Post by Jiyu Kazehime 14th September 2016, 8:21 pm

Early morning sun leaked through the poorly shielded window, oh nope that was not an actual shudder on that window, it was poorly woven fabric hanging over the front counter of her father’s shop! The tiny girl clutched the book she had been holding in her sleep recently, rolling over onto her side only to find her way blocked by her father’s well muscled side. Ebony hair obstructed her view as she opened her tiny eyes, small tears pricking at the sides of them; She woke every morning expecting this all to be a nightmare! Each morning she thought she’d be in her room with her parents across the hall, and her father would have her mother in his arms instead of a bottle. A few nights after her mother had been found burned to death? She noticed her father starting to go heavy on the whisky, and now he barely woke up, it was concerning to say the least, but she was a child incapable of doing anything for it. Jiyu went to work doing the only thing she could do, standing up, struggling to brush her lower back length hair till it was free of knots, and placing her white sun dress onto her body. Once she was ready for her day? The little girl yanked the cover off the window of her father’s shop. “Daddy it’s time to start the day, I’m going to go get breakfast.” the drunk groaned, dismissing his daughter with his left hand as his right brought the bottle to his lips and a frown to hers. Clutching her book to her chest, she turned and walked away pain in her odd colored eyes, blinking away the tears because she had to be strong right now, somehow, she couldn’t cry forever.

Now how was she going to eat when she had no money, and her father was out cold?

Kazehime walked in her bare feet, steps wobbly from the pain of newly forming calluses, sores and bruises. As of yet? Her father had not even attempted to get her new shoes, and honestly it was a relief to her, it was a fight they didn’t need yet! Jiyu already knew she’d never wear shoes again, if her mother could not fulfill the promise to buy her new ones, than the child did not want shoes, ever again. Even if her feet bleed and felt like they were falling off, the little girl did not want shoes, it made this all too final and too painful, the thought of completing that final promise with someone other than her gorgeous mother. “Jiyu? Oh my-” this is what she was counting on this morning, it made the little girl sick to her stomach, but she had no other options, nothing else would work at the moment! Large eyes looked up at the shop keeper who had spoke, a woman about thirty years old with short curly slightly silvered hair and kind eyes. Everyone in this village? Seemed to have kind eyes, but it all felt numb by now, she hated the pity, because their looks of sympathy made it more real, yet she could not refuse them. “Good Morning Mrs.Ackerman.” her small voice rose up, and her eyes averted the gaze, a slight red tinge covering her face at the shame of what she was doing. If you realized someone was giving you items out of pity instead of kindness, you should stop them, right? Yet she had to get by somehow until her father came out of his depression, and right now that was by taking pity to provide them both with food, since he didn’t even get up most days! “Is your father not around again today?” the woman’s voice was concerned and Jiyu nodded sadly, solemly to confirm the suspicion of the older female. “Than you haven’t eaten yet, it’s important for a growing girl to eat, come on join us and you can bring some back to your father.” she felt her back pushed slightly and followed the woman in to eat with her family, because she had no other choice. Throughout the whole meal Jiyu remained mostly silent, and they all looked at her sadly, she nearly couldn’t take it, but she did her best to smile for them. “Thank you.” and with that, having finished the waffles, she was free to take her dad’s portion back and do something else.

Hours later she was wandering through the town once more, aimlessly just meandering. Right now? Most of the other kids did not know what to say to her, considering she had lost her mother, they all wanted to say something to help, but there was nothing they could say. “Huh?” as she was walking to join the other children out in the lands surrounding the village to play? The female noticed another child who had not left out to play with the other’s yet, turning to walk over to him, clutching her book to her chest and looking at him with a blank expression, staring before a smile came to her face, one so wide it closed her eyes. “Good Morning, I’m Jiyu, What’s Your Name?”

