Everything was still a bit of a haze. No matter how she tried to shake clean of it or manage to get around it, there would be a stumble and a collapsing. A heavy thud that echoed in the dark halls under massive weight. Weight unexpected of something that seemed to be more petite and frail than anything —if this were any ordinary person. A hand sliding along the smooth, but dusty wall to feel from within left her with nothing. There was no sound, no help, no guidance. Where... even was she? Nothing around her made sense, nothing seemed to give her any help seeing or anything past a hazy fog of memory. Though a faint light say in the distance, she slowly began to crawl towards it. Her legs hadn’t worked as well as she’d hoped they would or even could, but it made things harder in the end when she needed them the most. The light slowly got brighter through the hazy vision until finally she’d managed to emerge into the light of the sun. It was in that moment the light faded that she’d finally been granted the chance to see again.

Though... even that fell short quickly. Screaming and yelling bursted out, forcing her to jump in the fear of the moment. Rocks pelting her head and body, but her own refused to guard itself from the incoming projectiles. Her own voice tried to scream out to plead... nothing. As if her voice was stripped from her, she was silent, unmoving to a crowd of torches and instruments knowing they’d be used on her to try and finish her off. A sudden swift moving object swung towards her, and in a huge rush of instinct, a loud scream forced her arms over her head and her eyes shut. Her body quaking with fear, she felt nothing happen. The voices? Nothing. There were no sounds, no shadows casted over her but from the clouds that blocked out the sun in the moment.

Finally after a moment of her fearing in a huddled up ball, she looked up. There wasn’t a single person around... that’s when she knew it happened again. Ever since she’d left the unknown forest, she’d started to feel the fear that was welled up inside of her starting to turn into delusions. In the course of only a few weeks they’d boiled over into a fear that caused her to flee. Unable to see another person, even her own companions without succumbing to a fearful episode caused her to isolate herself into places where she’d thought nobody could find her. But, no matter that, there were things that didn’t add up about it that started to drive her to a point where her fear of people was able to worsen. Growing into a manic state where she was seeing all too real delusions of people mobbing after her and her body seeming to react as though it were defenseless had nearly broken her. It was a struggle to have come as far as she did before, doing what she was doing, but there was no explanation as to why this began to happen again. It.. almost felt as though it was clouding her memories as well. Being the last thing she could remember was running from the little town she grew up in.

But.. every once in a while she had these small flashbacks of a large claw.. or wings? Unexplainable to her in the moment, she had no realization that through the tattered clothes in several places, one left three large gash marks into the earthen body of the elemental. Where she was? It was unclear, but as frightened as she had been, it was sure that she wouldn’t be easy to approach either.

A lot had happened lately, it was all piling up a deep weight on his mind, Rin had departed the ship for a solo mission. Nothing major she said, yet the words had seemed hollow, as if a deep pain was being held inside that she needed to free. He understood now, there was peace in solitude, space to clear ones head and think over everything one at a time. It was for that reason that he too had taken a few days away, Theo left back on board to heal, his wounds still not fixed the skin would never be smooth again for some scars were too badly damaged to heal. Captain of the ship was doing all he could to fix the problem though, for now he needed to get back to being him. Which had lead to him being here, some old ruins just marked simply on a map, it had been noted to be cleared out of high quality treasures but he hadn't a doubt there would be some weakened enemies or perhaps an illegal group of people camping there, he needed to take his mind off it all. Theo had been attacked, brutally tortured and just left their it was rather horrific, not only the physical damage but the mental damage done. He had removed the doormat from outside the front of the guildhall so hopefully that would aid his recovery in some way. Then just after getting him better, healing his nerves fresh news had come to light about the blight of the fight against his heart. It was mentally straining, an anchor weighing down every thought with its despair, the ordeal with Izayuki, the bakedanuki causing him much pain and been in so much herself. He needed time to relax, time to think.

Dressed simply a the write cloak stark against the landscape not a speck of dust from the ruins settled on it. Eyes closed his mind guided the way, a dimensional map of the place in his mind the mage let the world around him sink in, falling into a sense of reality and understanding with nature around him. There was someone just on the edge of his map, shivering and quaking a small body wrought with anxiety and fear, curled up in hopes of vanishing from the world almost. This was when he opened his gaze, watermelon eyes carefully scouring the area as he rounded a corner, four or fie paces away there was a woman huddled, her ears seemed so dull as did her eyes. A wild animal afraid and scared, not getting too close was the right choice. "Hello there, isn't the weather nice for a picnic today." He left a pause in between the words as he looked away from the small figure, staring up at the sky which was not exactly wonderful, but the lack of rain was pleasant for the leaves of autumn were still crunchy underfood. "I'm Lester, I came here to get away from things but now Im a little hungry. Is there anything I can help with?" At the offer of help he let his eyes slide down back to her, the face was slightly familiar yet much of it was still hidden.

Silent panting left as she could feel as though her heart was racing at the speed of light from the fearful delusions of her mind playing tricks on her, fueling the already ptsd like feeling she already had getting worse by the passing day. It was strange, of all things she knew she didn’t have inside of her or even if she had, there wasn’t much that her memory could recall. Thankfully, it seemed with all of the feelings of her flashbacks and what not going away for the time being, she was able to relax and sit up for just a moment from the traumatic experiences. Behind her, a voice had made the bunny ears atop her head twitch one bent down a little towards the front of her body, but this voice was.. calming. It wasn’t harsh and belittling. There was no blaming, to lashing of verbal remarks or a forked tongue of distasteful words. No, it just sounded as though someone was trying to talk to her. That alone at first made her think it was another part of her mind, but it ceased to be so when the bunny girl turned around to see whom it was who was talking.

