Strike a Pose! {Job|Solo}

Magnolia! What a lovely town. Tane was so glad she was given the opportunity to visit it. A man in a horsecart offered to take her there. Little did she know that he was working for a human trafficking organization and he was capturing her. What made him drop her in the middle of the journey to who knows where was the fact that she was insanely questioning. Everything she found strange or unfamiliar caused her to ask a question to the man with very little knowledge about pretty much anything. She hummed a cheery tune as she skipped along a winding dirt path that led into a forest. This must be the ‘East Forest’, she thought. Without a second thought or hesitation, the young Prestigious walked right in, not a hint of anxiety on her features. It was a larger forest than the ones she had explored in the other towns. She still had not been to every nook and corner of Fiore.

Tane did not exactly know why she was tiptoeing through the forest when she could just walk normally, so she stopped for a moment with a subconscious ‘hm’, observing her surroundings. She could hear the faded sound of lost couples whispering from the trees. Twirling, she reached about five meters from where she was standing about eight seconds ago. Tane giggled. She then spotted strange activity within the forest. With a tilt of her head, she approached the group of people, taking slow and wary steps. She was on her bare feet, as always. She could have been mistaken for a forest nymph! Although she was six feet tall, it was not like she had the features of a nymph. A man noticed her presence and turned towards her, poking another human male beside him and pointing at her. There was only one other female and she was clothed in very posh clothing, appearing very out of place in the forest.

“Hello,” she spoke in a soft, delicate voice. Her unusual accent would not be too noticeable until she spoke at least a ten worded sentence. The males and single female had all their eyes on her, making her light up a little. One of the men then asked if she was here for the job. The job? She had no clue what they were talking about, so she responded by saying, “I would help with anything you want me to,” with a delighted grin and a slight bob of her head. The males grinned and gestured for to enter their little circle. Apparently they had some machines with them that Tane was not too familiar with. She blinked in confusion then stepped into a curtained section of their little makeshift shelter. The woman brought some wear for her to change into, telling her that she would need to put them on.

Tane emerged through the fabric curtains, wearing an incredibly flamboyant wear. She looked down at the outfit, not really understanding why she was asked to put this on. A male holding up a machine with a cylindrical tube protruding from its front. He told her to pose naturally. She was unsure what the word meant although she knew the definition of it and that was to be fake, or something along the lines of that. Tane automatically struck a pose that made her look angelic from every angle. The photographer was in awe, looking at the screen of his camera then back at Tane - shock and delight laced together in the expression that was on his face, accompanied by a wide grin. He asked for more, which Tane nodded and continued her ‘posing’. It was awkward at first, although the photographer was extremely thrilled to capture her images in more frames.

It was her last frame, and the job was done. Tane was given the outfit as a gift but she refused to take it. Chanelle was of course over the moon. The tall mage changed back into her normal outfit, thanking the crew for letting her have fun with it. She skipped along then, waving back at them. Of course, since she did not accept the gift, they had to give her jewels instead, which - after a few failed refusals - the girl had to take. It was only to satisfy the humans. Tane shoved the money into her pocket and went back to the town center. She would find something to eat there. Although she rarely ate, she felt like it was the time now. And so she hurried there on her bare feet, not wanting to miss anyone that might need her assistance in the town center itself.
