    iLac Empty iLac

Post by Guest 3rd June 2020, 8:40 am

After the events of her and Aoi’s mission, Kalama had found herself in a rather strange state of mind. The worry and awkwardness that had once plagued her was far easier to manage now, so much so that she had made the decision to wonder by herself. She had heard of a company giving a free electronic device to mages and although she had few friends to contact, the blonde felt that it was at least a reason for her to leave the safety of the guild barracks for a while. Still, the rumours of the area had not reached her ears, unfortunately.

For as soon as she stepped into the area, she suddenly felt a horrible chill through her body as her magic seemed to disappear. It caught her completely by surprise and she felt rather sick for a moment or two. Thankfully though, she kept her wits about her and after a minute or so moving back and forward, she began to understand what had happened. It just seemed that the region was an anti magic zone for some reason and once her initial worry had passed, Kalama was able to collect herself and move on. She still had her sword anyway, in case things went awry although she hoped that she would have no reason to use it.

Entering the large business complex, she soon came across a massive building with the word iLac sprawled across the front of. This was clearly the place for her to be and as the blonde haired mage made her way towards it, a black haired woman would come out to meet her, a smile on her face. As it turned out, the woman was an employee whose job it was to explain the various functions of the device and she soon delved into what seemed to be a well rehearsed speech about the pros and cons of the item.

She was an incredibly effective sales woman and the mage found it difficult to keep her eyes off of her. Not in an unhealthy way, just that the passion in the woman’s voice was hard for Kalama to ignore. She definitely knew her stuff and after about a quarter of an hour or so, the mage was gently led into the building, where she could pick whichever colour iLac she wished. There were dozens of them in all and it took the fear predator slayer a few minutes to pick but in the end she decided to choose a dark red coloured one.

With an approving nod, the employee would then lead her out and after exchanging numbers, headed back inside to wait for the next customer. It had all been an efficient service to say the least and with an eyebrow raise and a look down at her newest item, the fear slayer would then be on her way, leaving the neutral grounds behind her and off to her next destination. She was not quite sure where that would be just yet but the Dies Irae member would be ready for it regardless.
