It was a normal afternoon in the Fairy Tail Guild Hall. Or rather, just as normal as Fairy Tail could be. As usual, screaming was heard from all four directions of town. The council was probably still focusing on the guild's many problems created just by going on jobs. And of course, there was a brawl starting outside. Surprisingly, it was Ikuto who suggestion such a vulgar demeanor. Usually, Ikuto could not accept the fact of him participating in any brawls, unless he was forced to, whether by his master's orders or by his own choice, Ikuto always did his best to prevent such a rude gesture. In his opinion, it was an usually mean, naughty, and immature welcome, even if they've met before. In exchanging blows, Ikuto believed that one learns more about the other, although not in the way they want to, nor was the information given to either sides good. So he did his best to prevent such vulgar acts. Yet today, he pushed opened the guild doors and yelled out to the members of Fairy Tail.

"Hey all! Mind sparring with me anyone?"

Many heads turned his way, staring as if someone had just blown up the Rune Knights or Magic Council or something. They couldn't believe their eyes, not their ears either. Not sure what to do, most of them just turned back around starting random things like "Ikuto's just joking around!" or "Haha! Ikuto, not a cool jest to play on the newbies!" Although, they simply didn't understand. Today, Ikuto wanted to train. He felt like he did not have enough skill to protect not only the guild, but all the innocent people who die daily, just for a stupid cause that vile mages think is right and just. This was not a friendly matter no more. Everyday, Ikuto knew someone died, not knowing what they did wrong, or sure that they did nothing wrong. Ikuto wanted to stop those who are truly innocent, from Magnolia Town until the ends of Fiore. But no one could expect that from old Ikuto, the one who messed around, with a smile on his face all the time. No one would trust that for once, Ikuto, the one who was considered one of the most talkative members of the guild, that he would actually consider a brawl, much less ask for it. But he sat down, hoping that someone would understand it was not a jest.

Lance heard the mention of a spar and perked up a little from the table he was at. He got up and saw that Ikuto was the one who had asked for one. Lance walked over to Ikuto and pointed to himself with a smirk "I will be your opponent." Lance said as he took off his shirt and threw it to the side. People all over the guild were cheering as he backed up and got into fighting stance.

Lance looked over to Ikuto "I know your stronger than me but still whatever I want to spar. Whenever your ready man." Lance said coughing obviously still a little sick.

Still there was no one that wanted to shake a little stress off with a simple battle. No one until Ikuto heard such a surprising voice, immediately wondering who it was.

    "I will be your opponent."

Ikuto turned around to face his opponent, staring him down, starting to cause a little intimidation. His face gave off a little smile, spotting his current enemy at hand, Lance Knighthunter. Ikuto had heard stories of this man, Lance, hearing about his magic being a physical form of magic, similar to Slayer magic. Another thing Ikuto heard was that he had total control over the element of darkness, controlling the shadows to his very will. Although, he had not seen any of this first hand, Ikuto had no other reason not to. Therefore, Ikuto gladly responded to Lance, hoping that the boy would take this seriously right away.

"Heyo Lance! So you're my opponent for now huh? Well, I'm not going easy to the likes of you, good sir! So this is no barrels held!"

Ikuto started the simple spar off, with some basic hand to hand combat. First off was a frontal assault, for Ikuto dashed towards Lance, throwing one punch to the left of the guy, while two on the right, hoping to knock him up, and get him on guard. Then he remembered what he said, so he changed battle strategies to all-out attack. With a sudden change in gear, Ikuto started with something that could fit this kid, in terms of rank, therefore D-Rank moves.

    "Light God's Palms!"

The God Slayer dashed forward with light speed, hitting Lance in the stomach with a simple holy palm attack, knocking the boy back two feet. Cheering was coming from all around the guild, each mostly congratulating Lance for taking on such a hard hit, and having the willpower to battle Ikuto, being an H-Rank Mage.

"Your move now, good sir Lance!"

Lance got pushed back a few feet it hurt a lot, but it was fine he had been through more pain before. "Shadow..." Lance said as he sucked air into his mouth "Mist" he then said as he blew all the air out of him. A dark purpleish mist came out of his mouth and filled the whole room.

Lance silently snuck up behind Ikuto and tried to deliver a swift, hard kick to the side of his body. Lance then jumped back and waited for Ikuto to make his next move.

