EVENT: Valentines Day [Aliannah & Dekkys]

It was almost Valentines Day and the girl looked down from her bed at the floor below. There were small hearts all over the place, dedicated and written for her guild-mates. She had stayed up many nights to make them and finally they were all finished. A small smile displayed across her pale pink lips. Though the girl had worked hard, her body was taking the consequences for it as she was now slightly sick. With a sigh the girl looked from the floor to her desk where the most recently made valentine sat.

"TO: Elias" Was written across the top. She hadn't seen the guy since their small adventure over Christmas and the girl had to say that she did miss him.

With a pout the girl pushed herself into a sitting position before forcefully moving herself to crawl down the ladder that gave her access to her lofted bed. Upon her feet hitting the chilled floor a shiver raced up her spine. Why was she feeling sick, what could it possibly be? Her body was supposed to be able to heal itself, but right now she was feeling like she was being torn from the inside out.

Lifting her hand to her forehead she rested it there, hoping to see if she had a fever. Of course she didn't, her body was in pristine shape, so why did she feel like there was something festering inside of her.

With a quick shake of her head the girl snatched the valentine from her desk and left her small apartment. Like all heck was she not going to go deliver her letter to Elias. Even if he was across all of Earthland she was going to get the damn piece of paper to him before Valentine's Day. With this determination the girl exited the apartment complex and flashed her wings open before taking off into the sky.

With the wind at her back, the girl managed to go slightly faster than she normal would. Her white wings glittered like snow as the sun hit them and with ever push they sparkles like diamonds. The sky was clear, which was odd for still a slightly winter day, but the girl loved it none-the-less. Thinking back on how to find Elias, the girl nibbled her bottom lip. She had heard that he had been accepted into a legal guild, Aurora, through the grapevine--Gossiping from clients--but was sure that it was true. After all, gossip. However, she was going to take the change and fly herself there and see if he was there, it was the only lead that she had.

The beating of her wings was her only company as she flew over the landscape, she had left Oya at the studio, knowing that the stoat was just as tired as she was, and made the trip on her own. It had now been a couple hours and she could finally see the town in which the legal guild lay. Angling her body, the girl dove down towards the guild and, being polite, landed on the steps before it. The guild hall was huge and her eyes widened at the sight of it. The girl knew of WFTC, but they had a company building, not a castle.

Taking in a deep breath the girl made her ways up to the doors of the castle and, knowing better than to knock and embarrass herself, she opened the main door and walked in. There seemed to be a couple people scattered about all in their own worlds, not really noticing that she had walked in, as it was pretty common for one to enter a guild.

Though this was true, once people saw her they would realize that they didn't know her and they would start questioning why she was here. With this in mind the petite girl knew that she had to take initiative.

"Excuse me? I'm looking for Elias. Does anyone know where I could find him?"

In her hand was the Valentine that she had made for him.

Heads turned towards her, staring her down in question as the girl tightly gripped the letter in her hands. It wasn't the first time she had had eyes on her, but it was the first time that she had felt out of place. Her hands were slightly shaking due to the nervousness that was wracking her body, oh how she really disliked having to meet new people.

Taking in a deep breath the girl pulled the letter to her chest, hiding it mostly from view, and proceeded to bow, a nervous habit that she had developed over the years. "I'm Aliannah from West Fiore Trading Company, I mean no harm or anything, our two guilds have actually done quite a bit of work together and I uhhh..." The girl was rambling at this point and upon catching herself she blushed and bit her bottom lip. "I'm here to look for Elias, I met him a while ago and I was wondering how he was. I uh... I don't know where he lives, but based on some things I've heard in the company building I thought he might be here. If he isn't that's fine, I must have just gotten the wrong information and I'll just leave."

The girl was rambling at this point and she knew it. Panicking slightly she closed her lips and looked to the side, this was exactly why she didn't communicate with others, she always messed up. By looking to the side she managed to spot the job board within the guild hall and she quickly walked over to it before grabbing one of the first ones she could get her hands on. "We were going to go on a job... uhh..." Aliannah knew that she wasn't making sense at this point and that she was simply making a fool of herself as her words contradicted themselves.

God she could only hope that Elias would show up soon or someone would speak up so that she wouldn't make a bigger fool of herself.

The gods did reply. Oh goodness they did. Aliannah could have shouted in joy as she sensed Elias's magic from just around the corner. It seemed to appear as if drifting in and it took a moment before it moved towards the girl's direction. But when it did move, a voice moved along with it.

