Job Description: For some time now, local herbalists and caretakers looking after the massive beanstalk located in the center of the Beanstalk village had reported signs of withering. Because the villagers revere the massive plant, the fact that it is dying has brought some mages out who believe that their gods are angry and need appeasement to make up for their careless ways. Kicking much of the town into a state similar to that of a cult, they are willing to do just about anything as long as it might restore their beanstalk to its former glory. Through it all, the people who did not believe in these stories have reached out, looking for help from the surrounding towns and cities to find out what is happening to their beanstalk, hoping that curing it might cause the cultists to cease and return to their daily lives.
Enemies: Because of the fact that the Fat Monsterlands are quite close to the village, it is believed that those taking on this mission might very well run into these creatures along the way as they figure out what is happening to the Beanstalk. Aside from that, there are also the cultists one should keep in mind, as humans who are driven to a crazy enough state can be just as dangerous as any monster.
