The Kiju Rises!

The mountains of Fiore are not gentle or kind to man or beast alike, yet many climb them to seek the guild hall of the Silver Wolves, at the behest of it's guardians who surround it's slopes. As a young woman approached from the south, it's guardian wolves flanked her sides, leading her to her destination. Her confident stride and steely gaze burned it's way through the snowstorm, a faint glow underneath her clothes as she walked further. Her hair was frozen sideways by the winter storm, yet she did not seem bothered or deterred. The wolves stopped for a moment, turning to see the young woman as they reached the end of their part of the journey. She looked side to side, assessing for a single moment, before nodding as they set off back where they came. The young woman took a large, breathy sigh as she walked through the whiteout for a bit longer, now without her companions keeping her warm. She'd have to make do for now, she supposed, as her exosuit's small ports began to glow, and underneath her collar steam rose up from the difference in temperature.
It wasn't long before she entered the large magical barrier that surrounded the guild hall. As she walked closer, she shook out the ice in her hair as the light beneath her clothes dissipated, and approaching the huge double doors of the hall she heard the muffled noises of business and conversation. She snarled before pushing with all her might against the ancient wood, the hinges slowly creaking as they gave way to her efforts. As the doors opened inward into the building, the young woman walked confidently forward into the bustling foyer and drank in the sights. Mages young and old peppered the room as they drank or discussed their typical business, a single person breaching their hall barely below their notice. As she walked further into the hall, eyes drew up to catch a small glance of her, a hint of curiosity betrayed in their stares. She paid them no mind, for they were beneath her...Siria was here for much bigger things.

-Silver Wolf Guild Hall, Leona's Room-

Feeling like she had been hit by a speeding vehicle after pulling an all-nighter in the office that never seemed to end, Leona slowly dragged herself out of bed and took a quiet breath as she rose to her feet. She had worn a green tank top and green, white, and gold skirt to sleep in and they looked like it. There was no way in Fiore that she was going to wear what she had slept in to the office, so the Wizard Saint needed to change into something that was not wrinkled.

Leona walked over to her large wardrobe and fished out a long-sleeved green t-shirt and khaki cargo pants plus a pair of socks, then walked over to her bed and changed into the new outfit. She left her sleep clothes on the bed and found her white tennis shoes off to the left of the bed, which she then put on. Now dressed in clean and unwrinkled clothing that was more appropriate to someone of her status than the casual attire she had been wearing, Leona quickly brushed her hair into place with her right hand, left her room to go to the guild cafe and get a cup of coffee before visiting the office.

-Silver Wolf Guild Hall-

Since she did not have any urgent tasks to focus on, Leona casually walked through the guild hall since there no hurry to get to the cafe. As she walked she felt a magic signature from somewhere within the guild hall and decided to find its source, if only to see if who it belonged to. It had been awhile since any prospective new members had visited, but that did not mean the source was a mage looking to join Silver Wolf. Maybe they were just a visitor looking to partake of the amenities offered by the guild hall.

When Leona reached the source she noticed that it came from a young woman sporting pink hair and brown eyes, but that was not all about her that drew the blonde's attention. The other person was several inches taller than the Wizard Saint and had a physique that exuded physical fitness. They were also wearing a fancy-looking suit of some kind that Leona had never seen before... it looked way more sophisticated than her Arctic Armor or Desert Survival Armor.

Undaunted by the tall stranger, Leona spoke to them.

"Hi there. I'm Leona Jarnefeldt, Guild Mistress of Silver Wolf." Leona introduced herself by using one of her titles from the start so that the stranger knew exactly who they were speaking to.

As the stranger's gaze drifted slightly downward to Leona, her nose wrinkled in disgust at the woman's appearance. Sure, it was nice...okay looking at worst. Clean, well kept, appropriate for the weather. Yet, despite all that, the young woman did not believe it to be a dignified appearance for someone of such high stature. Such casual appearance, and without any authority in it! It was a thought that quickly passed through her mind, before she realized how she had lost control of her expression for a moment and quickly looked away, clearing her throat.

"Excuse my manners, Guild Master. My name is Siria Glazcer. I was sent for by one of your guild members to join as a new recruit. He is a...friend of mine. Yes. That is the word." Siria's method of phrasing and dialect indicated she was not a native Fioran, though her exact accent was hard to place. A generous guess would be that she had been well traveled in her formative years.

A casual glance at Siria's appearance could easily discern her from anyone in a crowd. Her bright pink hair was like a big glowing sign showing where she was at all times. Her exosuit that covered her from neck to toe did not help keep her inconspicuous either. It was a combination of grays, oranges, and blacks, fitting together in thin, interlocking plates, and all designed to fit her form nearly perfectly. Along various points on her body, notably where joints met or in the middle of the outside edge of some of her limbs, were large ports that glowed a faint pink, just like her hair, and pulsed slightly brighter and weaker. If one paid closer attention they could even notice the pulse was in rhythm to Siria's breathing. Clearly this suit was highly advanced and designed specifically for her. One might wonder where she got it.

"So if you don't mind, Guild Master, should we discuss this more? Or perhaps I should connect with my friend first? There is very little in the way of simple communication to them, so this would be the first time we would be talking in a while."

Leona listened to the newcomer speak and soon learned her name, which was Siria Glazcer. The young woman had a distinctive accent to go with her distinctive appearance and suit, but that was not something the blonde focused on. Instead she focused on something interesting she had been told by Siria; Leona had no knowledge of the fact that one of Silver Wolf's current members had called the pink-haired young woman to the guild hall. That fact was quite interesting, but it was nothing that would prevent Siria from joining if she wished to do so.

Looking at Siria's advanced and colorful suit, Leona had no idea who made it or where it came from. She had never seen anything like it before, but she had little knowledge of high-tech equipment other than what she used and even then she did not have perfect knowledge of its functions. For example, she knew that her Desert Survival Armor had the ability to absorb moisture in the air to make purified water, but she did not understand how the technology worked. Like she had thought earlier, Siria's suit seemed to incorporate technology that was more advanced than what was in the blonde's two high-tech pieces of armor and it was definitely more colorful... in a utilitarian sort of way.

Looking Siria in the eyes and recalling what they had recently said, Leona decided to discuss the matter right now.

"I'd be glad to talk about the subject with you, Siria. We can have your friend present or it can be just the two of us. It's your call." Leona offered to speak to the newcomer about joining Silver Wolf. Siria could hold the conversation with Leona alone or it could be held with Leona and the young woman's friend... the blonde would go with either option the young woman chose.