The young child had only recently been taken into the Foss family, and was still refusing to claim that as his last name. He was only taken in out of pity, and that little girl of which would be his adoptive sister, was just disgusting. She was so pure, so innocent, like a little angel that was sent to earth, it was annoying. How she always wanted to help him out, and no matter how psychopathic he was, she didn't give him eyes of disgust or horror. He hated it, she was practicing her violin, so he took the chance to run off for a little while. Just get a breath of fresh air, though the sunlight was annoying. Wearing a black cap to cover his eyes from the injuring light, being photophobic was rather annoying and irritating, but it came with being born in his family. He also wore no shoes, and some shorts and a t-shirt that were also the color of his hat. Black was a color he thought best suited him, being a wielder of dark magic and all. Bandages and band-ads covered different parts of him, his legs, arms, face, etc. etc.
The abnormally tall seven year old sat quietly under the shade of a large tree, some kids attempted to walk up to him and ask him to play with them. But one they saw his deadly glare and his terrifying aura, along with his weird lanky appearance, they called him a freak and ran off. Which the child actually wanted, he wanted to be alone, just left alone to his own mind. Well not really his own, the voices were rather loud. What voices you may ask? Well it depends, first of all there is that of the monsters, and he are being metaphorical here. They are literal monsters, they call themselves void demons, or children of the god Inanis. The they came into his already unsteady brain after this said god talked to him for the first time, about a year ago. The other voices were his own, to be expected from a psychopath, different parts of himself arguing with each other. A rather common thing to happen in the child's brain, it was oddly calming to him, he has always had them. So it was extremely weird to him and unsettling when they were quiet, usually people are yelling for the voices to shut up when people have them. Which is something he occasionally does, when upset or has a headache, but most of the time he is begging for them to come back. He hates being alone, as much as he hates to admit it, and he probably never will, the voices of the monsters and his own monsters where comforting to him. They were all he had after his sister vanished and assumed dead, so he was scared to have them leave.
Lifting his head only slightly, even sitting he was almost the same height as the girl who was standing. A bright little smile on her face, and a book held in her arms. She greeted him politely and asked him for his name, and even though he glared at her, she wasn't scared off. The child wiped some sweat off of his snow pale face, and he stood to his feet, now looming over the girl. Even though she was most likely older or the same age as him, his height was monster like. "Leave us alone you little bitch, do we look like we want to fucking talk to you?" he said rudely with words that a boy his age shouldn't know, none the less be saying. He addressed himself as multiple people, in 'us' and 'we', because like I mentioned earlier 'different parts of himself'. You can elaborate on that in whichever way you please.

Post by Jiyu Kazehime 15th September 2016, 9:12 am

Being around people freakishly taller than her never really bothered the child, considering her father was possibly one of the tallest men in the village. Even if she was pissed with the way he was throwing everything away now? Existing in the presence of someone who stood higher than she did, right now it was a form of comfort, of course almost everyone was taller than Jiyu because even at this age she was oddly short. Considering the height difference, that glare really was not frightening to the little girl, actually it looked funny to have someone so huge glaring at something so utterly tiny, petty maybe that they were so guarded towards a being that obviously could do no harm. In fact the event was so humorous to her, she had to bite her tongue within her mouth, to prevent laughter from rising in her throat! To distract herself from the joker like glare in his dark shaded eyes, she began to run her differently pigmented eyes over the male before her, taking everything in. He was odd in terms of looking like he belonged in the village, first off most of the men in this village cut their hair short, they were workers who could be put in danger by long hair, and from that example most male children here had short hair. So from the get go? She could assume he had originally come from out of town due to his about shoulder length hair. While it was not overly long, it was lengthy compared to the other male childrens classic hair cuts, their fades and top knots. Next was his clothing, the cap was weird, but interesting, her eyes glued to it for a good few moments, before drifting down to his shirt and shorts, nodding to herself about the details she’d observed and the facts she drew from them. She was ready to continue this interact in any way she was required to, the path was his to decide until he threw it back into her court.

His vocabulary was bigger than hers, and the little girl's words eyes widened at his speech. At the moment? She had no way to know those were bad words, only that he possessed knowledge she did not yet have and she lusted for that information to be hers as well, even if she had to take it from the boy! Even before her mother died she’d always had a book hidden somewhere on her person, knowing things about everything was someone’s best weapon against the world, her mother pounded that into her head! “Your smart, tell me what bitch and fucking mean” suddenly the child was closer than before, her large eyes sparkling up at him as if she had found something extraordinary, her book tight against her flat chest as she stood on her tip toes giving him puppy dog eyes that could cause fatalities. Considering she was a dog without actually knowing it? Jiyu was exceptionally good at begging and making people give in to her, not that she realized the true potential of that yet. In fact, her mother had discouraged it, so this was really one of the first times she was actually trying to, urge, someone to do what she wanted. “Please?” she could look like an angel with her pale skin and pure white dress, yet her black hair cascaded around her to the start of her lower back and ruined the image of an angel. With both her blue and green eye shining she looked up expectantly, his scare tactic clearly having not worked on her whatsoever. If anything? His actions seemed to make her more eager to not leave him alone anytime soon!

