Into the Brig (Open to CS or with permission)

Elvira appeared outside one of the small clinics aboard the Crystalli; a facility that could respectfully house a body. She reached down to grab Azutite's wrist, preparing to lift him into a fireman carry when her delicate fingers felt a faint pulse.

"Oh ****." She mumbled as she quickly used the card in her hand to teleport again, this time to the front of a small nondescript building which blended in perfectly with the aesthetic of the ship. She quickly dragged him inside onto a small lift, descending down into the secure area just below deck which housed the small row of seldom-used cells that made up the ship's brig.

Elvira hefted him into one of the small but well-appointed holding rooms and onto the bed; quickly she placed one of her cards between his hands and channeled her ethernanos through his body, activating the card just prior to retreating out of the cell and locking the dark wizard securely inside behind the magic-resistant door.

Moments later a steady stream of water materialized above Atuzite and trickled down onto his face; restoring life to his body. Satisfied she activated the nearby lacrima-screen and used the emergency number to leave a message for the guild's ranking officers informing them of their new prisoner. That done, she set the dead snake out of sight and dropped into a chair; mentally exhausted.

Elvira looked at the man in the cell with an inscrutable expression while picking the feather of one of the birds who'd been pecking her out of her hair.

"I apologize for the loss of your pet, I don't know who that was." She said while carefully checking to make sure the dark mage was safely secured in the cell.

"Take some time to cool off and have something to eat." Elvira motioned to a box of magically sealed rations. "There should be some magazines and such in there --shower, toilet, basic things." She paused for a moment before continuing. "I imagine you'll be turned over to the magic council but I don't know the policy for sure...truthfully you're the first wizard I've seen attack the ship before..." The old cliche of "very brave or very foolish" seemed to apply here, though she didn't feel like giving him the satisfaction of saying it out loud.

"I need to go make sure my student gets home safely. I wouldn't try to escape." She said, gesturing to the lacrima vision cameras on the wall. "I'm sure someone who makes more Jewels than I do will be by to talk with you eventually." The young wizard nodded, waiting to see if the mage had anything to say for himself, before collecting the snake's body and exiting the brig.

Elvira returned to the brig later that evening, carrying a capsule with the magically preserved body of Atuzite's snake inside. She wasn't really sure what to do with it but it seemed right that the man should decide for himself how to handle his companion's body. She set the capsule down beside his things outside the cell and glanced at him through the window.

"It sounds like the rune knights'll be waiting to pick you up when we land tomorrow; they'll decide where you go from here. Anything else you want to say before I leave you for them to handle?" She asked with a muted expression.

"Your snake." She responded. "Seemed like you should be the one to decide what to do with it. She tilted her head to the side and listened to his request and sighed.

"Light guilds huh? There isn't any such thing. Yes, I know you meant legal, but just because we're officially sanctioned doesn't mean we ride around on white horses with pennants slaying dragons or anything. You are making a binary distinction. You really don't need to make enemies of every other guild...if you're so anxious to prove yourself in a fight why not just issue a challenge? I'm sure there are plenty of people who would take you up." She shrugged and turned to leave. "Not my business anyways I suppose. Nice knowing you skull boy." She waved her arm and left, ignoring whatever insults were hurled after her.

The ship touched down the next day, where a contingent of the council's rune knights waited to escort Atuzite away for trial. Elvira was not in attendance.
