Job Requirements: Find the mysterious white flower deep within the Spooky Forest! Minimum of 10 posts. Must defeat at least one batch of monsters. 150 words per post.
Job Location: Spooky Forest
Job Description: The medicinal shop in Magnolia can't seem too pay their workers enough too journey into the Spooky Forest too gather a specific type of flower needed as an ingredient in a powerful medicine. Find it for them! But watch out...something's lurking, stalking, snarling.
Enemies:
Weak: Goblin x3 (Who knows what they're doing, and why they've decided too follow you. But they are not friendly...at all. A few hits should clobber them out for the count though.)
Normal: Wild Pack Wolves x4 (Four wolves have been stalking you...and they've decided you're lunch! Defeat them with at least 2 hits on each one of them! They attack with claws and fangs, each will attack you once each round, roll too block!)
Strong: Lone Wolf (This wolf rolls solo, and that alone should prove how tough he is! He attacks you twice each round on his own. Every so often he'll attempt a pounce attack too pin you too the ground. Roll 3 "Block Die" if he does this. If you roll 2 or more Blocks, you don't get pinned. If you get pinned he bites you for "4 Attack Die", though you can still attempt too block. Take him out with 5 hits!)
Boss: Dire Wolf (This wolf is....huge too be honest. He stands about ten feet, quite big for a wolf, indeed. He'll attempt too run circles around you too confuse you, but stay focused! Every so often he'll dive in for an attempted bite or claw swipe against you. Roll 3 "Attack Die" each time he dives in for an attack! Roll 3 "Block Die" too see if you get away. If you don't block you'll be shredded for C-Ranked damage, be careful! His normal bite attack also deals C-Ranked damage and can truly hurt! Put him down with 10 hits! Good luck!)

It was an uneventful day at the guild hall since there were even less things to do this evening, causing Serena to feel like crap the entire day. Just then, her lion, Astrid passed a paper that it had ripped from the request board, 'The Rarest Flower' it was titled and then followed with a description on what the client needed. She smiled faintly at the description and stood up from her seat, this seemed like something which she would definitely find some sort of interest and entertainment in doing. The client's house wasn't too far away, nor was the place of retrieval, which increased Serena's mood by a lot. She took the paper and confirmed the request to be performed and then left the guild hall, headed towards the client's home. After about 10 minutes, she at last reached the not too large but decent building of the client and with a deep breath, she rang the doorbell.

After a few minutes of waiting, a man, presumably the client, finally answered the door and saw Serena standing outside. "I came for the job," Serena stated and held up the paper which had been scrunched up to fit in her pocket. The man gave a delighted grin and ushered Serena into the home quickly and began speaking."Finally, someone answered our request. Anyways, I suppose you have a basic understanding of why we called you here, yes?" Serena gave a slight nod. "Right, so this flower's called Angel's Wing and like stated in the flier, it holds many medicinal properties which would aid us in our business. The flowers should be scattered out in the deeper parts of the forest, where the light shines the least, lighting up in the darkness. It looks like this. So you can help us, yes?" the man asked, after going on for quite a while. Serena nodded with as reassuring a smile she could muster before thanking the man and leaving for the forest.

Letting out a sigh, Serena finally left the shop, glad to be away from such a talkative character. The guy could have went on for hours if it wasn't that they needed the flower as soon as possible. The Spooky Forest would definitely take some time getting to, especially since she had to go to Magnolia and then back to Clover Town where her guild is, then to the Spooky Forest, altogether meaning about an hour's journey. She sighed for the second time that day as she boarded the train back to Clover Town and from there on, she would be travelling on foot for half an hour. An hour passed soon enough and Serena was back in Clover Town. She then proceeded to head east, where the Spooky Forest lay. Hopefully, she would be able to finish this entire thing without too much trouble, though that was probably impossible since the job did state that there would be monsters lurking in the forest.

Soon enough, after the long half an hour walk, Serena found herself and Astrid standing before the entrance of the Spooky Forest. She glanced at Astrid for reassurance and walked in, fists clenched, eyes and ears alert for any sign of danger that could come to them at any given time. However, she had a feeling that the monsters would only appear as she went further into the forest but luckily, she had Astrid by her side, so she didn't have too much to worry about. Silence took over the entire forest immediately, interrupted only by the crunching sounds of the dry leaves their feet stepped on. Just then, Astrid whisked around towards a bush, growling angrily, claws out and ready to pounce at any given time. Serena looked over to her pet and towards the bush, eyes narrowed in suspicion, hoping it wasn't what she thought it would be.

In a blink of an eye, a large Solo Wolf lashed out at the duo, snarling angrily, looking quite starved. Astrid took this action to be a challenge and the two animals ended up in a glaring contest, Serena watching the event take place in silence. She knew the wolf would attack soon, and that Astrid was also prepared. However, she knew she couldn't disrupt this just yet. She would have to wait until the animals gave up and started attacking, then she would cease the opportunity to defeat the foe, but she knew this wolf wouldn't back down so easily without a good long fight, and that what she was going to give it, a nice fight displaying each of their strengths. A few seconds later, the wolf attempted a bite at Astrid's neck making the lion jump back in surprise, growling at the foe in disapproval and anger at the sudden attempted sneak attack. Serena got into a fighting stance knowing that she would have to put this wolf down sooner or later.