“So you have more than one of yourself to introduce? Go ahead, I have time.” she didn’t even question him, her expression was questioning but it wasn’t exactly towards him. If anything? He was interesting, and something she wanted to get to know more about. Anyone who had been in the village long enough knew, once this little puppy like female found something she enjoyed, it was worse than trying to take a bone from a dog. Now that he had made her interested? Jiyu was never going to leave him alone! “Also I really like your hat.” her feet finally scuffled back, because she’d gotten so close it had no longer been easy to look up at him. It was weird, how she seemed so calm and yet seemed unable to stay on one certain subject for too long.

This girl was starting to piss him off, she wasn't scared of him, she actually appeared to be holding in laughter. Which really started to get him upset, how dare she want to laugh at him?! His irritation started to make his black aura slip out, not enough for normal people to sense, but magic users probably could. He hasn't yet been taught how to keep that under wraps, he would learn sometime, hopefully. The child took a few steps away from the girl who seemed to be rather curious of him, his appearance did give him away that he wasn't really from around here. The longer hair, and even the color of it was odd in this place, though it wouldn't be in his original home town. But since it no longer existed, he would always stand out anywhere he went, especially here. It was a calm place, full of more happiness then most other places, people cared for each other as family. Probably where it got it's name, Peace Village from. His village was nothing like this, a cruel environment run by the highly esteemed musician family. Well that's what they called themselves, but everybody knew they were all just some nasty assassins. Lucius, being a part of the fallen family, but again I say fallen cause it no longer exists. Nobody outside of the town really knew much about it, just rumors, then biggest one being that it all got destroyed in one night with no survivors. That's not true though, not fully, Lucius survived after all, he was the one that destroyed the tiny village. So wandering away from there he was left to his own devices for a while, then he ended up here, and got taken into the Foss family.
Just in case he stuck his hand in his pocket, fingering his switchblade of which he really wanted to use on this small girl here. She asked him what the words he spoke were, clearly unaware that they were swear words of which he said. It was rather comical to him, odd that other children his age didn't know these words. When everybody in his village, besides the people who could speak such as young children, swore like this all the time like it was nothing. Her curious and begging puppy dog eyes were rather annoying him, unlike normal people who like animals and fell for those eyes all the time, he didn't. He didn't even like animals, so why would he like one that was just in the form of a human. After all humans were just a more intelligent species of mammals themselves. Though hoping it would make her leave, he explained to her, actually know the meanings of the words he spoke. He was a very smart child, a prodigy, genius, savant, whatever word you want to use for his type. But when he constantly swore like he does, it just makes him sound like an idiot. "Bitch means female dog, if you can't figure out why that's an insult then your just an idiot. Fuck is just a way for people to express their anger, but it can also refer to the sexual intercourse between to people" he said, turning and attempting to walk away from her.
The young assassin in training wanted to just be left alone, that's why he ran away from the house. To get some time to himself for a little while, then this girl, Jiyu, comes waltzing into his business. Asking for his name and complementing his hat, the nerve this kid had, couldn't she see he wanted to be left alone? He probably only had a limited amount of time before the little silver haired girl finished practicing on her violin and went looking for him, being the worry wart that she was. He didn't want to give her his name because then she could nickname him, call out to him, and do whatever else in a more familiar manner. Acting like she was his friend, it was bad enough with Astrid, he didn't want this girl also. It also annoyed him that she didn't care about the fact that he referred to himself as multiple people, you think it would make him happy. But I suppose after all this time of being criticized for it, he wasn't used to people not caring or being more curious about it in an innocent way. Jiyu was just as bad as Astrid, maybe even worse, who knows.