Looking up at the other blond with relief and joy in her eyes, the girl basically praised him mentally. Turning quickly on her heel, she met him part ways on his walk towards her. It seemed like they were both a little bit socially awkward, oh what a pair they were. Feeling a warm hand on her shoulder, gripping a little tighter than was normal the girl basically pleaded for them to escape the situation.

And escape they did, one moment they were in the guild and the next they were out of it and else where. Gathering her surroundings the girl was stunned for just a moment before she realized what had happened. Teleportation. With a great sigh she smiled at Elias, a soft one that was reserved for those she knew. He had gotten them both out of that situation. Listening to his next works the girl looked down in her hands, in one lay a crumpled job sheet, that the two now had to go on, and in the other resided the valentine.

Looking at the valentine is slight distain, after all it had gotten her into this mess, she lifted it to Elias. Her face morphed into something bashful and she looked away. "Uh.. this is for you. I made a munch for the guild and I happened to make you one as well. I wanted to deliver it myself and see how you were doing. I haven't seen you in a while." The soft red valentine shimmered glossily in her hand due to the paper she used and within she knew lay a small pressed snow drop and a letter reading:

"Elias,
I haven't seen you in a while. I hope things are going well and that you've found belief in yourself just like I found saw it within you. Remember to keep your confidence up as you've come so far. Remember you are more than you think you are especially to someone like me.

She had written it with the best intentions and while she was awkward she always meant the best.

After handing him her valentine the girl's face grew red in colour and she turned away hoping to hide the faint blush on her cheeks. Elias seemed to read her letter swiftly, speaking to her and thank her shortly after reading it and if she was embarrassed then he must have been as well as he reached into his coat pocket, pulling out a letter of his own.

Looking up slightly at him and then the letter, the girl gently took it from his hands and opened it, the job sheet getting further crumpled in her hand. She read it quickly and without commentary and by the end of it a small smile had grown on her face. He was doing alright. Elias had found a home and was doing alright. He had friends and he had people around him to take care of him when he needed it.

A soft cough escaped the lips of the girl and she covered her mouth with the hand that wasn't holding both the letter and the job sheet. The feeling within her wasn't getting any better.

Recovering herself quickly the girl looked up and gave the other a warm smile. "Thank you so much. That was really kind of you."

With the awkward exchange between the two of them done, the girl put the letter in to the pocket of her own jacket and uncrumpled the job that she had plucked from the wall. The two of them had to do it now.

Skimming it over quickly, yet carefully, the girl's face went from flush to white as a sheet.

They had to get temporarily married and then deliver chocolate from a storage house on one end of the Rose Garden to a chocolate shop on the other. "Oh frickfrack. I am so sorry. I didn't realize this was what I had gotten off of the wall."

The two of them had to get married.

The words on the page pounded through the girl's head. How could they- Urg. She hadn't even had her first kiss yet, let alone a boyfriend!

With the grumbling in her head the girl began to pout. The emotions that she was showing she wouldn't have shown much anyone else, but she was comfortable around Elias.

Thinking more into it the girl took a breath, the guy had nearly seen her naked, they had gotten through that. This could not be as big of a deal. Straightening herself the girl took on a serious face and without blinking an eye.

"Apparently we have to married in order to do this. So where do you want to get married?"

She was dying on the inside.

The girl stumbled for a bit, had what she said been a proposal? The girl looked confused for a second, her blank face breaking for just a moment to reflect on her own words and what Elias had said. Inner conflict. Panic. The girl's face morphed back to slightly horrored at what she had just said and she looked up at Elias who was at this time walking down the street after saying something about a church.

With inner turmoil Aliannah sped after him to catch up and the moment that she did, an awkward air filled the space between the two of them. Epitome of awkward. King and Queen of awkward. The petite girl couldn't look at the other, she had gotten them into this situation and though she knew Elias well enough to be comfortable around him.. she didn't want to marry the guy! She was too young... and so was he! She mentally stomped her foot on the ground. But the girl wouldn't give up the job, she couldn't, the girl never tried to return jobs if she knew that she could do them and this she wouldn't return this one either.

Whilst still in her own mind the girl hadn't noticed that they had already gotten to the church. Upon looking at it, the girl could see that it was a stone building, that had definitely seen better days, but looked like it held years of history that belonged to Timbermere. It looked durable, like it was made to last through a war, but it held an aura of defiance and determination, of pride and everlasting.

