Coming to Lavanitir Port City, Mai was told to pick up some final supplies before her international mission with Miss Luna. They were fairly rare to find, and as such, Mai had to travel all the way to Lavanitir rather than her usual port of Hargeon. The West Fiore Trade Company would be delivering some of these supplies, and though Miss Luna had mentioned the Company had a guild associated with it, Mai had forgotten all about it. After all, Lavanitir cared little for guilds, treating everyone as equals regardless of their guild association. Legal, Dark, none of it mattered in Lavanitir.

While her task was to pick up these last supplies, Mai saw little reason why she should not be able to buy other treats and souvenirs while in the town. She figured that Miss Luna, or rather Amelia, would be rather upset if Mai would use the allotted funds for the supplies, so Mai had a coinpurse filled with her own, well-earned Jewels held tightly in her clutches as she wandered around the town. Some of the townsfolk questioned Mai's reason for being in town, as well as several concerns that she was simply a lost child, as was the usual case with her. She shrugged them off, often using her tried-and-true "spin to show off the Sabertooth tattoo." Even though they cared little about guilds within the town, seeing her association with a guild was often enough to silence people, though for a few stubborn, or perhaps ignorant, folks, she would show a small display of power, even if she had to struggle to not destroy anything with her displays. If the guild had heard that she had caused some destruction, they certainly would be a bit unhappy at her.

Reaching the harbor itself, Mai looked around for the sigil of the Trade Company. She had drilled it into her mind to remember what the symbol Miss Luna had shown, but the exact figure was eluding her. She quietly pouted, slowly wandering through the harbors in search of a sigil that looked familiar. If nothing else, the girl was stubborn, and she did not like to look for help. She would find it out in time, and that was that. She darted her eyes around the various warehouses and ships, munching on some candies quietly. Her concentration was interrupted by a sudden bump, causing her to drop both her coinpurse and her candies. It did not seem to be the work of a robber, nor of anyone with any malicious intent, but it had happened nonetheless, and the culprit continued to walk along with little regard for the now-prone child. She felt a tear coming to her eye from the rage. Part of it was because of the disregard for her coinpurse and the coinpurse Miss Luna had given, but the crux of her anger was from the now-ruined candies. She felt her hands clench in rage and her teeth grit as she did her best to remember to not cause an incident.