The wolf in no time at all attacked Serena, attempting a scratch but fortunately Serena backed off from that attack before the wolf did the vicious charge, knocking her off her feet, causing her to wince in pain from the sudden impact on the ground. She shakily got up, regaining her energy slightly, though panting from the damage she took earlier. Astrid whined at its master's injury and ran to her side, baring its fangs at the wolf it had taken a huge dislike to. Serena inhaled deeply and clasped her hands together, getting ready for a counter attack to pay back the wolf with. Astrid seemed to know what its master was thinking and its claws came out, knowing that it would be assisting its master in this battle as well like it usually does. With a swift movement, Serena attempted to attack with Steam Chains, hoping that it wouldn't miss.

Long winding chains of steam encircled the surprised wolf, tightening around the wolf immediately, giving it barely any chances of attack. The wolf growled angrily, wincing at the heat in the chains when suddenly Astrid almost attempted a strike, causing Serena to step back slightly, releasing the wolf. "Astrid!" Serena mumbled in surprise when the lion stepped in front of her, apparently wanting to guard her or something. With a sigh, Serena patted Astrid's large furry mane and stepped forward at the enraged wolf which was in a pouncing stance. Her eyes widened at the realisation of what the wolf was going to attempt to do, she stepped back, shoulders stiff and breathing ragged. Astrid appeared to have sensed the wolf's intentions and had also got into a pouncing stance itself, ready to attack. The wolf lay low and lashed out, baring fangs and claws, only wanting revenge on the people who had attacked it.

Quickly, by instinct, Serena crouched down, hands covering her face. She felt the impact of the wolf hit her, but thankfully, did not knock her down. However, her arms had taken severe bruises on them and they were starting to swell up and ache immensely. Gritting her teeth in pain, Serena stood up, her hands by her side feeling quite weak and had barely enough strength in them to clench into fists. Her breathing was ragged and she wasn't in very good shape as from the attack she had taken earlier. She slowly massaged the swollen parts of her arms, wincing in pain as she tried to get her balance back, eyeing the wolf which was now still growling at her angrily. She knew she was close to getting the wolf down and swallowed a lump in her throat as she attempted to ignore the dizziness that was slowly overcoming her. With slightly blurry vision, she somehow managed to get into a fighting position once more and charged at the wolf, Astrid charging as well to prevent its master from getting too hurt once more.

Serena's first couple attacks missed the wolf, but luckily she had managed to land a solid punch on the wolf before staggering back to regain her stamina. Astrid then pounced on the wolf, causing further damage to the foe and ran back to its master, licking her wounds tenderly. Serena gave a half-smile due to the pain she was feeling at the moment and inhaled deeply, readying herself for her last attack, her body slowly being lifted up by the force of the magic spell she was using at the moment. Even though her stamina and energy weren't at its best, she knew she had a little bit more strength in her to give her all in the last attack. Later, she was probably going to have trouble with going to retrieve the Angel's Wing and she might have to ask Astrid to help her out then. Just then the wolf readied itself for another attack.

Serena fell to the ground, choking out blood at the force from the attacks done in by the wolf, disrupting her spell and causing her severe damage all together. Breathing heavily, she got up and started performing her spell once more, her eyes closed as she paid huge attention to the amount of energy she was going to do in this one hit, with help from Astrid, of course. With a deep breath, she opened her eyes, a magic circle already formed below the wolf and Astrid ready to charge in. She then unclasped her hands and in a flash of light, the spell Steam Geyser was conjured. The wolf was now unable to move but even if it could, it was stunned by the flash of light around its being, looking around confused while whimpering slightly. Serena panted, out of breath and stamina, feeling quite tired already after all the damage she took plus her strongest magic spell at the moment. She knew that this spell could not fail at all or she would lose the battle immediately afterwards.

The wolf then fell from the attacks by Astrid and Serena, knocked out completely. With a relieved smile, Serena shakily picked herself up, helped a little by Astrid and began walking deeper into the Spooky Forest. After a while of walking, the duo noticed the lack of light through the forest was increasing the deeper they went. "The flower should be here somewhere..." Serena mumbled softly as she scanned the ground, searching for any signs of small light emanating from any flowers. They went in deeper and deeper until Serena suddenly spotted a faint glowing light from behind a tree and slowly crept towards it, finding the flower that matched the description. Smiling in relief, she carefully picked the flower up and kept it, making sure not to damage it. They managed to get out of the forest easy enough and Serena's wounds were tended to by the village doctor in the Hunting Village. After that, the two went back to Magnolia and to the client's home, successfully delivering the flower and getting the rewards. It was a pretty tough mission but so far, they had managed to complete it successfully.
