Appears like a normal, small steel chain that can be hung around the neck or arm. This item, however, has been crafted from a lacrima steel alloy that makes it not just extremely durable, but also able to store and release magical energy on demand while simultaneously allowing for Aspen's Iron Key to be attached safely so it doesn't get lost easily.

Appearance:

● Can store and release magical energy on demand due to the makeup of the material

● The effects of the item only apply to the bearer

▶ Abilities:

● Metalhead (S): The chains store up magical energy for the user to fall back upon in combat, passively strengthening their magic in general. This grants them a 40% buff to spell damage with an additional 5% per rank above D up to S (Caps at 60%).


● Metal Battery (S): The chains store magic power in the lacrima-alloy every time magic flows through the item and a spell is used. This charges the chains with 20MP per spell. The user can use the MP stored in the material instead of his own to cast a spell if he has the required amount of MP to cast mentioned spell. The battery can hold up to user rank MP up to S. For this ability, it would probably be better if this was changed to percentages instead of flat rates. It would probably be better as a sort of MP buff!
