New lands outside of Fiore are now in the grasp for many residents! The crowds are gathered around the registration desks, and small riots are breaking out due to the excitement! New lands to explore, new places to live in, new experiences await the curious travelers in Fiore! Or the everyday, common mage. New lands means new jobs to perform; though not many tales are told of guilds outside of Fiore- so there is bound to be ample amounts of work to pick up. And if nothing else, a means to simply explore the new lands and encounter new beasts. Danger, excitement, and Thrills. Its a whole new world out there, and everything is ripe for the picking.

That is, if the mages can get through the crowds long enough to be able to get their passports. Despite these being available in two different locations, as well as being open for a long time now; there are STILL crowds of people hustling and bustling into the registration offices looking to get their passports. This was an annoyance to this particular re-quip mage of Laughing Coffin, Zaltac. He hated being out in crowds, as he found people more annoying in public than when on a job.The constant judging, the gossip behind their own backs, and the lack of any respect given to those who clearly deserve it. A selfish time, a selfish world, full of morons wanting to make their lives better somehow and end up ruining their own community. Laziness was a plague like magic, and it sickened Zaltac to no end. Though he used magic, it was only to give him weapons. Sure he can use the weapon's powers, but they are more tools to use his strength and skill over having to rely on them to get a job done. So far, he was able to manage getting various jobs done rather quickly.

Besides, he needed this according to the Tomb Keeper, Feitan as the two were apparently going to go on a job where he needed to get a passport. And the sooner, the better to avoid Guild Master Haruhi's wrath.

Zaltac took his place among the crowded line. Though not everyone was kind enough to be so generous as to get into the back of the line and wait like one would normally expect. People were punching, kicking, shoving, and even biting others in order to try and rush to the front. So much for appearing to be sophisticated; they were all animals. Children crying-Mothers screaming-Fathers pummeling offenders-Thieves stealing- Guards trying to keep the line in order yet failing- overall chaos. There were only a few people who were able to stand there dignified enough to wait patiently, who earn the respects of those in front and behind them as no one seemed to mess with them or cut in front of those individuals. Remnants of what sophistication and honor are like.

Zaltac was one of these few who. He stood in line with his right arm down by his side and his left hand casually placed against his hip. However, his patience was wearing thin as people were aggressively moving around him; accidentally being shoved into by the crowd of passport hungry pedestrians. The thought that they run out of materials to make passports and only have a limit crossed his mind if people are this aggressive about it. But from what he could tell, it would be HOURS before he reached even the doors. And even then, he could hear people shouting inside and arguing with the clerks about the prices of the passports; doing whatever they possibly can to get a deal for their family. Assuming the pace that the line moved and the amount of fighting going on; it was clear that any day this place was open was a BAD day to try and get a passport. He was not the only one to notice this as well; as a white gowned, silver haired mage in front of him used his magic to calmly move the line to the side. It was earth based magic, as the ground simply shifted the rough-housing pedestrians to the side in front of him so that he may cross with ease to the front. How he would handle inside however, would be a bit more of a mystery. At least he made it easier for guards to swarm onto the fighters to put a stop to this madness, doing it all delicately as though it was just another day. Something Zaltac contemplated on doing; though his own magic would just cause harm and get him involved within the madness. He did not want to cause any further trouble, so when the line in front of him began to move in a hurry, he moved along as well. That little nifty trick easily caused several pain-stacking hours to drop; as he now found himself halfway to the door.