Simon was pleasantly surprised by this turn of events, Ikuto one of the main perpetrators responsible for turning the rough and tumble Fairy Tail into a writhing mass of pacifist push overs was starting a fight? He struggled to not burst out laughing at the thought. Then when Lance faced off with Ikuto, Simon couldn't help but snicker a bit he actually thought Ikuto was ser- oh fuck. Seeing the God Slayer initiate an attack at Lance Simon knew 1 of 2 things were true; 1. this was a test or 2. Ikuto was serious. Either outcome warranted Simon's next course of action. Seeing Lance take the hit Simon realized that Lance didn't have a prayer, even with a D-Rank Spell Ikuto was simply too fast for even Simon to consider trying to dodge. He muttered under his breath "bakame"

The way Simon saw it he had one chance to do some damage, and that was with a combination of speed and stealth and even then the odds of success were mind bogglingly low. Being towards the back of the guild hall there was a large distance between Simon and the fight at hand, Lance could potentially be defeated in the time it would take for Simon to charge the distance straight forward considering the vast power gap and somehow Simon had to cover the distance without being seen or making a sound. So he took to the support beams across the roof of the guild with a super powered jump in a silent room the sound of the jump would have been obvious but the guild hall had risen to a violent din as Ikuto took the fight to Lance; so Simon had gone unheard, for now.

Simon dashed across the beams holding the roof up, he had done this many times to get around past the writhing masses of people in the guild and to avoid fights more than once. He crossed the gaps between them in rapid movements that were more like jumps then steps, Simon humored himself trying to imagine how difficult this would be for him if he had not possessed his high speed magic.  However the thought was severed by first the urgency of the situation and second by the fact that this would not have been difficult at all without his magic; it would have been impossible. The young mage cursed himself whenever his steps made any sound despite the fact that Ikuto would need the hearing of a god to hear them. He crossed the distance in almost no time at all, but in a fight between and D and an H-Rank mage, no time was a very long time. He didn't have to examine how the battle had developed since he started moving.

Having finally crossed the guild hall to the area of the fight, Simon made his move. Jumping from the beam he had stopped on he flew to the ceiling in a perfectly straight line above Ikuto, than he pushed off the wall with his legs mustering as much power as his body and magic would allow. At this point Simon noticed the haze that had filled the room, it gave Simon cause to worry that he had chosen the wrong target; but the power of Ikuto shone like a bon fire, and well Ikuto himself kind of shone like a bon fire so his concern was minimal. As he rocketed downwards, Simon pulled back his right leg then whipped it downward at Ikuto's head when he was only a foot above him. He could only hope he had gone as unnoticed as he thought he had. There was also the worrying factor that his attack would bounce harmlessly off Ikuto, but it was a bit too late to be worried about that.

Seeing Lance pushed back, Ikuto let out a small snicker, signaling that even with him being serious, this was far too easy, if not a joke. But his snicker was wiped off his face when all of a sudden a shade of purple mist blocked out Ikuto's vision, not only doing that, but it seemed to make him way weaker, as the poison of the mist suddenly went down his nostrils and followed that path to his organs. Every breath seemed like another second off his life. BAM! From out of no where, Ikuto was kicked backward, shooting two feet from his original spot. He quickly arose from the shock that damage had been done to him by a D-Rank Mage, but as he took a quick glance around the hall, he spotted the point that he had no exited the darned hazy mist. But no one knew the secret of the God Slayer. Maybe they have heard of the White Dragon Slayer Shuhei and his special abilities and what not, but never of Ikuto. Ikuto raised his palm into the air and from that palm, he caused a bright radiant, yet somehow black in color, light. With this being said, Ikuto had the idea of illuminating around the mist, having no doubt that his light would dissipate it. But luck was not on Ikuto's side, no it wasn't. For the mist not only did not disperse, but out of no where, again, a feet at speeding fast abilities, showing that it only belonged to one person in the guild, struck Ikuto against the head, making the God Slayer a little more hazy.

"Damn, maybe if it was Lance alone, I could take it. But both of them? You're speaking the impossible."

Even if Ikuto was an H-Rank Mage, taking on D-Ranks would be impossible for him, as he had no practice over his abilities. Simon who was inconsiderably fast, Ikuto could dodge. But that was if only there was no mist. Lance, Ikuto could take on, on the contrary and the point that Simon was the one Ikuto had to worry about most. Seeing as he could not make a choice who to take out first, he had to make an idea of how to take them both out at the same time. And then there was still the mist, that can last for quite a high amount of time. Ikuto simply used his powers of light speed and made his way out of the quarreling guild and onto the entrance of the guild, where the mist had not reached and where Ikuto could let out a bit loose. The question now was, would they take the bait?

