- Allows Mao’s magic to overlay, gaining added damage from spells.
Weaknesses:
- Doesn’t grant any added attack range beyond an extra inch.
- Can only protect against 3 D-rank strikes from weapons of equal rank.
- Doesn’t hide the glow from Mao’s crystal magic.
- A little cumbersome around the fingers, it lessens her ability to pick up anything smaller than a ping pong ball. In this instance, the sword is mightier than the pen, or at least easier to wield.