Hearing the male next to her speak, the girl snapped her eyes to him and once again panicked on the inside, her cheeks and ears turning the colour of a rose. The colour of his teasing voice echoed in the ears and the girl and her mind went from panicked to something else entirely as she placed her hand on the door.

"You wish."

If he wanted to play that game, she could too.

She pushed her way into the doors and looked around the room. It was simple but elegant. Church pews lined the room with a walkway down the center, light that illuminated the room came from the stain-glass windows and from the two simple chandeliers that hung from the ceiling. The room was beautiful and mystic.

"Hello and welcome to our church, what can I help you with today?" The voice of an old man came from the front of the church, upon the pulpit.

Aliannah looked up at him and bit her bottom lip, trying to pick up her courage and her embarrassment, and slipped her hand in the Elias's before walking--dragging--him to the front of the room.

"We've come to get married, sir." Her voice waivered and the girl took in a deep breath to steady herself. She had been emotionless before, she could do it now. "I know that it may be sudden, but it is urgent. Please, sir." The girl could only hope that her voice nor her facial features gave away her insecurities and internal questions.

"I can do that, is the man here with you the one that you are to marry and is he here of his own free will?" Aliannah broke down internally, if Elias didn't want to do the job, he could back out now and she wouldn't judge him. But she would look like a fool, wouldn't the first time of course.

Her eyes flickered to the blond male behind her and she tried to put on what was a "loving smile", but not only was she having and internal crisis, her body was seeming to tear at its seems, something that had been manifesting within her was also fighting her, but not her. It was fighting her soul, her magic, Alyia's magic, it was a demon that was dying to take over.

The moment that Elias signed his name at the bottom, Aliannah had the pen pushed into her hands. It wavered for a moment before she bit her bottom lip and placed it on the paper and signed where she was supposed to. Her hands were shaky and that could either pass for excitement or nervousness, but in Aliannah's case it was the latter.

She finished signing her name and handed the certificate back to the priest where he looked it over and nodded his head before handing her the papers back after he had signed them himself as a witness. "Well that is settled, You two are now husband and wife. This isn't a service, but you may kiss the bride if you'd like."

OH NO. Aliannah's face went from a regular somewhat healthy colour to bright red in seconds. "I don't think that that is necessary, besides we are a bit shy." Her voice was steadier than she thought it was and she was sure that the priest would believe her; and it seemed like he did as the man simply nodded before smiling understandingly.

With the papers in her hands, Aliannah folded them and stuffed them into her pocket and looked at Elias who seemed to be putting on a smile towards her. Oh how she hoped that he didn't think that this was all real. Slipping her hands back into his the girl placed another smile on her face and pulled--dragged--him back to the doors. She quickly turned around to face the priest. "Thank you, sir!"

With that she pulled both of them out the door and down the street before the girl released the hand of her partner. She pulled the marriage papers from her pocket and looked at them before looking up at Elias with a more serious expression, her face was still red. "This is only temporary, we're both too young to get married, but the job requires it and so it will be. But once this is done we don't have to 'married' anymore." The blonde girl made air quotes at the word 'married' before smiling more friendly at Elias.

Her face was turning back to normal and the girl burst into laughter. Oh lordy, was that an experience.

The girl looked back and forth down the street, the two of them had gotten to Rose Garden and received the chocolate that they were supposed to deliver while proving to the client that they were indeed married. But, the thing with Valentines Day and chocolate was that there were always people who wanted it and people who hated it. At this point in time, it was the first. Two groups of younger kids had come after them the moment that they had gotten the chocolate to deliver.

Aliannah handed the chocolates to Elias the moment that she had heard the small pitter patter of feet from around the corner. She looked Elias in the eyes and smiled, she had been working and helping at the orphanage that she had started in Tolgalen, she was used to kids. "Go go, I'll handle the kids. After all, it'll be good practice."

After the first moment of teasing the girl had boldened up started to tease at Elias. With a wink and a smirk the girl ducked around the corner and into the hands of the kids. There were 8 of them, the two groups fusing together in order to get the chocolate.

A genuine smile appeared on the face of the blonde girl and her blue orbs glittered with mischief. With a playful roar at the kids the stumbled to a halt. She had ducked down and spread her arms, making herself look big. It startled the kids and with their short attention span they froze in shock. Then a small giggle escaped the lips of the female as she surged forwards and scooped up two kids in her arms, spinning them around and peppering their faces with kisses. "And where do you guys think you're going?" The kids in her arms giggled as she put them down with the others.