Lance snickered and shook his head at Ikuto moving out of the guild he wasn't worried about Simon right now so he decided to go after Ikuto. He simply walked outside and noticed that he was a little out of breath. Lance shook it off and smirked "This is the first fight that I have been serious in a long time!" Lance said as he turned around and lunged off the guild walls and did backflips in the air landing behind Ikuto with the palm of his hand raised "Shadow ball!". Balls made out of some shadow form came out of his hand and heading toward Ikuto.

Lance snickered as he jumped backwards "I got to keep out of close range with Ikuto or else I'm done for." Lance thought to himself as he remembered who else was in this fight "I also got to look out for Simon..."

Simon was surprised by the success of his assault, but his victory was short lived. His saw Ikuto shrug off his strike and flee the guild to get away from the mist which was to be expected, but then Lance chased after Ikuto. "You've got to be kidding me." Simon face palmed, Lance was pulling bone headed move after bone headed move. Knowing it was too late to leave the fight alone, Simon left the guild via a side window. Once again he was blind to the developments of the conflict, but the conflict was blind to him which was how Simon prefered it. He could already tell this battle would just be sneak attack after sneak attack until Ikuto managed to get a hit on him and naturally that would be the end of that.

Only allowing himself a few seconds to recuperate Simon charged into Magnolia town doing his best to through the streets fast without causing a commotion. After barreling through people, hurtling small buildings and narrowly avoiding toppling a cabbage stall, Simon had rotated around the guild from the side he had exited to the front side while remaining hidden within the the city. Simon could feel the strain all the running was having on his body and magic power, he quickly realised drawing this fight out was not an option.

To his knowledge Lance had kept Ikuto's attention, and that neither of them knew of his whereabouts. At least he really hoped they didn't know, it would have really sucked to take a detour that long and lose the element of surprise anyway. There was a large area Simon would have to cross to get from the cover of the city to the Guild Hall, plenty of time for Ikuto to notice him, so Simon had to go at the run full tilt if he wanted a chance of getting a hit off. He closed the distance in only a second before jumping into the air towards Ikuto and clapping his hands together "POWER SPIKE!" he formed a ball of vibrant energy in his hands, he was only a few feet from Ikuto when he smashed the spell down at the godslayer. Despite being right in the heat of the battle Simon felt he could only watch and pray for a good outcome.

Easily, Ikuto saw the balls of darkness this time, heading towards him. He easily sidestepped them all with ease. If anything, Ikuto was swift, for how else would he overall obtain the position and magic of Light God Slayer? Then, without a second thought, Ikuto noticed that Lance had just jumped back, giving a wider distance away from them both. The way Lance moved made it pretty obvious to anyone that he was trying to gain some distance, but just to make it hard for the boy, Ikuto dashed forward, using his abilities, negating all possible attacks that Lance was planning from a far distance. But all of a sudden, a slight sound becomes loud and later, a din, signaling that someone was above. Looking straight up, Ikuto noticed that it was Simon, the only one who could've landed such a blow against Ikuto.

    "Power Spike!"

That was the only thing Ikuto heard before he saw what was coming, with only a slight glance of what seemed like vibrant energy, taking the shape of a ball. Dodging was simply Ikuto's best and probably only maneuver at the time being. He super-sped his way out of the explosive attack, going behind it's caster. With Simon is range, Ikuto used a special attack, coming from the top of his head. His last hit being a D-Rank Spell, Ikuto wanted to bump the difficulty up.

    "Light God's...Shotgun!"

A black glow in his hand formed and out came a single black ball. Midway reaching Simon, the ball split itself into five smaller pieces, all going in different directions, yet aiming for the boy.

Simon hardly saw the spell before it hit him. As soon as he saw Ikuto dodge his spike, he knew it was over. It wasn't like he expected to win, but well with how well everything had been going to that point he thought just for a moment that maybe...... ah whatever it was a foolish idea to even consider that 2 D-Ranks could over come an H-Rank godslayer. Anyway, so Simon had just enough time to look to the side to see these blinding lights racing towards him. He couldn't have been in a worse spot, first he hardly had  time to realize he was being attacked (well actually he didn't even realize what was happening till he hit the ground) then there was the fact that we was still mid air and even if he was on the ground and perfectly aware of the danger he was  in he wouldn't have been able to dodge in time.

