(Character Job) Family Affairs (Part 1)

Job Title: Family Affairs (part 1)
Rank: B (Character Job)
Player Requirements: Players must be at least B rank or higher. Akryn must be in the group.
Job Requirements: 12,000 word count minimum, Akryn must escape. Defeating the foes is optional.
Job Location: Hargeon Town
Job Description: A warning has gone out to members of the West Fiore Trading Company, secretly known as Onyx Moon. One of their members is being targeted for an unknown reason, for capture or assassination, the motives are unclear. Due to the obvious possible breach in secrecy, as well as the blow that the guild would receive to its image, this plot must be stopped and the member rescued. Locate and protect Akryn Motomiji, now.

Enemies:
Weak: Scorpion Tail Scouts - 20- Lowly D rank scouts, they seem to be tracking the giant target and leaking his location to other sources. Eliminating them may make it easier to escape with Akryn, since the route will no longer be leaked. They seem to not be real members of the guild though, as they hold no real information as to their employer. That info will need to be gleaned from another source.

Each of them requires at least 100 hp worth of damage to defeat and use some form of D rank magic.

Normal: Scorpion Tail Bounty Hunters - 10 - These thugs in light armor wield chains with magical shackles on the end, which will snake out and snag their target. The thugs will then begin attempting to drag the target away to some other foe. They are C rank mages, and each of them uses some form of C rank restraining magic. Their threat lies in their ablity to limit movements and hold the target down for stronger opponents.

Each Bounty Hunter is considered a C rank mage, and requires at least 200 hp worth of damage to go down. These also do not appear to be full members of the guild, and lack any information on who is targeting Akryn.

Strong: Scorpion Tail Collectors - 3 - The Collectors are stronger than those who have come before, bearing the names Braze Dourfen, Shieren Somag, and Fantine DeLefleur. These foes are not to be underestimated.

Braze Dourfen is a tall and fit man of an older persuasion, wearing a fine suit with neat and trmmed grey hair, beard, and moustache. Braze uses a B rank crash magic, focused around his own form, giving any movement he chooses an absolutely devastating effect. Melee combat with this foe will deal 20 hp to the attacker per an attack, ranged combat is suggested. This foe requires 300 hp worth of damage to defeat.

Shieren Somag is a short woman, barely five feet tall, and very muscular, with firey red hair down her back and over her shoulders, shaped in the manner of a lions mane. This woman uses a B rank earth magic. She will primarily use her magic to shift the ground from under her opponents feet, knocking them prone or causing them to stumble, leaving them open to an attack from her large and heavy halberd. She is also capable of attacking with her earth magic but seems to prefer her tactics of messing with an opponents footing. She takes 300 hp worth of damage to defeat.

Fantine DeLefleur is pale woman, tall and lithe, cloaked in a pleasant blue dress. Her long purple hair is well maintained with a jeweled broach in her hair. Fantine uses a B rank electricity damage to stunning effect, capable of battling multiple opponents in multiple ways. Her versatility in combat is her key strength, and her surprising skill in hand to hand combat makes her even more dangerous. Fantine requires a minimum of 300 hp worth of damage to defeat.

Upon defeat each individual will be found to have on their body a piece of paper sewn to their skin. On the paper is drawn a detailed black scorpion mark, claws extended with the tail curled entirely around the body. This mark does not appear anywhere else on these three, nor in any form on the lower ranked opponents. These targets upon questioning will be unable to answer who is after Akryn, except for the name of the guild, Scorpion Tail. They will be able to tell very little of use for the guild, only that someone above them is here.

Boss: Raegis Cade - 1 -

Raegis Cade is a towering, fifteen foot tall giant. His raw strength is greater than anything in the city, including the mages he has come to battle. With him is a massive war axe which deals 50 damage per successful hit and deals light damage with each blow. Raegis is an A rank mage, using a poison magic. He can exhale powerful toxins from his mouth, exude a cloud of caustic material, make the ground acidic around him. Raegis has a high amount of health, requiring 1000 points of damage to defeat. On his large belly is a black tattoo, the mark of a scorpion with its claws extended, and the tail wrapped around the body. This is the only person in this battle with this tattoo, and the only person with any answers. The guild after Akryn is the same one he came from at his birth, a notorious guild of murderers known as Scorpion Tail. Akryn and his siblings took something from the guild when they left, and its leadership has put a bounty on the item, and the hands of the thieves. This battle seems far from over.....

Reward: These members are wanted by the law, and turning them in will gain the group 35,000 jewels, to be split among the party. The group also receives appropriate exp, and gains access to the next part of the Family Affairs job line.
