Marschal entered the guild hall, rolling a small object between his fingers; a gem glittered glaringly in the light cast through the guild hall. His slim fingers curled around the item, concealing it from prying and thieving eyes that wanted to know what he held in his hand. He remained a statue, with no physical expression exposed on his face, but his eyes ran across those who were looking at him. Clamping his fingers tighter around the ring, Marschal could feel his heart beginning to beat faster, like it was about to explode from his chest. The fear was starting to overtake him, but why should he be fearful? Kakuma loved him, he loved her; they were bound only by time, itself. Sucking in a deep breath, he wondered if doing this right now was the correct thing to do; just a few weeks together and he already wanted to marry her. Eighteen years old, a whole life ahead of him, and this was what he chose to do to start off his adulthood with a bang.

"Such foul language for a, presumably, adult woman, and bad grammar at that..."; his heart beat quickly as the words crawled through his head like maggots. His impression toward Kakuma hadn't been the best, yet she had found him in the crowd of more important people and chose him. Of all people, the guild master had pinpointed him to pick at and poke fun with, played with his emotions until he couldn't resist her. For the love of God, what was he doing? Marschy faltered in his step, his heart skipped a beat, and he looked around. He maneuvered his fingers until they were hidden within the pocket of his jeans, still concealing the ring in his palm, as if he was afraid to lose it. It was almost as if the thought of losing the ring would mean that he would lose the beautiful Kakuma as well.

"Is Kakuma in her office? May someone go get her for me, please?" Marschal requested; however, no one could guess where the wolfish woman could possibly be. With a defeated sigh, the Hellish Lord would await the arrival of the woman of his desires, standing in the dead center of the hall.

Whilst he was waiting for the guild master to come around, he decided to adjust the scenery a bit... just a bit. A snap of his fingers and a dark force broke the working lights of the hall, and a series of floating flames decorated the space surrounding everyone. They cast a glow of omen, the fires licking at the air they enveloped, lighting up patches of the wood flooring. Despite the ominous feeling the fires imposed on the guild, it was Marschal's attempt at trying to be romantic. Another snap of his fingers and harmless flames blossomed from his free hand, creating a bouquet of inflamed flowers. Roses, to be exact.