And while you are sitting indoors
waiting for the storm to pass
I will be outside dancing in the rain

    Speak of the devil.
“Lulu! There you are” The young violinist called out as she slowed her pace to stop just in front of her recently adopted brother, able to spot the strangely tall child next to the tree, as even against a taller object he still managed to project a daunting and looming aura about him.
She took her eyes off of him for one morning and he had managed to slip away right under her nose. It was almost as if he didn’t want to be around her or something. Though that was silly, she must be imagining things. It had only been the tenth or so time he had done it this week. Surely that didn’t mean anything. He probably just got lost a lot. Even if this was a small village it was still easy to get lost if you didn’t know your way around. When she had first gotten here herself she had done that a lot, even to the point where the entire village had to go look for her because she had gotten distracted by a butterfly and wandered off to chase and befriend it. It was understandable.
Soft blue eyes blinked as she looked from the boy to the girl, stepping back one small foot as they widened, realizing she had butted in on their conversation. The musician used a finger to twirl one of her two braid ends sheepishly.
“O-Oh. Sorry, am i errupting something?” She apologized, a red tinge of embarrassment fading onto her cheeks. Her speech was slightly slurred and incorrect, caused by her unknowingness of the english language. It was only two years ago that she finally started to learn it, having been deaf up until then. Therefore she couldn’t exactly speak as correctly as the other children, her words and phrases always ended up sounding slightly off. It was a known fact within the village, so people would usually end up correcting her, but with little successes of her actually remembering to use the right word next time.
Her eyes lingered upon the  familiar girl next to her brother. It was her. The girl who had recently lost her mother, or so the townspeople say. Her grandfather had not allowed her to see or hear much of what had happened. Though the name wasn’t coming to her mind she could at least realize she had seen her before, an extreme achievement for the girl. She wasn’t good at remembering faces or names, so it was a rare occurrence to even know she had seen someone before. Her grandfather had told her to not bring it up though, so she would not. It was apparently rude, or something. She didn’t want to be rude, and staring probably wasn’t helping.
Though a bit sheepish she offered an apologetic smile to both.
“I just came up to tell Lulu lunch is almost ready~” he had walked out of the house so fast she didn’t even have time to tell him when he should be back to eat. And to think he would miss out on a meal, especially once she was helping her grandfather make. She’d be upset if he didn’t get any.

One day she would be exceedingly good at pissing people off, heck she’d get off doing it, but for now Lucius was one of the few people genuinely ticked off by the well meaning little girl. Most people in the village had lived here to learn that if you appeased Jiyu well and truly, told her all she wished to know, the child typically moved onto something else for some time before returning to you. In summary, she was an easy woman to please, and once appeased she’d seem to simply vanish for some time, most times. This boy may not have the luck that other people had, he was truly foreign to her, an enigma, the oddest thing she’d seen in her life so far. Considering she now had a single claw into something that held so much of the unknown, she did not want to remove that claw to leave only a single bloody trail, she wanted to sink the other nine into him and maybe the ten on her feet could find purchase within his flesh as well! Innocently meant of course, it was a metaphor for the fact she wanted to discover more about him, one of the few beings in the village she’d had an express interest in befriending after her mother’s death. Lulu was flat out screwed right now, because while one day Jiyu would be a powerful magic user, she had not even begun to train yet! Jiyu’s parent’s had both been mages at one point in time, never anything significant but they had been magic users in some way. However that world had scarred and frightened her parent’s in the end, left deep wounds that they never wanted her to be required to carry! Thus they had always insisted their little girl was not ready to learn magic. That was one of the reasons Kazehime was so sure her mother was murdered! It was something she knew would take place, her death, Jiyu’s mother knew that when she sent her to the shop that day, she’d never get to see her little girl again; The proof was so clear, held right in her arms tightly against her chest, a book containing everything her mother knew of magic. Why when she had stuck so close to her father in the opinion that the little girl was not ready for magic, would her mother suddenly leave a magic book to her? Kazehime could only predict that her mother came to some sort of conclusion in her final moments before the flames, that the little girl would one day need the magic contained within, for her own safety.

Her senses were much duller than they would be in the future, but her dormant blood was enough to boost them, the metallic scrape, the strich scratch of his finger across the metal, giving him away to her. Jiyu’s face never faltered, showing no sign she’d caught onto to his malicious thoughts in anyway, tuning her senses into him and yet passing it off as a nervous gesture of his. She suspected him of wanting to murder her, and yet she chose the better path, the other option, despite her current history, she chose to believe in someone with a deadly weapon. “People compare me to dog’s lots so it’s not an insult to me.” one day that opinion would change, she would hate the comparison, but for now she had enough fond memories of being called ‘puppy’ or such from her parents, that being called a bitch was not really insultive to her, right now it was just kinda right. “You need anger management then Mint.” and with his resistance to her, Lulu put himself into more suffering, her large eyes staring up at him as if this was normal, just assigning her own idea of a name to him, a nickname. If he was ticked off by someone asking his name, then this boy needed classes on how to control his emotions! Jiyu could do nothing about his issues thought, she could only try to keep the one claw she had in him, lodged where it was.