The first thing Simon felt was a thud, an impact that made his entire body jerk and knocked the wind out of him and sent him racing to the ground; but instantly afterwards he felt a violent wave of pain shoot through his body he tried to scream in pain but he didn't have the air to let out anything more then a shrill groan as he hit the cold hard ground and his vision rocked and blurred. He curled up on the ground clutching his side where the spell had made impact and all he could do was curse Lance's bone headedness and his own weakness as his vision slipped into black. Then his body just relaxed and slumped out on the ground.

Blacking out was a funny thing at the time the pain feels like you could never forget it but then when you wake up you can hardly recall it at all.

In a quick succession, it seemed that Ikuto's spell hit Simon dead center. But in that moment, the guy fell weak to the floor, his body limp, seeming lifeless. Inside, Ikuto knew that Simon was okay for the time being, but anymore hits from anyone could damage the kid beyond repair. So improvise he did, running to the boy, picking him up. Using his powers and control over light, he overruled the laws of physics into his favor, in a flash, popped up into a room of the Guild Hall, another flash, he was again outside. Now, although he had severely hurt the D-Ranked mage, he knew that there was only one left. Running left and right around the whole town, Ikuto finally spotted the mage of the shadows, standing still or it seemed.

"Lance, my good friend. I've landed a blow on you, yet where's your attack on me?"

Ikuto questioned the boy, with a sort of a taunt and snicker in his retort. Not sure with what the kid would reply with, Ikuto continued on, hoping to urge Lance to suddenly attack with full force, knowing that the kid was a bit hot-headed on his part. He wanted the shadow mage to expel all his magic power on nothing, then to simply finish the kid with a slight punch. Light, delicate blows that couldn't hurt a fly, onto Lance, seemed a bit hard to believe, yet with careful planning on Ikuto's part, he knew it could be done. Now would Lance again follow up on the bait?

Testing the Abilities of a God Slayer Empty Re: Testing the Abilities of a God Slayer

Leonard helped Ebony with the paperwork today because it was so many, more than normal. He was seated at the front of the Guild Master's table and he was holding, writing, and reading some papers. "These papers are getting more and more numerous and problematic. I mean some of these report damages that are so out of this world, even for a Fairy Tail mage." he said calmly, trying to kill the boredom in their work.

After a while, Leonard felt a strong magical force similar to Ebony's. He assumed she felt it too, it was Ikuto's magical force. Clearly he's having a fight downstairs, and his theory was proved when he heard noises outside. He quickly turned to Ebony and said "Iku's in a fight downstairs. We better stop them!" Afterwards, he got up from his chair, and ran towards where they were fighting, hopefully they weren't too late to stop any major damages.

Lance got dealt with some damage leaving him on the ground wincing in pain. When he heard Ikuto ask when another one of his attacks were coming "Fine you want my magic to be at its strongest?" Lance growled as he started to get up "Take control!" Lance yelled as a loud laugh could be heard coming out of Lance, when the laugh was done Lance was left with an evil smile on his face as he opened his eyes which were now blood red. "I have been waiting for a chance like this!" Lance yelled in a more deeper and demonic voice as he swiped his hand through the air. "Darkness!" Lance called out and as soon as he set it the sky started to become pitch black making the entrance to the guild almost pitch black.

Lance smirked and lunged toward Ikuto with blinding speed and attempted to hit him in the stomach with a hard punch. Lance then jumped back "This is starting to become fun! Light against Dark! Hahahahaha!" Lance laughed hysterically as people from the guild were watching them from the windows starting to become scared.

Testing the Abilities of a God Slayer Empty Re: Testing the Abilities of a God Slayer

The sky turned dark and hazy, similar to the scene of the earlier spell from Lance, Shadow Mist. Despite the fact that it seemed to make all lands of Fiore to contain this unnatural shade of purple, Ikuto knew this was a different magic, nothing like his previous move, Shadow Mist, where even with his light-based magic, Ikuto couldn't see through it. This was totally different, giving Ikuto the chance of illuminating the darkness around him.

"This is starting to become fun! Light against Dark! Hahahahaha!" Lance spoke, as he laughed hysterically, again unnatural.

