    I was never meant to live.
    Crisp, soft and cold that was what this morning told for it’s story the sun just barely peeking over the edge of the horizon the skies filled with a dance of warm colors. Birds chirped their songs as this crisp cool air would soon heat up in the coming of time but for now the shifting of the bed inside the Silver Moon Inn was all that could be heard. Raising her head from the pillows she had brought into her room Malva with disheveled crimson hair would look around the room sighing and shaking her head. Holding a hand over her chest she would sigh a pit of loneliness filling her as she took a glance to the time noticing she was up at five in the morning. Having left Infinity Hydra to pursue a way to increase her power to match her father's and then succeed them she now lived with the guild Black Rose and yet she could feel the pit in her heart as she missed already the sounds of her father's early morning training and even others too. Even so she had made the choice herself and with a deep breath and a raising of her head she would nod fiercely moving to her rooms bathroom to get ready.

    Walking from the Inn she would look around the city its streets mostly empty apart from shop owners and chefs getting prepped for the day. Malva herself had needed clothing that would fit the setting as her attire was limited between midian Kimonos that her father had gotten her and her combat outfit which she did not wear on normal occasions. Her Kimono was white in color adorned with red and orange flame patterns and tied with a pure white silken band, and to her side she had the sword she never left without. Looking from side to side she would continue her move through the city soon noticing the rumbling of her stomach as she would soon head towards a cafe taking a seat in their outside area. As she ate her morning breakfast she would prop her head up with her arm staring into the distance of the city wondering if anyone else was as lonely as she felt this time around.

    got a lighter?
    Vana had remained in Rose Garden for a few more days even after the job that she took with the pirate boy. Oblivious to the fact that it was owned by a well-known legal guild, the Grim sorceress had been staying at the Silver Moon Inn for a few weeks. She had been meddling with some lacrimas and tech tools that she illegally purchased from a local black market, trying to put together something sick for a weapon. Her inn room was basically a huge fucking mess right now and she didn’t feel like cleaning it up. She wasn’t the greatest with all this technical shit, that was made sure after she tried to assemble something that almost exploded in her eye. Anyways, so now she just needed to chill for a bit before going back to work on that weapon. She had to make sure to leave the ‘Do Not Disturb’ hanged on her door so that the housekeepers would stay out of her safe haven (for now).

    On her way out, she bumped into someone who was dressed like a bellboy. Apparently she wasn’t the only person who was stressed out of her mind, because the bellboy person gave her a ‘u wot m8?’ look which prompted her to say, “My fucking bad,” at him before she got out through the spinning doors and reach into her pockets for her cigarette pack. You would probably be thinking something like, ‘Damn that sixteen year old smokes?’ Well, you guessed it, not like...it wasn’t already fucking obvious already. Anyways, so she brought out one cigarette, placing the butt between her lips, shoved the pack back into her pocket and then fished out her lighter from another pocket. But it wasn’t there.

    “Shit,” she said, the word muffled with the cig in her mouth. To any unmindful passerby, she would appear as a weird teenager feeling herself up and down as she searched for her lighter. Finally realizing that it was nowhere to be found on her person, Vana would look around for the nearest person. Upon spotting a redhead about her age (even though Vana was a giant for her age), maybe even younger, she strode over and tapped her shoulder saying, “Hey you got a lighter?” As you can see she doesn’t even care to think that not everybody was like her - not everyone smoked at such a young age and probably didn’t have a lighter.

    I was never meant to live.
    Slowly she set down the utensils of which she had finished usage patting her lips with a napkin to remove any leftovers. Turning her head from side to side she would attempt to search for a waiter hoping to get a quick to go cup for her morning tea and perhaps a refill when the scent of smoke laden skin caught her. Turning her head she would notice a lady that looked to be not too much older than herself a scowl on their face and a cig in their mouth. Trying to pretend like she had not seen the woman a tap to her shoulder would all but thwart her attempts as with a quick sigh at hearing the request she would shake her head, “I apologize I do not have a lighter.” Lifting up a finger she would focus her eyes closing as the skin upon it would turn a translucent orange with yellow splotches and lifting the finger would ignite the tip of the cig reducing it to all but ash yet lighting the rest for her as at least three fourths of it remained. With a quick gasp she would bow her head, “S-Sorry! I did not mean to go so far! I don’t have the best control…” As she blushed from her mistake she could feel the heat rising as in an instant she would yelp and slam money down on the table, “U-Uhhhhh Sorry for the mistake please forgive me!” In the next moment she would dash away heading towards an empty alleyway as she gasped for air upon reaching it.