The second she-devil haunting his soul appeared and he’d probably never get to pick which girl was worse. Astrid's softer voice broke through the air, drawing Jiyu’s gaze, she could recognize the voice easily, being as her memory was a pretty decent one. “His name is, Lulu?” the child cocked her head to the side, looking doubtful, as if she couldn't believe that was actually the name of a boy. Of course it was not her name, but now she had no true way of knowing that, honestly it would explain why he didn’t want to tell her his name! “I was just talking.” the little girl was just interrupting her fun, nothing serious, Jiyu was not possessive about her games yet, this age she didn’t even know she was playing. Lunch. Crap. Her stomach rumbled distinctly. “It’s that close to lunch already? Fuck…… Did I use the word right Lulu?” and now his sister knew that he was teaching other children to curse, Jiyu glancing down slightly, tightening her hands and turning her toes inward, feet shifting, red dusted across her face as she prayed her usage of ‘fuck’ had been correct. Even though she's just cussed? She still, innocence cling to her somewhat, despite what she had been through and hi words , she looked somewhat innocent. Astrid was an angel and Jiyu was an infant so to speak. You weren't winning no matter which one you took. Kazehime sighed, trying to figure out how she'd eat lunch today .

Keeping a tight grip on the folded blade, he proceeded to try and get away from her, if it was at least a few feet he would feel a little bit comfortable. But apparently nobody in this town knows about personal space, always hugging each other and giving each other pats on the back and handshakes, or whatever else you could name. He still wasn't used to it all, and knew he never would be. Leaning himself up against the tree of which they resided under, he moved his blue green gaze away from the girl to stare off into the distance, though more towards the ground. The child listened to the other child talk, saying that his insults weren't really all that insulting, so she was an idiot. Well that's what he thought at least, but with his ego, he thought that of everybody. Being quite the narcissist that he was, he saw himself above other people, metaphorically, but could work literally.
His eyes literally twitching in irritation when she nicknamed and made fun of him, apparently him not telling her his name backfired. Though he should've expected that, he couldn't really prevent the nicknames either way. "Fucking hell" he muttered to himself, looking up into the leaves of the large tree. Sitting himself down, bringing his knees up to his chest, he rested his arms on his knees and let his head drop. If she was going to keep bugging him, he would have to try and ignore her. Releasing a sigh from his lungs, he cussed under his breath again when he heard the soft voice of his elder adoptive sister.
"Oh great, the little crybaby shithead is here"
"Do at least hear her out, Master Fie"

His own voice, and the voice of another said in his head. Though to reply to this other voice he muttered aloud, probably confusing the two girls if they heard "Oh shut up" saying this as he stood back onto his feet, now looming over the two. Shooting a glare at the violinist "How many times do we have to tell you to call us by our name instead of giving us a girly nickname" saying thing in an irritated tone, he walked closer to her. Reaching down he flicked her forehead with one of his hands, while going back to fiddling with the knife in his pocket with the other "Lu-cius" he said his name, flicking to match with the split up syllables. Backing up and letting out another sigh, he turned over to look at the puppy girl, who had just swore and ask if she did it correctly. Rolling his eyes he responded "Yeah, sure, whatever" his voice hold extreme sarcasm and apathy with this statement.
"ShE jUsT sAiD fOoD, i'M hUnGrY"
    "Shut up your always hungry"
    "StIlL, lEt'S gO eAt"
"Yeah, and pray that she won't go and invite her over"
    "pRaY? tO wHo? InAnIs?"
"WeLl tHaT's ThE oNlY gOd wE kNoW sO, I gUeSs"
"Oh my god do you guys ever shut up?"
    "nO"

The voices of himself argued and discussed with each other in his brain, he left his thoughts to return to the real world "Fine, let's go Astrid" he said in a more grumbled tone. Turning he walked ahead of his adoptive sister, towards their house, still hoping that she wouldn't go inviting Jiyu. But knowing how nice she was, she would, great.

