Special Characteristics: Over the top of his left eyebrow are a pair of diamonds, much like what would be seen on a playing card, a mark from his circus days. Since his freedom, he has also gotten a set of butterfly wings tattooed on his upper back, touching from shoulder to shoulder.

Personality: Philemon is by nature a thrill seeker and opportunist, masking his actions as part of boredom and a need for consistent excitement. He hardly puts on the face of a serious man and even his heated interactions generally keep a playful demeanor behind them. A natural curiosity comes alongside a very extroverted personality, far from afraid to make friends and introduce himself to new faces. Usually offering himself as the bridge between conflicts and trying to work tensions down with his playful banter, and resorting to actual conflict last. It's hard to refer to him as a team player as he tends to have his own plan and motives, but he does still keep the idea of teamwork and comradery alive and works to ensure the least amount of harm comes to those he works alongside, though is far from eager to throw himself face first into peril in the process.

Though beyond his guise, Philemon still lives with his personal belief of freedom and choice, and aspires to sever the chains of those who have found themselves under someone's oppression. While he plays himself as a hero for fun, his roots being as they are keeps a flame alive within him to actually strive to protect others. Though he will often keep his pokerface on and smile and laugh through things, on the inside he is driven to actually be a hero. His pokerface being the one thing he's decided to keep no matter what, a face that laughs through the danger and smiles through the heartache. His kind soul and golden heart only breaking past his charade to those able to see the signs, as he would rather keep up a mask to inspire others like himself to always keep laughing no matter how much pain they have suffered.

Likes:

• A major fan of various sweets and baked confections, and will often not miss a chance to sit down and indulge a bit like a glutton.
  
• As much as it does bring back bad memories, it is hard for Philemon to ignore a good melody and an excuse to dance. If anything music becomes his quickest excuse to put on an impromptu performance.
  
• A very soft spot for the youth, and just as much as music will Philemon put on a performance or entertain the young. Nothing brings good memories to him as much as the cheering and laughter of a child.
  

Dislikes:

• Performers without soul, people who took up a dance or instrument just for the sake of fame or cash and doesn't live the muse.
  
• Hostilities without reason, he will actively taunt and tease someone being angry for no reason to try to make a joke of it all.
  
• Sour anything. Medicines, food, candies, the sourness just riles him up and makes him feel ill.
  

Motivations:

• To always hold a smile and a laugh no matter how dire the situation may be, to inspire those around him not to fall to despair or turmoil.
  
• To find a way to sever the chains and bonds of anyone forced to serve outside of their choice, and break them from the oppressions.
  
• To attain himself a home he can truly call such, not just a home of people forced to be one. A real home of people who welcome him with open arms.
  

Fears:

• A return to slavery, the idea that he may find himself in binds under a master's heel once more. Alongside the sight of others forced to serve a tyrant.
  
• Spiders. Long has he developed a distaste for the creatures, and its hard to be close to their presence without reliving finding them among the beds and supplies of the circus.
  
• Circuses. He understands not all of them are as bad as what he suffered, but its near impossible to be near one without reliving the days he had to perform.

Appearance: Philemon keeps a rather dapper appearance, to the best of his ability. At minimum seen in a pair of dress pants, with a white collar shirt underneath a formal vest. A pair of leather shoes with short but thick heels that clack loudly as he walks. At times over this a formal coat with a neckerchief and a white pair of formal gloves. Almost always seen with a street magician's tophat, at the very least in hand if not warn. Often times too he'll carry a small cane with him, his guild's crest in the tip of the cane. His ears are pierced twice at the lobe, black rings that click together as he walks.

His frame is athletic, a dancer's frame. Fair skin as he keeps to indoors and outdoors rather evenly, with his dark hair normally tied back in various fashion. Light blue eyes with a kind gaze, a gentle smile to match, and a lack of facial hair that gives a smooth appearance. He bears the twin diamonds from his days in the circus on his left eyebrow, and does nothing to hide them at all. Just the same as if one was to catch him shirtless, he doesn't shy away from showing off the numerous healed scars from his forced servitude.