She knelt down to be height of the kids and gathered a couple more in her arms, keeping them close to her body, not allowing for them to get away from her and chase after Elias. "Were you chasing me? I didn't know we were playing a game." She looked at the rest of the kids with a face of playfulness and challenge. "But since you've got me. I guess I have to chase you all then, huh? How 'bout a deal, the last one for me to catch, I'll give them a present."

The kids' eyes glittered and the screamed and laughed before running off in different directions.

Hopefully this will distract them enough to give Elias enough time.

It took the blonde girl literally no time at all to find all of the children and upon finding the last one she bought them a candy bar of their choice from the candy shop.

With the kids not taken care of the girl simply, now, just had to find Elias and finish delivering the chocolate. That wasn't too hard as she followed the sense of his magic down streets and around corners until she rounded one and there he was. But it wasn't finding him that shocked her, it was the scene that she had found that shocked her. Crouching there, placing a bandaid on a man who looked like he had been beaten to a pulp, was her blond partner. Aliannah was confused and startled, a little weirded out, but, you know, whatever floats your boat.

She began to approach the scene but something, more like someone, out of the corner of her eye caught her attention. The person was quietly approaching and he looked like he was going towards the chocolate. Her eyebrows furrowing the girl raced forwards, she didn't spend 30 minutes running around playing hide-n-go-seek tag with a bunch of kids to protect the delivery, only to have it taken by some thief. Dodging around the mess that was on the street the girl jumped to the wall where she pushed off of it and sent the flying kick at the head of the thief.

Her shoe connected with the side of his head and the man went down, hitting his head against the ground with a solid thud. A pout formed on the pastel pink lips of the girl and she looked at the man before she took the wand that was in his pocket and hit him soundly seven to eight times with it. Don't. Steal. My. Chocolate. Hitting him with each word and several times after. The chocolate was very important.

Seeing the man no longer moving to get up, the petite blonde dropped the wand back on the ground and made her way over to Elias where she took the chocolates, giving Elias a break. She smiled up at him and nudged him playfully. "Did the big guy give you trouble?" A small joyful laugh slipped form her lips as her blue citrine eyes shown up at him slightly.

But the moment didn't last as a nasally voice filled the air. "You guys are so gross." Something flew through the air aiming to hit either Aliannah and Elias, but the small girl wasn't having it as she leaned back against Elias, trusting him completely, and kicked the projectile out of the air and nailing it into the nearby building.

Quickly looking over at the projectile, the female saw that it had been a knife. A knife had been thrown at the two. A frown grew on her once happy face and the girl managed to stand back up before looking at who had thrown it.

There, in the middle of the walkway, with her hands across her chest and a sneer across her face was woman with red hair... and one that put too much make-up on at that. Aliannah tilted her head and gave the woman a 'WTF' face. "Excuse me?"

"Just as I said, you guys are gross. With your lovey dovey flirting and your skin contact. It's disgusting. The woman made no sense and Aliannah continued to look at her like she was blind, but that would have been an insult to blind people.

Taking in a breath the girl was really done with the day and she looked at the woman, shifting her weight from one hip to the other. "I'm sorry that no one likes you, but just because you don't have a significant other doesn't mean that you have to attack me and mine." Blue orbs were darkening slightly and the blonde girl looked at the other female threateningly. To be honest it had been a long day and one that was literally an emotional roller coaster.

This woman wasn't making it any better.

A sign left the female mage's mouth and she set down the boxes of chocolates that she had in her hands before standing back up and making her way over to the other female. Without another word the blue eyed beauty grabbed a wand that one of the thieves had dropped and marched over to the woman standing in the way.

If one was going to guess that the 20 year old girl had lunged at the woman and began to beat her with the wand, they would have been correct. It's. Been. A. Long. Day. Okay? I embarrassed myself in front of my partner's guild. I got married to said partner for a job. Chased kids around for a good part of an hour. Was attacked by a thief. And now you are. In. The. Way!" For every break between words Aliannah took(A period or other punctuation) she hit the woman and it wasn't until the end of her rant that the woman threw the blonde girl off.

Aliannah stumbled backwards and into Elias, but gathering herself enough so that neither would fall. Her eyes were a molten blue and if Elias didn't do something this woman was going to be ended by the hands of a tired 20 year old girl. Whatever was in Aliannah was getting stronger and was now affecting her feelings and emotions on top of making her feel physically and mentally weak. This wasn't good.
