Monster Challenge 2 Empty Monster Challenge 2

Post by Guest 10th September 2018, 8:27 am

    Job:

After the horror show of boredom that her last job had been, Sarisha was more than eager to take part in a more action orientated one. She remembered her fight with the fire goblin well and was looking forward to fighting another monster from a different land. Again, she had no idea about just who or what her opponent was but that only made the situation more exhilarating. In truth, it had been quite a while since she had last had a decent fight and most of her recent battles had been fairly lacklustre. It seemed that her physical strength was enough to overwhelm most opponents and those who could withstand them then fell to her water attacks instead. She longed for a tougher challenge and a stouter foe. Could her fight adversary today provide her with that? She certainly hoped so as she was still feeling the palpable frustration that she had felt during her last mission.

A roar from behind her soon caught her attention and she turned around to find herself facing a Minotaur, a monstrous creature with a massive axe. It wasted little time and charged towards her, its head bent down in an attempt to impale her with its horns. Sarisha dodged the attack, allowing the beast to crash in to the rock face and stagger itself. She then activated two of her stat boosting abilities and charged in, hurling left and right punches to the back and mid section of the beast, the sound of her strikes causing the brute to howl in pain and anger. It lashed out with a powerful back kick, knocking Sarisha back about ten feet or so. It did not break through her defences but it gave the creature enough time to recover and turn towards her. It moved forward and attempted a massive two handed cleave which would of easily taken the head off anyone foolish enough to get in the way. The mage, however, simply ducked underneath and delivered her signature punch to its liver, followed by a claw across the midsection, causing it to bleed and setting off the Goddess's lust for blood.

Enraged, it let out a powerful bellow and and launched another powerful swing of its axe but again, the mage was just too agile and dodged it fairly easily. The monster used up so much energy when swinging that it left itself easily open for a counter, which Sarisha did once once, scoring with another pair of powerful blows to the body of the beast. It was just too slow and lumbering to keep up with her and each time it swung, it used up more and more energy to do it. The Goddess was connecting more and more frequently and the damage soon began to add up on the creature. She jumped back out of range and then delivered a powerful burst of water from her mouth, sending it back up against the rock face and stunning it for a short time, before unleashing a wave of water which kept it pinned against the rocks.

Realising it was being beaten, the beast desperately charged forwards again but the mage simply jumped high in the air and landed on top of the creature. She took a position on top of it and then started raining down punches, one of which managed to break one of the beast's horns and causing it to cry out in pain. She grabbed on to the horn before it could fall and plunged it in to the forehead of the Minotaur, causing blood to spurt everywhere and the beats roaring once again. Smiling sickeningly, the mage repeated this procedure twice, causing more damage with each painful attack. Finally, the beast managed to swing around enough that Sarisha lost her balance and tumbled off although she had dealt a fair bit of damage already.

Wounded and with surprising speed, the Minotaur quickly charged towards the mage in an attempt to trample her, an attack which the Goddess only just managed to roll out of the way of. Leaping to her feet, Sarisha then raised a hand to the heavens and after a moment, a downpour of rain began to hammer down on the area, harming the Minotaur while increasing Sarisha's abilities even more. I stupidly tried to swing its axe at the rain in order to get rid of it, an act which made the Deity simply raise an eyebrow at. Taking advantage of the distraction, she jumped in to the air, surrounded herself with water and dashed towards the creature, ramming it in the stomach and sending it crashing to the ground, dropping its axe in the process.

The mage then proceeded to charge forwards and take up a mount position on the beast, pounding it with more punches. There was blood everywhere now and both the Minotaur and Sarisha were covered in it. She unleashed a barrage of blows that soon began to make their mark on the creature, scoring hits across the beasts face, it still did not stop though and managed to eventually throw her off but it was pretty much on death's door and as it struggled to its feet. It was a proud creature though and managed to take a hold of its axe once more and face the Deity again. They began to circle each other, the rain still coming down hard, dealing more damage to the wounded beast. It was determined to go down with its weapon in hand and that was something that Sarisha could respect. It was not often that she thought that about an opponent but it had done well for itself.

