    Knowledge is sin, a deadly sin.
    It was a plain arena. A circular stadium with a square arena in the middle. An arena whose sides were 10m each. Marbel tiles made up the arena's floor. Each one 1 meter thick. El was waiting on this arena. Waiting to have a match he shoul have done a long ago. Waiting for a match against the Metal Dragons Slayer...Tanik. El was peacefully waiting. Calm. Compossed. Ready to begin fighting as soon as his opponent arivved. Ashuur was on his shoulder. He was waiting too. Both of them were itching for the fight. They knew that they had the upper hand. Or at least should. However neither El nor his pet were sure they would win. For even pets were intelligent and wise enough to know that battles were highly unpredictable. For all El knew a comet might strike him and kill him, losing the battle in the process. Though higly unprobable it wasn't impossible for it to happen.

    So El waited. Waited for the time to test his skills to come. He didn't brought his weapons and armor with him today. He wanted to be able to do this only with his own power. Ashuur insisted on coming too though. And so there they were. The mage and the raven. Waiting for the dragon to come.

    Tap Tap Tap, Tanik's boots rang out as he walked up the stairs into the arena. The Iron Dragon Slayer entered the arena for the third time since he had joined Sabertooth. He had used the arena as a means of building notoriety in the past. But this time all he really cared about was killing some time. And hopefully getting a win under his belt while he was at it. He walked through the entrance gate and got to see his opponent. El J Dawson. The slayer had never fought someone who utilized thunder magic, and thought that this would be a good learning experience for him. Tanik morphed his hands into iron and clamped them together, making a noise everyone in the arena could hear. "Good Luck!" He yelled to the storm mage. An epic battle was about to take place. The Iron Dragon vs The Dark Storm.

    Finally he is here. thought the thunder mage. The Iron Dragon Slayer, Tanik had arrived. He had made his presence clear by turning his hands into metal and clapping.

    "Good luck to you too" said El with as much chivalry he could before a grim smile appeared on his face. "Let's see what the Iron Dragon Slayer can do". With that he lashed towards Tanik. His spead reaching 12mph. He stopped a couple of meters in front of him and suddendly changed his path. El took a sharp turn so that we was facing Tanik's left shoulder. It's worth a try and also is a good start though Jackal. He halted his movements and wore a smirk. "I am going to make the start easy for you. By no means was El underestimating Tanik. Playing the part of underestimating him though was a good idea.

    El raised his right palm. Not cause the spell needed that but because it was dramatic. It could also lead to Tanik believing that the spell really needed that to be done. "Personal Strom" said a smirking Jackal with a joyous voice.

    Knowing that this spell can not be dodged El imidiatey jumped to his left, as he watched the greyish-black stormcloud form over Tanik's head. He was now facing his opponent directly and was 7 meters away from him. The aren didn't give you much space to move so he had to work with only 10 meters in each direction. Except above and below. Well it was enough space for him to fight into. All of the arena was in the range of his spells.

    By the twist of a finger two shadow figures arose from the shadows created by the stormcloud above Tanik's head. Both forms throwing a punch at him.

    Silence.... This was all that Tanik heard as the fight commenced. The crowds not daring to make a sound from the pure tension of the moment. The Dark Storm mage raised his hand and muttered the name of his spell. Tanik tensed up as he waited for the spell that would undoubtedly occur. A storm cloud appeared over Tanik's head and darkened the area around him. Tanik looked around him and less than a moment later he saw two shadowy figures appear over his head. As they each threw a punch at Tanik, he simply grinned, and instantly morphed his right arm into an iron sword in order to block their punches. If successfully blocked, Tanik would slash at them and hopefully take them both out. Afterwards, Tanik would quickly back up a few meters to gain some distance from the storm mage and his shadow creations if they were still active by chance. He would stay light on his feet to react to anything the storm mage would throw at him. And he would remain cautious about the storm cloud over his head as he was still unsure about its use. It could take him out instantly for all he knew.

    The Dark Storm Mage was proving to be a worthy opponent. But the fight still had to play out before Tanik would be able to decide that for sure. Right now this fight would answer, for him atleast, the question of which element was superior. Iron or Dark Lightning.
