Personality: Some might rather graciously describe Dmitry as difficult, abnormal, and a tad bit rude. Others would less charitably call him impossible, confusing, absolutely tactless. However, nobody, not even the kindest soul could deny one simple fact: he is different. Not simply different in terms of his beliefs or appearance or even his habits. No, this young man is fundamentally unique down to the very way he thinks, the intrinsic functions of his mind. While he is physically as mortal as he ever was, his mind is less like a human's and more like that of a wild animal. Make no mistake, he is just as capable of rational thought as any other person his age, as well as speech, the use of tools, and especially the use of magic. However, while most would look at a given situation from the perspective of an adjusted member of society, Dmitry will look at it through the eyes of a beast.
However, despite all this, he isn't as dangerous to those around him as one might believe, at least not inherently. While he may have incredibly strong survival instincts, the go hand in hand with an indomitable will, meaning there are some things he simply won't do. For example, should he come to see someone as an all, let alone friend, he will do everything in his power to protect them and will never bring them harm. He also has a policy of avoiding human deaths, though only for practical reasons as opposed to moral.
Unfortunately, this will and his animal like nature typically make a poor social combination, making him brash and stubborn as a mule at the best of times. Whats more, his lack of understanding when it comes to society will often put him at odds with normal civilians and even a few friendly mages, typically because of abnormal or downright rude behavior. The wretched cherry on top is that he will not hesitate to settle such disputes with a simple brawl, obviously causing more harm than good in most civilized places.

- Having grown up in environments where a deep sleep is impossible or ill advised, the young man will take any opportunity he can to catch up on his rest, regardless of the time of day.
- Naturally, being magically, spiritually, and psychologically connected to such places, Dmitry is at peace in place of dense wilderness.
- Another rather obvious result of his past as a woodsman is his desire for food.
