doing. She was from another guild. Entering another guild would be like trespassing, and who knew where that would end up. Zuo Cii was insane, but at least he was a known entity. But then again, so was Ebony of Fairy Tail, and she had seemed nice then. What exactly was Kaligos so frightened of?

As the pair entered the guildhall Kara's eyes opened wide. There were so many people here, and the mood and environment was so much more manic and hyperactive than Lamia Scale. As much as she loved her guildmates, this was definitely a welcome change in atmosphere. "This is so...amazing..." The people here varied in numerous ways. There were the energetic ones rushing around like there was no tomorrow, the confident sparkling members, the older more relaxed members drinking at the bar. Every member was their very own character, something that was surprising given the number of members Fairy Tail had in this room alone.

Kaligos felt slightly embarrassed about what he was doing. He was essentially locking arms with her, and then introducing Kara to essentially what counted as Kaligos' extended family. It was kind of embarrassing and Kaligos tried his best to hide his blush from Kara. He was doing this to protect her and himself, it wasn't like the two of them were dating, and he was getting the odd feeling that Kara would normally have beaten him within an inch of his life for a stunt like this. Seeing just how active the guild was, it was kind of a relief. There weren't any explosions going on today, but there was a lot going including a small rather cute creature he had never seen before being launched out the open doors. "What was that?"

"Yeah the fairy tail guild is great. It's not often I actually come here usually i'm out on jobs, but it's always like this. So active and rowdy... and fun." Kaligos said more then happy about his family. Forgetting the creature that landed somewhere outside and the cat scream that took place.  He paused however when he heard the voice of the guild master, and turned towards Ebony. It was hard to picture the fact that he was actually older then their esteemed guild leader, but in truth he was, and not just older he was actually taller then her too which was odd because Kaligos wasn't at all that tall of a person.

To him Ebony always seemed like a Lolita, a term his father had explained to him, but one that Kaligos had never really understood before meeting Ebony. Kaligos gave a smile when she asked about who Kara was, he was both embarassed and a little scared to say the truth. The way that it must have looked since the two had arms locked. "T-this is Kara, she uhm... wanted to know more about our guild." He said stuttering slightly through his sentences. "Kara this is Ebony the guild leader of Fairy Tail."

As Kaligos introduced Kara to Ebony, the purple-haired maiden gave out a sigh. The game was pretty much up now; the drowsy guildmaster obviously didn't recognise Kara outright, but the name would surely be the biggest giveaway. She pulled her arm free of Kaligos' grip and smiled nervously. "I forgot to tell you but...Ebony and I...we've already met. I trained with her and a group of others briefly..." she spoke sheepishly, realising she'd probably gotten Kaligos into considerable trouble, assuming Ebony really didn't agree to Kara being there. In truth, she hoped that their previous meeting would be enough for Ebony to let this event go without punishment.

The Lamia Scale mage turned to face Ebony and gave her a genuine smile. "Lady Ebony...it's nice to see you again. I enjoyed the training I had with you. Forgive me for trespassing, but I promised Kaligos that I would visit Magnolia and I wanted to see for myself just what your guild was like...if you would permit me...I would like to stay for a while and learn more about your guild. If not then...then I'll take my leave." It wasn't often that Kara was this sheepish around people. In fact, the only reason she was sheepish was because the last thing she wanted was to get her friend into trouble. Had she been aware prior to this point, she probably wouldn't have said about seeing what the guild was like.