And while you are sitting indoors
waiting for the storm to pass
I will be outside dancing in the rain

Astrid let out three tiny squeaks each time the boy's finger came into contact with her forehead. She placed her hands over the middle protectively, feeling the little stings linger and leave a red mark.
"B-But Lulu is easier to say" she whined, lips quivering and blue eyes watering at the corners. With her speech problem the nickname was much easier to say than his normal full name. She found the combination of letters hard to fully speak. Calling him 'Lulu' was the only thing she could think to call him. It was simple and easy on her mouth.
Watching him begin to walk away the violinist's gaze moved back to Jiyu, tilting her head curiously as she heard the rumble of her stomach. That was supposed to be the sound someone made when they were hungry, so she had learned. That meant she was hungry. Any other kid may have shrugged it off and walked away, figuring it wasn't their problem. But Astrid was not just any other kid. When someone needed help she felt a strong urge to try and help them, no matter what she may need to do. Hunger wasn't any different. Her and her grandfather had made a lot of food for just the three of them. Usually so they could keep leftovers for dinner. So it wasn't like adding an extra person on would change anything too drastically. It only felt like the nice thing to do.
Turning her small body around to Kazehime the musician offered a gentle smile, holding her hand out to the girl.
"Would... You like to join us for some food?"
If the answer was no, Astrid would not force her to join them. But yet she could only hope her answer would be yes. Another new face at the dinner table would be nice, and a little less lonely.

She knew what hate was despite not being aware that she knew its face. The expression on the face of the man who had lit her house up and killed her mother? That was hatred, and it was her only experience with the emotion thus so far in her short life. Even though Mint seemed to dislike her, she couldn’t call his emotions hatred, that was a powerful word in her opinion, one with immense potential to ruin everything. So for now, she’d keep believing the rough sound of a blade being gripped, was a nervous habit instead of his dislike being so thick that he wished to end her meek little life! If you were going to kill someone, you had to hate them first, and this green haired boy had no real reason to despise her, thus if he wanted to kill her, the tiny girl was not certain she could keep believing in people. Ever since the day her mother died? Jiyu had been missing tons from her life, her feet standing so close to his because she lacked physical contact with other humans, at least compared to what her mother had provided! Akane had loved her daughter dearly, always holding the girl's hand or hugging her and Ambrose had once done the same to Jiyu, before his fiance died. After the flames had taken her mother, everything started changing for the young female, and the only way she was able to keep her head up was allowing herself to be a naive idiot. If the little girl had allowed herself to truly grow up the way an event like the loss of one's mother made someone grow up? Jiyu would have been unable to keep going , the child would not be standing here talking to the boy.

Not giving this little canine like human what she craved, it always backfired, Jiyu often got her way because whenever she didn’t get it, everything backfired. Sometimes? The fallout was not even her own fault, while other times like right now, she directly caused the event or her actions were the fallout. “Fucking…. Is that the active term of fuck?” it was a question, but one she did not seemed to actually need him to answer, small smile playing across her lips, green eye observing him as he sat down and seemed to begin ignoring her. Somehow she had to get his attention back, but that was something that coune else approaching and looked in the direction his sister was coming from, focusing in on where she would appear before any any normal human would be able to sense someone.

“Lucius.” she spoke out his name carefully, tilting her head with it, getting used to the feeling of it on her tongue, because he was one she would remember. The other girl was a name she was still striving for, one she knew but on the tip of her tongue it wasn’t easy to accomplish. As she listened to them speak, Jiyu realized now that she would have to hunt once more today, likely by fishing. Even though her mother was gone? The border collie like woman had taught her daughter everything she needed to eventually survive on her own, all Jiyu would need to learn was how to be on her own. However that was not something people should truly want to learn how to do! Instead she would have to learn to rely on people, even after they had hurt her, without allowing tension to emerge because of it.

“Yes…. please.” she seemed shocked that they had invited her. Normally? It was the adults that fed her, because they didn’t want to be seen as unsympathetic by the others around them. However since this invitation came from another child, it felt different from the last one’s. Kazehime looked at the pale haired girl, biting her bottom lip as she managed to nod alongside her verbal agreement. Taking food from others? Only reminded her that the one who should have been taking care of her, was passed out on the floor of his shop, drunk. “It would be very helpful” she gave something akin to curtsy as if swallowing pride. When she did manage to catch something from hunting, it was mostly small and not really any true meal for a growing girl, so the lunch with these two, it would really help out.