A singular man.. or boy, or whomever he was dressed in a cloak as white as the hair on his head smiling at her. Normally, a person’s reaction is to smile back and see it to be a sign of someone trusting to go to for help or to seek out. Not with this one. Once she realized he was real, she screamed and jumped up from the ground she was knelt on as a weapon, a spear with a cold like aura around had appeared in her hand. The weapons blade pointed towards him as the bunny girl hid mostly behind a partially broken column. ”Wh-Wh-Wh-Who are you!?” She screamed out in fear, near terror almost as it would look from the look in her eyes. It took her a moment, but soon she realized that her hand had been holding onto a weapon and with another yelp like scream, she dropped it and jumped back onto her rear end. Where did that even come from? How did she manage to make a weapon appear in her hand? ”Wh-Wh-Wh-Where am I?” Her body trembling as she had stared at the male from afar. Though, from the tattered clothing, the left forearm was visible by the bottom, showing what would still be part of the former Lamia Scale guild mark in a pink color.

Sudden and harsh the shriek shocked him, its high pitch sharp against his ears the youth flinched slightly, it was odd, he had been very very polite, soft spoken and waited a reasonable distance away, animal or human most would have waited to give him a chance. Nails dug into where he was seated as the rabbit woman lept up, swinging the point of a spear towards him with a smooth precision which swirling behind a pillar. He felt no immediate threat, as the female hadn't attacked him, no she had moved away instead. Demanding to know who he was the expression on her face told many stories, that of being alone, afraid and shocked. She seemed to be unsteady yet the face was one that just sat on the tip of his tongue he really should pay more attention to names and faces.

Ears rang, the amount of screams from the female would have been extraordinary if he was wearing mufflers yet with each shriek the man flinched slightly. It was annoying, he had hoped to approach a semi-stranger and offer a kind hand yet he was just getting screamed at whether she intended it or not the white haired mages patience was wearing thin. The weapon fell, bouncing slightly a slight crease formed between his brows, it was never good to drop a weapon, someone had put so much effort into crafting the wonderful tool. "Please, Just one question at a time. I'm Lester Drynedi, I think we've met before, I'm a mage like you. From a legal guild called Crystal Swan." Yet his eyes had settled on the guild mark, thats who she was, Gisen Ceostra or something. The rabbit guild master of Lamia Scale, "We're in some old ruins, its not really anywhere they're just ruins that people like to explore. Do you know who you are? Or recognize the tattoo on your left arm?" Who wouldn't know where they were, from magazines that he had read and the gossip circle he knew enough to guess that a mage of her strength should have some sort of way to divine her location.

Again the stranger across from her spoke to her with a completely different tone of voice that one could keep in fear from or in any way worry for their safety it seemed. None of her prior freakouts seemed to bother him in any way or in any way that she had seemed to notice. If it did bug him, he was very good at hiding those types of feelings and even more to keep them from anyone with any ability of being able to gauge the emotions of others. Still, he wanted her to comply to a single question at a time, which was a reasonable request in both of their parts seeing as how polite and patient the male was towards her. The shaking she had through her entire body had slowly begun to calm itself, though moving toward him was still mentally out of the question. Anyone could fake being nice, but there wasn't anything about him that she could see that presented a threat. Maybe she could at least try? It felt easier to her speaking to him, though her memory was too blank on any reason.

Lester, as he'd identified himself to be, began to explain a bit about himself to the frightened elemental. Something seemed to spark in her mind as the mention of Crystal Swan and his name swirled around in her mind for a moment. Though, with no pun intended, it was as though Lester was speaking to a brick wall. Unable to recollect exactly, her mind seemed to start up what felt like an old film projector in her mind. Small snippets of film of the inside of a forest? N-No... there was a building behind them with some symbol on the top. Before she could think of it, her hand reached up to her head, placing over her left temple as the feeling of a slight throbbing pain had thrown her out of her memories. "I-I.. m-met you b-before..." She replied in a bit of a low tone, more of herself as her attempt to look up to him made her look away from a bit of shyness and another of fear. "I-I kn-knew you, L-Lester Drynedi?" This time was more pronounced for him to hear, asking him as if she needed the confirmation from him to assure what she thought she was remembering was true.

Her attention soon refocused to the area around them as the white haired mage had told her about the ruins they were in. She didn't really remember how she got here... or. did she? Her mind was starting to become boggled with new and old thoughts that trying to piece everything together correctly was becoming a sharp pain in her head. She did her best to keep from physically showing the throbbing sensation, but her light flinching and rubbing of her head showed otherwise. "Do.. you know how I got here? O-Or.. who I am? I... I just.. It's..." The ears over her head begun to wilt, curling forward and sinking down to her face, where she grabbed hold of them and covered up her face from slowly forming tears. "I-I've been h-here f-for weeks.. I.. I'm t-too scared a-and p-people k-keep trying to h-hurt me, b-but once I.. i-it all seems to stop.. and nobody's there... I don't know why they keep coming... but I-I want it to stop and.. it won't." Speaking to her earlier episodes and even more to have happened prior to this, she had this small chip from the loss of memory that kept this part of what her actual past had been from being told. It gave her a feeling of relief to get it off of her chest, but the metal block would keep her from being able to share the whole story.