    In the darkness an orange glow would come from her as the kimono ignited into tatter ash falling to the ground as Malva groaned, “That is the third Kimono this week… I need to buy some fire proof clothing besides my combat one…” Sitting on the ground her body a glowing translucent orange with the yellow splotches all over while her eyes were a stark red with yellow pupils and a sideways Iris like a goats or a horses. If one looked closely they could see small nubs of horn beneath her hair that would only show when she became like this and as was she was stark naked her red hair doing it’s best to cover her as she searched through a bin hoping to find something she could use to cover up, “Come on, come onnnnnnn!” At this point the thirteen year old could barely contain her embarrassment as the plastic garbage bags began to melt and the stark smell of burning plastic began to escape the alley.

    let me help you
    The child told her that she didn’t have a lighter, which Vana would nod and reply by mumbling, “Oh.” But before she could turn around and get someone else to borrow her a lighter, the little redhead then did something that was completely out of the blue. She would point her finger at the cigarette and try to light it with magic. Of course, she was in Fiore, how could she expect to not find mages randomly like that? But this girl seemed to be a fledgling as she didn’t have control over her magic and accidentally burned a huge portion of her cigarette. Vana automatically activated a defensive coating using her magic in case she did more than burn her cigarette. Thankfully, she did not, otherwise there would be unnecessary damage done. Deactivating her shield, Vana parted her lips to say something when the girl ran off saying she was really sorry about her mistake.

    Spitting the remains of her cigarette to the ground and following where the girl went with her eyes, she decided to chase the girl. Maybe she would make a good dinner? Or even lunch? What time was it even? Whatever time it was, this kid could make a great meal for the cannibal. Although she was truly a cannibal, Vana didn’t like to be dubbed as such a thing. The term felt like it was made for lowly beings. The difference was - she didn’t need to eat humans all the time. She only felt like it sometimes, and this was one of those times. With a wicked grin spread across her face as vile thoughts circled her mind, the grim sorceress turned into the alleyway that her victim headed into, her facial expression shifting immediately before she got into the alley.

    “Hey there,” she smiled, noticing that the girl was stark naked and her whole body was on fire. “You look like you need some help. Let’s try to calm down and I can help you,” Vana told her, slowly approaching her. “Don’t worry, I’ve forgiven you for your mistake earlier. I’m only concerned about your well-being and have no intention to harm you.”

    I was never meant to live.
    Eyes turned like tiny red jets as the sounds of a voice behind her caught her panicked attention flame bursting from her now fully orange skin. All across her naked body the orange skin covered was tiny pulsing yellow splotches almost acting as if Malva herself were a liquid her eyes red with a yellow center and goat like irises. Quickly covering her front she would turn herself to face the woman telling her it was alright backing off and in true Malva fashion screaming out, LEAVE ME ALONE as flames ejected from her mouth from the scream igniting a nearby bag of garbage. Almost as if that scream alone had allowed it to find her from above a flaming object landed in front of Malva a tiny being made of moving and pulsing flame with green gems on top of deer like horns and two massive gems one could only assume acting as eyes. Touching her left leg the tiny creature standing no taller than a toddler would hug Malva causing her to calm her nerves as she looked over at the woman hoping she had not scared her off. “S-Sorry… I get nervous when others come near me like this… Spirit please go grab me my combat outfit… It can stand the heat for now.” Nodding it’s tiny head it would quickly run past Nirvana it’s eyes briefly meeting hers almost as if it could see her intentions and yet the tiny being knew nothing as it suspected the worst of all near the child.

    Getting up and using a hand to cover her more sensitive areas she would look over to the woman she had helped sighing, “I am sorry for you needing to see me like this… It happens from time to time when my emotions get too out of control in any sense… It has gotten even worse lately for some reason.” Shaking her head she would hold out a still orange glowing hand forgetting that it would most likely incinerate the poor womans flesh on contact, “My name is Malva… Yours?”