The Minotaur changed grip and came forwards with a one handed cleave, aiming for speed rather than strength. It was a decent attack and almost caught Sarisha but the monster was sluggish now and the mage had a vast speed advantage on the creature, especially in her own downpour. With another well timed evade, the Deity used her evaporation skill to teleport behind the beast and delivered a pair of powerful blows to the monsters liver and kidney, causing it to drop the axe again and fall to the ground. Sarisha then sprinted over to the axe and picked it up herself, before darting back in towards the creature. It attempted to attack with a weak left handed punch but Sarisha swung the axe and end up cleaving the limb off, before jumping up on the creatures head and bringing the axe down on it, causing it to unleash another painful bellow. The beast certainly had a hard head though meaning that the axe did not penetrate it fully and did not finish the beast off. So she raised it a second time and brought it down even harder. This time it did the job as the Minotaur collapsed. Dead.

Throwing the axe aside, Sarisha then climbed off of the creature and took a seat next to its body, savouring the pleasure of victory against a strong foe. It had done well and survived many of her stronger attacks although the end result had always been obvious. It would take a powerful foe indeed to put her down for long and her powers were growing by the day. She could feel her Godly partner relishing in the carnage and Sarisha could almost feel her soul mates arms embracing her as she often did after a good fight. Valara had certainly had her fill of blood and chaos for today and the fight was the most fun that the mage had experienced for a while. Oh, how she loved combat jobs and after she knew that she would probably be sticking to them from now on. They were good training and she always enjoyed them. Sure, it was rare that she faced a challenge but that only made those rare encounters more exhilarating.

The rain soon disappeared and the sun began to shine again, revealing just how much blood has been spilt. It was everywhere and caused the victorious mage to chuckle to herself at the sight. It aroused her in a way that very few things could and again she briefly felt aggrieved that she could share her win with her Godly partner. The fight made her want to do nothing more than grab the blue haired Goddess and have her way with her, a feeling that she was sure that Valara was probably feeling too. She briefly thought back to their first meeting and they had definitely had a good time then. Sarisha had been with many women in her time but Valara was on a different level, she oozed power and lust, traits that the mage had never found in anyone before. They were made for each other, that much was clear.

Eventually, the mage stood up and started to wander off as she always did, leaving the defeated beast to be devoured by the birds or insects. It had done well for itself and Sarisha hoped that it would not be the last time that she would face a monster of that calibre. She doubted that it would be as the mysterious mage who kept sending the requests seemed adamant in defeating her. Well, perhaps next time he would send a stronger creature to do the job or if she was lucky, perhaps he would come himself. It was a rather cowardly tactic to hide behind monsters anyway and Sarisha hoped to one day have the chance to beat him to a bloody pulp like his beasts. She briefly wondered if perhaps he was a beast himself, a thought that sent a pleasant shiver down her spine. That would be fantastic and brought a grin to her face. Draining him of all of his fluids would be a special occasion and she sincerely hoped that it would come to pass.

Humming to herself as she disappeared in to the trees, the pinkette once more set out on her lifelong quest of adventure and blood. There never seemed to be an end to it which she was eternally thankful for. There was always someone else who needed to be beaten, humiliated or killed and it seemed to fall to her most of the time. She was an outcast, a God among mortals, loyal to herself and no one else. It gave her such an immense sense of freedom knowing that. The Magic Council had no hold over her, as they did for the fools who allowed themselves to be branded like cattle, under the thumb of a so called master. It was something that she would never do. She was not a lonely teenager, desperate to find a a purpose or desperate for somewhere to belong. No, she already had both of those things. Her purpose was to spread chaos and to feed her and her partners desire for blood and she belonged on the road, with her partner for company. Everything else was meaningless to her.

Her thoughts soon started to dwell on her adventure thus far which caused her grin to widen. All of the jobs, the sensations and the sheer elation of it all. How her life had changed since she had reached out to her blue haired soul mate and bound her life to hers. It had been the most important decision of her life and she could not be happier for making it. She had spent three years following the Goddess before finding her and it had all been worth it in the end. How long would the adventure last? Well, that was hard to say. Until someone actually had the strength to beat her, she supposed. Was there anyone who could do that? Doubtful. The thought of her losing to a mortal was folly and she knew that she would eventually have the strength to beat her Godly kin as well. It was only a matter of time, a matter of power and a matter of blood.