Looking over to the side of the building, Ikuto noticed that even the ex-spectators who were originally enjoying the sight of the friendly brawl, into what morphed into a game of death match. Was this Ikuto's fault, starting all this in the first place? Maybe Lance for taking it too seriously? When the Light God Slayer thought the fact of such thing materializing, he held all blame onto himself. It WAS his fault for such a thing happening, for he should've kept his traditional charisma. But, of course, even the somber Ikuto, thought to have had nothing to do with avoidable feuds, was a Fairy Tail member, having his blood to boil up from time to time, itching for a clash. Without another doubt, Ikuto had to end this death game, or else it would've continued on and on, taking the whole town with it. Turning the difficulty up a notch once again, Ikuto attacked with an A-Rank spell, he attempted to cast Light God's Bellow, one of his signature moves.

    "Light God's...ARGH!"

He was interrupted by a twinge of pain shooting up his arms into his head, although his eyes saw nothing out of the ordinary and he was sure that nothing had physically hit him. Lance had made no move yet and Ikuto didn't seem to see any darkness, whether black or purple, coming from Lance. He had another second of pain, them his vision, blurry. A hard mask established itself around Ikuto's face, as he showed a face of pure fear of the current situation. Soon enough, the mask had taken over, rendering Ikuto's normal self, different, showing great hatred to mankind, or so it seemed. Although, such a thing should've been impossible for the former Light God Slayer, demonic Ikuto formed the pose of him eating "Light" yet there was no light at the time being, besides his own. Ignoring all supposed logic, demonic Ikuto successfully ate his fill, confusingly, it wasn't light. It was Lance's darkness. And as if that wasn't bad enough, he finished his spell that was paused before. No sound came from the possessed Ikuto but by widening his mouth, Ikuto's magic collected in his mouth, shooting out like it should've, but in terms of sight, the color of his magic seemed a bit...darker and evil. Normally, Ikuto's magic was a shade of purple, signaling evil but it gave off warmth, tenderizing all within range. With the beam of darkness, Ikuto shot it towards Lance, surely a death factor right then and there. What would become of Ikuto, what would become of Lance?

Lance got exited when Ikuto went crazy, This side of Lance loved it when people went crazy because of him. He noticed that Ikuto's magic was now more darker and smirked as he quickly ran and jumped out of the way of the beam that was shot at him when it hit something dust flew everywhere and the mixture of the dark and the dust made Lance's red eyes illuminate through it all. Lance looked down at his arm and noticed it was bleeding from when he hit the ground earlier. He smiled at the sight of the blood and laughed and evil, demonic, crazy laugh. "Shadow claws.." Lance mumbled to himself as his claws unsheathed out of his hand, it was now or never and rushed out of the dust with his crazy, evil smile "Don't worry I wont kill you! HAHAHAHA" Lance laughed as he tried to stab Ikuto in the stomach with his claws. If this attack hit it would surely end this fight but Lance wasn't certain.

Lance saw the people shaking inside the guild and saw that blood on this body and his opponents body and licked his lips "I love this sort of game this is fu......" Lance started to say as he felt tired all of a sudden collapsed to the ground, Lance had passed out due to the magic power he was using up.

When he awoke his eyes were back to normal and he was incredibly tired. he got up and rubbed his head "What happened? All I remember is me fighting you and everything whent black. I know I didn't have these injuries before....." Lance said as he limped back inside the guild to spectate the rest of the fight. When he got back inside people were staring at him with fear in their eyes and he looked at them back "What?". Lance walked over to a table by the window and sat down.

Testing the Abilities of a God Slayer Empty Re: Testing the Abilities of a God Slayer

This feeling was simply indescribable, yet Ikuto had a urge to describe it. To simply put it, Ikuto saw things out of his own eyes, yet he knew he was not himself. It was as the Demonic Mask he kept a secret from everyone, took over Ikuto, which it had. But not only did it just take over his ability to fight, no. It took over his ability to control himself, including his whole body. As his head...no, the Demonic Mask's head moved, Ikuto's eye darted around relentlessly, trying to discover even a slight hope to escape. Alas, there was no chance, so Ikuto stopped wasting his energy. In addition, he just peered around out of his eyes, seeing that Lance walk over to a table, one that had a window to peer outside, checking the scenery. The kid was in bandages and looked as if he's died once, come back to life, yet still felt the after effects of hell itself. Ikuto knew that he was responsible for this.

"Hopefully Leonard can do something about this. Maybe even Heero..."

But the moment he said that, a dark ancient voice spoke, every word stung Ikuto's...errr...the Demon's body.

"Childish dreams, Ikuto. Do you really want me stopped? Think it over."

A series of head turned as the Demon spoke. Clearly, it showed that even though Ikuto could think the thoughts, the Demon couldn't response like that.