The closer to the door, the more obvious of the aggression going on inside. It looked as though there were no guards, and the clerks were safe behind some magically reinforced desks and glass; as it was an all out brawl inside by the fathers who showed up early. Easy to say, no progress for anyone other than the few who managed to slip past the brawlers and get to the clerks. Yet none of the fathers would allow just anyone to get close, as they all wanted to get their families passports as fast as possible...counter productive. If they just did it in a timely and orderly fashion; everyone would have been done by now. Or they would be out of passports meaning others would have to go home or stay another night. Though that could mean financial issues if they only have enough for the passports at the moment. Still did not mean they had to act like animals in order to get the passports. They were just slowing everything down for everyone. Annoyances. But what can you do but wait it out? Other than getting angry and blasting through everyone like a bull dosser. Of which, Zaltac could fight his way through; but what would that prove? Nothing. Warriors do not fight when not provoked, and they do not fight to make an ends to their goals. Fighting was to be done for honor, and not just to get what you want. Showing restraint is part of a warrior's code. No matter how tempting it would be with all the screaming, shoving, and fighting going on around you. Or how annoying people are at the moment.

Time moved at a snail's pace. More aggression building up among the common folk while some of the level headed were getting through easily. Zaltac however was not one of those few, and his patience was ice thin. He hated public places; and he had been standing in this line -in the same spot since the move up- for about two hours because of all the in-fighting going on inside the building. Zaltac was at his limit before he attempted to begin barging through himself to end this madness. But he restrained with the last ounces of will power he had left to hold off. Will power was key. This was a test of will and patience. He had to pass one of the two if not both. All he had to do was distract his mind and wait patiently for his chance to move in. The more creative individuals have already gotten their passports with all the fighting going on. Everyone else was either too scared or unwilling to step into the brawl that was going on inside. Those who did hastily were thrown into the fighting; and often times came running back out. It was surprising how much fighting was still going on despite all this time passing. Honestly, he had to give it to those inside who were still going at it; two hours of non-stop brawling had to be tiring on more than just one individual. A feat well worth respect if these were common people. He would just have to wait and see once all the chaos has settled down. Certainly a ward was going to be needed to house all the injured though and the registration building would be closed for maintenance.

Zaltac finally had enough after another hour of waiting and no results. But just as he was about to push his way through the crowd in front of him to end the senseless fighting, a woman cried out from behind with a ludicrous accusation:
"Hey, you cut in front of me!" What was this, a line up of children waiting to get ice cream in front of a truck? She was pointing directly at Zaltac too; which was causing a stir among the crowd around him due to everyone being stressed out. Obviously a fight inside the building was not enough for some folk.
"You are heavily mistaken, I have been standing here for three hours now and have not moved an inch. Though that is changing soon, this farce has gone on long enough." Zaltac defended himself, as he turned around to begin making headway for the door. However, one of the men standing in line grabbed Zaltac's shoulder and wound his fist back before slamming it into Zaltac's nose; and knocking the white clothed fighter into four others that were waiting patiently in front of him. Once the 4 human pin strike had finished; Zaltac rose to his feet eerily calm. But as the man attempted to assault the fighter again, Zaltac grabbed the poor fool's arm and simply snapped his wrist with a firm jerk. Zalt's nose injured, but not bleeding, was enough to push the calm requip fighter over the edge. As the man cried out in pain from his wrist being harshly snapped out of position; Zaltac stormed into the building where he would be greeted with even greater stress relief.

The details were too gruesome to go into, evident by the looks of the pedestrians waiting outside with a mixed look of horror and disgust. It took only ten minutes before there was finally silence in the main building; with Zaltac standing in front of the counter covered in blood. Though none of it was his minus a bleeding nose and a few scrapes. Obviously the clerk was not too shocked about his condition, but was mortified by what had transpired in front of her. Regardless, she helped him out with filling his information and he paid for his passport accordingly.  Though medics were immediately called once Zaltac left the building and returned to the streets of Hargeon. Would he get in trouble for knocking out thirty or so grown men out of anger? Probably so if Haruhi or Feitan caught wind of it. But Zaltac was not in the magic world to make friends; he wanted to settle a point. And that point did not rely on boundaries of morality in times of anger. Four hours of waiting, only to wind up getting assaulted when he did nothing to deserve it; a fight was going to happen. Though he will willingly make up for any of the trouble he had caused this day. For now, he had his passport and was able to go onto missions across Earthland; where he could possibly broaden his view of strength and meet new idols to be inspired by.

    Mission Complete.
