Special Characteristics: As a result of a curse placed upon Shen many years ago, he does not age. His body is frozen in time and he cannot change in any way so he could be considered to be Immortal. He does not require food or sleep, though he does eat occasionally for pleasure and he'll sometimes sleep so that he may dream. Though despite being frozen in time he can still be killed by external forces.
Personality: An enigma, is the best way to describe Shen. No matter how well you think you know him, he can always surprise you and do something completely unexpected. In reality, what you think you know of him is a fabrication he lead you to believe meant to confuse and manipulate you to his benefit. He shows emotion where it is needed, laughing and acting friendly when meeting new people, but he actually feels very little. This doesn't mean, that he's completely void of emotion, he has just yet to find something to care for. He views most things as worthless as a result of his immortality. Friends and lovers eventually die and material things mean nothing to someone who's going to live forever. He has come to terms with these harsh realities and feels no remorse for things that are lost or people that he has killed. This makes Shen extremely powerful and a dangerous enemy. There is nothing that can be used against him.
If ever he had a weakness, it would be his anger. Though he wouldn't show it externally, he is very easily angered and he tends to take it out on those around him in various ways. His manipulative nature would drive him to find some way to humiliate those who've angered him or make them feel intense regret before killing them. Many consider him ruthless for this, which is something to be respected among dark mages. Shen knows better than anyone that respect is a powerful thing so sometimes he'd even fake anger to get a certain reaction from his subordinates. He never lets his anger get the best of him though, regardless of how angry someone has made him. It does however change his priorities a little. If he can punish them without consequence then they should consider themselves dead already, however if they still have some worth and would benefit him more alive then of course he'd minimize their punishment so that they'd still manage to survive.
Despite what he'd try and lead you to believe, he has no honor or mercy. If fighting dirty ensures his victory then he will fight dirty. It's as simple as that. He views honor only as a means of restraining oneself. When it comes to survival there are no rules or obligations, only life or death and so he's not above using dirty tricks or cheap tricks to catch his opponents off guard. However, portraying honor sometimes has its benefits. When there are spectators to a fight, he'll show dignity in order to lead others to believe something that isn't true. While acting under a leader he'll act obediently until the opportunity to overthrow said leader comes along. Above all, Shen is cold and calculating. He chooses when to fight dirty or to show honor and who to kill and when. He's an opportunist
Likes:
- Chess: Shen is fond of strategy games, especially Chess. He enjoys thinking and out smarting his opponent. Anything which allows him to demonstrate his superior intellect and insight interests him very much and some would consider this a weakness of his. He has a very hard time resisting a challenge.
- Pandemonium: Hysteria, Disarray, Panic, Chaos. Shen enjoys creating a panic on a large scale and often his plans involve widespread panic and confusion. He gets an overwhelming feeling of power when he's capable of easily manipulating the feeble minds of the mediocre stock.
- Tasty Food: Shen only eats for pleasure since he isn't required to in order to live. He'll only eat the finest or most exotic foods with bursting flavors and good taste. He's especially fond of sweets and fruit.
Dislikes:
- Confinement: Shen particularly hates the feeling of being constricted. Whether it be tight clothes or narrow hallways, Shen always feels very uncomfortable when he's crowded. This is a result of some very traumatic experiences he had the displeasure of experiencing as a young child when his village was invaded.
- Loosing: Shen is a particularly sore looser. When one of his master plans fail or he's out smarted in some way he becomes very angry. Usually he tries to find a way to humiliate those who've outsmarted him or find some way to make them regret ever crossing him.
- Inferiority: Since he's trapped in the body of a teenager he's constantly looked down upon by those who appear older than him, despite the fact that he's actually a senior. Shen believes himself to be far superior than most mages, so he is easily angered by those who would judge him by his appearance.
Motivations:
- Self Preservation: The most basic instinct of all, in Shens case is the most important. There aren't many people Shen really care about, nor is there any material thing Shen thinks is worth dying for. He'll kill, steal or destroy whatever it takes in order to survive.
- Absolute Freedom: Shen desires the freedom to do whatever he wants and take whatever he desires. Though this is obviously a problem considering that there are laws set down by the Magic Council and the Kingdom. Ultimately Shen must eliminate them somehow in order to achieve this goal and so he is motivated to destroy the Council to attain the Absolute Freedom he yearns for.
- Knowledge: Shen possesses a thirst for knowledge, whether it be historical knowledge or magical he wants to know everything. He reads several books a week and as a result of being trapped in a younger body his brain is capable of absorbing far greater amounts of information.
Fears:
- Imprisonment: Shens immortality is both a gift and a great curse. Should he ever allow himself to be captured and be imprisoned he would live out eternity in a jail cell. Shen considers this to be a fate far worse than death and he would do literally anything to avoid it.
- powerlessness: Shen has lived with magic for as long as he could remember and there has not ever been a single day that he has not used magic to accomplish something. He considers himself to be one of the few special mages in the world with potential far beyond that of the average being. There are many ways in this world, to strip a mage of his magic and he is perfectly aware of that fact. One of Shens greatest fears is having his magic taken from him permanently and becoming a helpless, average human being. Being incapable of performing the most menial of tasks or even defending himself. Though unlikely to ever happen, the thought dwells in his mind.
- Growing Old: Having lived his entire life in a youthful and strong body, growing old and weak frightens him greatly. Though this fear is irrational, considering his bodies current state, the thought still terrifies him greatly. There is always the possibility of his curse being lifted.

Appearance: Shen, though short possesses a very dominant aura. He is very muscular and athletic, having a very small amount of body fat if any at all. His piercing Red eyes are somewhat large, yet very clear and he has very delicate facial features which makes him appear young. His hair is as long as he is tall and he keeps it tied in a pony tail which. He wears black Arabian style clothing along with gold accessories such as an Indian chunari around his neck and gold bracelets and ankle bracelets.