Of course she asked, he should've expected nothing less from his adoptive sister. Ignoring any talking that happened behind him, walking with both of his hands in his pockets. Releasing a quiet sigh from his lungs, he continued to lead the two towards the Foss house. Still referring to it as such due to him still not being comfortable addressing it as his own home, and he would always feel this way. Of course I'm not going to go through the explanation of why, again. It was odd for the boy in many ways of which ones I have already named, it was so much more comforting and safe. And he hates it, which you might wonder why the child would hate moving to better conditions. For him it feels as if he was given hell for the first parts of his life, then all the sudden, give him this. It was unexpected and uncomfortable, it was like 'God' or whatever was trying to get on his good side. He wasn't gonna trust any of this bright and happy way of living, it was to good to not be hiding something bad on the inside. That's how it always was, no matter how good people are, there is still something dark deep down inside of them. Though people would think opposite of this for people who wear their 'dark' on their sleeve, thinking they have something good inside of them. Which is how his adoptive elder sister, Astrid, thought like. It was annoying, pathetic and naive, he was tempted to run off from Peace Village because of how he felt about it. But for now he would stay, it would be good for him to get his strength back up. He just didn't want to get to attached to people, he had to remember, assassins don't need friends, only assets of which they can easily dispose of. Or at least that is what he has been told by his parents, and now his current guardian, the god of which owns his magic. Also doesn't want people to know about the things that has happened to him, and what kind of disarray is going on within the young one's brain. He got enough pity by looking like he does, wounds all over his body covered by bandages. His body looking like he barely ever eats, only skin and bones, it looked rather freaky to be honest.
Gladly it wasn't to far off from the place of which they were previously at, when they arrived at the house, the still slightly malnourished child reached out and turned the doorknob, opening the door. Looking around as he stepped up into the house, his feet firmly resting on the wooden floor. He let out a yawned, pulling his other hand out of his pocket, he cracked his knuckles out of habit. Glancing around the small house with his blue green eyes, he made his way to the dining area where he would ignore the greeting of Astrid's grandfather to the three of them. Sitting himself on a chair at the dining table, his feet just barely touched the ground, unlike the others who were still about a foot away from doing so. Seeing the plate in front of him he looked around for where the food may be hiding, he was starving, a growing boy such as himself needed to eat. Loving to eat now after barely being able to do so before "Where is the damn food, we're hungry" Lucius said in a gravelly and grouchy tone of voice.

And while you are sitting indoors
waiting for the storm to pass
I will be outside dancing in the rain

Having entered the small house the young girl was sure to remember to slip her shoes off near the door, using one foot to kick off the other before pushing them over to the corner. They had just cleaned the ebony wooden floors the other day. Well, more like she herself had cleaned the floors. With how old her grandfather was getting he wasn't fit for bending down too much, so it had been up to Astrid to clean it. Maybe it was because she had been the one to clean it, but she wanted to make sure it stayed clean. And shoes were the number one reason as to why the floor was getting so dirty all the time, with everyone coming in and out so much. The only thing worse at tracking in unwanted substances was her grandfather's work. Being the mechanic of the village it was usual for him to track back in some seriously nasty stuff, like oil or gasoline. She had made sure to clean her father's workshop as best she could... But there was only so much soap and water could do. In the end, she ended up leaving behind a strange, black circle beneath his desk. She wasn't sure what it was, but it stung her nose and the back of her eyes, so she had left it alone. How she wished he would clean up around there more often, such things were probably bad for his health.

Skipping ahead of them the young violinist made a beeline for the small room just to the side of the hallway before she stopped in her tracks at her grandfather's workshop entrace, looking upwards at the closed door in front of her.
Upon the golden door handle held a wooden sign, propped up by a worn piece of string.
'Do Not Disturb' was written upon it in red marker.
At the sight Astrid frowned slightly. Looks like he was busy again... They must have just missed him, noticing the distance echos and banging and drilling coming from within. Perhaps he was called in suddenly by a customer... Well whatever reason, she would have to remind herself to save some food for when the elder man was done. He was sure to be hungry when he returned.

Forcing a spring in her step she made her way towards the dinning room.
Once there Astrid perked her head up at Lucius' groan for food.
"It's in the ki-... Kit-K..." Unable to pronounce the word the silver haired girl's expression turned to pure concentration, eyes narrowed, staring down to her mouth as if it would help her by watching the way her lips formed.
    "K-Kitch-... Kissen"
Figuring she had gotten the name right the Foss smiled to herself in triumph.
Looking towards where Jiyu had placed herself the musician would offer her a small smile.
"Take a seat where ever you want. I'll be back!"
Hands flowing slightly behind her the girl rushed and vanished into the kitchen.
