Description:
Within the ruins of a country across the sea, this tome was discovered in what looked to be an ancient medical facility. Strangely, it was in perfect condition and dust-free, and even though it had been buried for hundreds of years, its pages contained details on medical information discovered up to the present day. In fact, perhaps even more advanced information that has yet to be discovered might reside within. It was taken to a library for studying but was hijacked on the way and it faded into legend.

While it was floating around in the world, many hands have turned its pages. Many legendary healers have benefitted from its miracles, and still, more depraved souls have warped its passages to enact horrific modifications and tortures upon civilization. One stipulation is the book has is the heart-shaped container on the front must contain blood for the book to possess any of its magical abilities. Whose blood it is doesn’t seem to matter. Another important note is that the book won’t work for the user forever. Eventually, it will shut itself and lock, forcing it to be passed on to someone new [Note: This is plot. The book will work for the user as long as the user wishes].

Description: Though most of its pages are dedicated to physical, non-magical medical practice, there are quite a few pages at the back of the book detailing the secrets of healing magic of all sorts. Fueled by enchanted blood in accordance with these last pages, the book passes its benefits into its user. This passively buffs the user’s Spell Healing by a user rank advanced passive percentage multiplied by 2x.

Upon touching allies in range, it will heal them with a flurry of little red crosses. The book’s blood container on the front pulses in the user’s hand, blessing all affected by the ability with a user rank advanced active buff to their Spell Healing.

Description: Though some assume that all doctors swear to do no harm, some may choose to stray from this code of ethics. By grabbing the book’s tubes that circulate the blood within the heart-shaped container, the user can command the needle-tipped tubes to strike out around them and stab opponents. Whether the user is siphoning their blood for the book’s benefit or pulsing some of the corrosive blood into their opponents, they will take damage and receive an illness-like effect that drains 5% of the opponent's HP per turn for the rest of the ability's duration. A number of strikes equal to the maximum duration of this ability may be performed in any given post it is active.
